Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 44
A light on a pedesal turned off in an elder’s room, signifying that someone close to the elder has died. The elder who was within the room looked at the name written under the light and instantly became furious. He stood up from his seat and shouted, “Who dared to kill my son?!”
After that, he went out of the room and started to search for the killer.
…
Shi Li sneezed. ‘Is this really an allergy or is it something else?’ This thought popped into Shi Li’s mind as he continued to walk towards Cai Luiyin.
Cai Luiyin was still in the same spot where she killed Hui Fuming. She was looking up at the sky with remnants of her tears frozen on her face. She was in a daze as she was currently reminiscing about her past.
It would have been a feast for the eyes if it wasn’t for the blood everywhere. The blood was on her face, her body, her feet and the corpse near her. Shi Li didn’t mind the blood at all. He went behind her and tapped her shoulder. “Are you okay now?” Shi Li asked Cai Luiyin.
Cai Luiyin, who was still in a daze, finally jolted back to reality. “Huh?” She asked as she looked at Shi Li, only to look at her surroundings and herself as she was covered in blood.
In a few breaths’ time, she vomited as she couldn’t handle the gruesome sight that was in front. Shi Li, on the other hand, patted her back to comfort her as she continued to vomit.
…
“So…” Shi Li asked, “Are you good now?”
Cai Luiyin, who now had a pale complexion, nodded slowly. “Yeah…I think I’m good.”
Shi Li then asked her, “So how do you feel now that you’ve avenged your sister and your clan?”
Cai Luiyin smiled lightly, “My heart feels hundreds of times lighter now that you say that.”
Shi Li then continued to ask, “Oh yeah. Did you get a transmission from the Hui clan patriarch?”
Cai Luiyin’s eyes widened as she was confused. “Eh? What transmission? I think I heard a voice talk to me while I was in a daze. Sorry about that.”
Shi Li shrugged his shoulders and told Cai Luiyin, “It’s okay. Let’s just go to the patriarch.”
“I won’t let you do that!” Out of nowhere, a person blocked both of them from moving any closer to the patriarch.
Shi Li sighed. “As expected. Luiyin, step back. I’ll be sure to make this fast.” He then pointed towards a corner where Cai Luiyin wouldn’t be severely injured if she was accidentally hit.
The elder was slightly surprised. He then asked, “What do you mean ‘as expected’? I just arrived here you know?”
Shi Li replied, “If I kill the son, naturally the father would come and take revenge for his son. For some reason, the heavens work this way.”
He continued, “But who am I to question the heavens? The reason why I am here is because of them, same goes for you.”
The elder tilted his head in confusion. “What? Who are you talking to?” The elder looked at Shi Li who was currently staring at the sky.
Shi Li realized this and lightly coughed. “Sorry for confusing you there. The heavens were telling me to fight with you as it was meant for it to happen.”
The elder sighed. “Then so be it. Let’s fight to the death.”
Increasing his force multiplier to 800 and activating the Flowing Heavens technique, he clenched his fist and dashed towards the elder, aiming to deal a killing blow.
The elder harrumphed, “Eh? That’s all you’ve got? And you have the audacity to face me head-on? Hmph, too arrogant.”
The elder grabbed a massive sword from his space bag and started to wave it around to familiarize. He then imbued qi into the sword, making it stronger and harder.
Gradually, the sword’s aura intensified, forming into an unidentifiable shape. It was looking less of a sword and more of something else.
“Taste my blade! [Unyielding Penetration]!”
In a flash, he appeared behind Shi Li as he striked downwards. Shi Li didn’t expect that the elder was doing a sneak attack so he hurriedly redirecting all the power from his fist into a dense qi barrier. Yet within seconds, the barrier broke, making Shi Li scream out loud, “You broke through my barrier!”
…
Cai Luiyin, who was still in a corner, started to get a nosebleed. “What the hell am I listening to?!” she shouted inwardly.
Her eyes told her that a fight was happening in front of her yet her ear told her that it was two men having fun with each other.
Cai Luiyin shook her head, “No no no. Don’t think about that. That’s impossible, that sort of love is forbidden.”
As she was talking to herself. she looked in front of her and saw that the fight was almost over. The elder fell to the ground with his sword broken into pieces, and Shi Li still standing with his fist up in the air.
…
“No! Don’t kill me! I just wanted to take revenge for my son! Spare me!” the elder shouted.
“You had the chance but the heavens are unforgiving.” Shi Li then made a hole on the elder’s chest, killing him instantly.
“Now shut up.”
Shi Li then walked towards Cai Luiyin in a drunken manner. He was actually getting dizzy. “Shi Li, are you okay?” Cai Luiyin asked him.
“I…I am fine.” Shi Li said. “Let’s go to the patriarch.”
