Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 45
The patriarch was pacing back and forth within his room, nervously waiting for someone to meet him. Who is the patriarch waiting for? Who else would it be other than Shi Li and Cai Luiyin?
Not long later, a pale and light-headed Shi Li and a bloodied Cai Luiyin entered the patriarch’s room. The patriarch was shocked since they didn’t look like what the patriarch expected. After a while, Shi Li’s dizziness finally settled down and calmly asked the patriarch, “So…are we going to settle on a deal or not?”
The patriarch, fearing that they would make a move on him, hurriedly nodded.
“Of course! Of course! I won’t let you lose on this deal we’ll make! Since you killed the scum of the clan which I longed for to be removed, the clan will forget the 6,000 clan members you killed, give or take,” the patriarch replied.
“That’s all? Nothing else?” Shi Li frowned as he thought that the deal the patriarch would make was going to be more than just that. He then released a fierce aura, capable of destroying mountains in an instant. This made the patriarch shudder in fear.
‘Then again, that’s to be expected. We’re just two people that don’t have any backing whatsoever,’ Shi Li thought with his enhanced brain. But suddenly, his brain started to throb madly, which made Shi Li retract his aura and fall down to the floor on his knees.
Cai Luiyin hurriedly lifted up Shi Li by the shoulder, helping him stand up.
“Are you okay?” She sent a voice transmission to Shi Li but there was no response. Shi Li currently had a small amount of consciousness that only enabled him to look around. The patriarch saw this and became arrogant in an instant.
He harrumphed, “You dare ask me for more when you can’t even stand up alone? Hah! You two must be dreaming to fool me.”
Cai Luiyin gritted her teeth in anger. She wanted to say something to the patriarch but then Shi Li tried to remove Cai Luiyin’s arm on his shoulder. With a bit of effort, Shi Li managed to stand up, but he was moving around to stabilize himself.
Cai Luiyin was worried.
“Shi Li, are you alright?”
This time, Shi Li replied albeit slowly.
“I’m…fine…just….leave this…to me…”
He slowly walked up to the patriarch step by step, moving left to right like a drunken man. The patriarch laughed, “Is this still the same Shi Li who killed 5,000 of my members in one go? You look pathetic. Just go die already.”
The patriarch imbued all of his qi into his left fist and activated his own dao. He then striked towards Shi Li, landing a firm hit on his…on second thought, he didn’t.
Surprisingly, Shi Li appeared in front of him with his fist operating at full power. Stacking layers upon layers on top of each other, he made a technique that was incomparable to all of his previous techniques. Sadly, he was half-conscious at the moment so he wouldn’t even remember this.
“Cai Luiyin,” he said, “After this…let’s have fun…later okay?”
Cai Luiyin was confused but she still nodded.
Shi Li made a slight smile as he made a punching motion towards the patriarch’s heart.
He weakly muttered, “[Grand Qi Force], ultimate movement, [Eternal Samsara Fist].”
As the fist touched the patriarch, he felt a ripping motion acting on him. It was akin to a black hole attempting to split him into pieces. The patriarch could barely hold his form with his qi and dao…but it was still insufficient.
Out of nowhere, a giant yin-yang wheel appeared behind the fist, spinning in a spiral, gradually becoming faster and faster, strengthening the ripping force on him.
“No. No! NO! I won’t die here! I planned to make this clan rise to the top! I wanted to make it the ruler of the world…”
These were the patriarch’s last words while he was being ripped apart. When the yin-yang wheel disappeared, nothing remained of the patriarch, not even a drop of blood.
Cai Luiyin looked at Shi Li with shock, “How did you do it?”
Shi Li didn’t answer her question but instead chuckled lightly in a feeble manner.
“You promised…we’ll have fun later…I want to sleep…let’s go…later…”
Gradually, Shi Li’s voice was weakening until there was no more sound being produced. Shi Li slowly leaned forward, falling on the floor face down.
Cai Luiyin hurriedly ran up to Shi Li, worrying about his safety. When she touched Shi Li, she didn’t feel any warmth, all she felt was coldness, a dark and freezing coldness. She turned him around, just to see his face solemnly sleeping.
But he wasn’t breathing.
…
In a place near the Hui clan, a life light went out, shocking the man in charge. The life light that flickered off was different from the normal ones as it was…a clan life light!
The man hurriedly contacted the City Lord as it was urgent news. He grabbed a transmission crystal and screamed, “City Lord! City Lord! Bad news!”
The city lord, who was playing with women, suddenly stopped and frowned when he heard this. He grabbed the transmission crystal by his waist and replied coldly, “What’s wrong?”
“The Hui clan…the Hui clan…the Hui clan patriarch…is dead!”
“What?!” the city lord’s eyes widened in shock. The three clans of the city were in power for so long, yet one was brought down in a short amount of time.
The city lord looked at the crystal and hurriedly shouted, “Find out who killed the Hui clan patriarch as fast as possible!”
Minutes later, the man replied, “I-I’ve found the culprit. It’s a man named Shi Li!”
The city lord then said seriously, “Tell the whole city that there is a new power in our city named Shi Li. Tell them that whatever they do, they shouldn’t mess with him.”
…
Within days, the name Shi Li scattered all over the city, giving him the moniker of ‘Soaring Heaven’s Tyrant.’
“Hey, did you know about this Shi Li? I heard he killed 5,000 members in one go!”
“Did you hear about the girl beside him? She was actually the sole survivor of the Cai clan!”
“I heard that the patriarch died with only one punch. Shi Li’s too awesome! Someday, I’ll be like him!”
…
“Is there a cure for it, Doctor?” Cai Luiyin nervously asked the doctor that was examining Shi Li. The doctor examined Shi Li. He saw that Shi Li was fine everywhere, except for one thing, he wasn’t breathing at all.
The doctor thought up of many possible cures but none of them would seem to work on him.
“Did he do something different within these past few days?” the doctor asked Cai Luiyin.
Cai Luiyin nodded. “He has drunken a mental enhancement elixir these past few days.”
The doctor’s eyes widened in shock. “Mental enhancement elixir?! So that’s why!”
The doctor turned to Cai Luiyin and explained, “Mental enhancement elixirs always come with a side effect, once you overdraft the usage of your brain, you end up falling unconscious, and the worst case scenario…brain dead.”
Cai Luiyin’s eyes started to tear up.
“No! That can’t be! Impossible!” she shouted. In this state of hopelessness, she bent down on her knees, hugging her legs, rocking back and forth.
“No…Shi Li…don’t die on me…I thought we were gonna have fun…don’t leave me here…”
She continued to mutter out gibberish as the doctor sighed.
“You can prolong his inevitable death if you give him large amounts of qi everyday,” the doctor said, “But for now, it seems that this case is…”
“Unsolvable.”
….
In another place, a beautiful woman was holding a daisy while remembering about her beautiful past. She then started to sing the song her husband always sang.
“Daisy, Daisy, give me your heart to do…”
“I’m half crazy, hopeful in love with you…”
“It won’t be a stylish marriage…”
“I can’t afford a carriage…”
“But you look sweet upon the street…”
“On a bicycle built for two…”
She looked at the flower and muttered out, “When will we meet again…Xingwan?”
