Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 53
Illis looked at Dane and asked, “Half-Bronze?”
He looked around his surroundings to ask about it but no one bothered to answer.
He asked once again, “Can anyone tell me what Half- Bronze is?”
Dane heard Illis’s question and coughed to gain his attention. “You know what levels are right?”
Illis looked at him and nodded. “Yeah, I do. What about them?”
Dane explained, “Well, every 5 levels you reach, your body will go through a change that would ascend your genetic makeup into another rank. From this, an aura forms to signify that your body has ascended amongst the other people.
Once you reach the 5th level, your body will emanate a bronze aura, hence the term Bronze Body.
Once you reach the 10th level, the bronze aura will transform into a silver aura, turning your Bronze Body into a Silver Body.
And once you reach the 15th level, all of that silver aura will converge inside your body, exploding outwards with a golden hue. That is what people call a Golden Body.
There are more tiers after Golden Body but that’s still too far away for you.”
Illis tilted his head in confusion. “What does that have to do with the Half-Bronze thing though?”
Dane answered his question again. “If your level is close to the level that ascends your body, there’s a chance for your body to ascend halfway, giving you the same aura closest to the real thing. We call those who were lucky to experience it, a Half-Ascended Body. To differentiate from truly ascended bodies, we change the terms to Half-Bronze, Half-Silver, Half-Gold and so on…”
An idea flashed through his mind and he looked at Illis. “You’re at level 4 right?”
Illis shook his head. “Level 3.”
Dane’s eyes widened in shock. “Level 3?! Seriously?!”
Illis sighed and asked his system to show his profile to Dane. Dane looked at the profile intently, just to later on cover his mouth with his hands, afraid of muttering something he shouldn’t. He pulled Illis near him and whispered, “Meet me here at night, I’ll give you something special.”
Special thoughts flashed through Illis’s mind then he threw it in the back of his head. He shrugged his shoulders. “Alright.”
“Anyways, does anyone know how to remove this aura thing?” Illis was getting irritated with the aura covering his sight.
A person squeezed through the audience to get in front. “I got your answer!”
Illis looked at the person and realized that it was the final opponent he fought with. “Do you really know how?”
The man smiled back, “Yeah, I do. Just say ‘Aura Off’ and it’ll be removed.”
Illis had his suspicions but he gave it a try.
“Aura Off.”
——–
Aura will now be deactivated.

In a few seconds, the bronze aura that surrounded Illis was finally gone. Illis looked at him and smiled.
“Thanks for helping. We can be considered as good friends from now on. We did fight each other right?” Illis chuckled.
The man chuckled as well. “Yeah, we did. What’s your name?”
“I’m Illis. You?”
“Maxwell.”
“Hopefully, we could see each other again.”
“Yeah.”
…
Night time…
Illis saw Dane at the same spot. He came closer and whispered, “So…why did you tell me to meet you here?”
Dane replied, “I wanted to offer you something. Wait a bit more since you’re not the only one I gave an offer to.”
Illis tilted his head in confusion. “Another one?”
Dane shouted out, “Are you there?”
Within seconds, a silhouette appeared behind Dane, shocking Illis. He looked at the silhouette closely and realized that it was the guy he became friends with earlier.
He pointed his finger towards the silhouette and shouted, “Maxwell! It’s you!”
The silhouette that was Maxwell looked at Illis. He waved and smiled back. “Hey Illis, guess we met again. I never thought you’d also be called by Dane.”
Illis nodded then looked at Dane. “So why did you call us?” Maxwell nodded as a sign of him having the same question.
Dane replied, “I wanted you ask you two…”
“Do you want to join an academy?”
Maxwell and Illis both took a step back and muttered out simultaneously.
“Eh?”
Dane sighed. “Hear me out on this one. Aura Release.”
All of a sudden, Dane was shining silver all over. Both Illis and Maxwell had the same two words in mind.
“Silver Body!”
They were surprised that Dane was actually at the Silver Body stage!
Dane said, “I’m not some scammer or anything, I showed you my true power as a sign of such. Now would you hear me out?”
Illis stepped forward and nodded. “Okay, go ahead. We’ll listen to your proposition.”
Dane calmed down and then said, “So I’m the head of recruitment for an academy. This academy is named Excellius Academy. We have tons of skills you can learn and a great training place. Once you join the academy, you’ll be students of the inner circle. Interested?”
Maxwell put his thumb and his forefinger on his chin and thought about it for a bit. “I can’t be sure about that. We still don’t know if you’re forcing us to join since we look inexperienced.”
Illis nodded his head to that statement. “Also, are you really sincere with your offer?”
“Yeah, I am,” Dane replied.
“If I didn’t. would I bring out this?” Dane rummaged through his bag and brought a card. This card was golden in color and it was faintly shining, lighting up a bit of their surroundings.
Illis was curious. “What’s that?” He looked at Maxwell and was shocked to see his jaw open.
“Is that what I think it is?” Maxwell said.
Dane nodded. “Yes, it is. I don’t know where you’ve heard of it, but it’s the real thing.”
Illis looked at Maxwell and asked, “You know what that thing is?”
Maxwell nodded. “Of course, it’s an…”
“Experience card.”
