Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 55
“Hey Maxwell! What took you so long?” Illis looked at Maxwell with curiosity.
Maxwell, who heard this question as he entered the airship, coughed all of a sudden. After a while, he responded, “Uh…I had something to do. Hehe.”
Illis was not convinced with his answer. “Oh really now?”
Maxwell awkwardly laughed. “Yep. Yep.”
“Heh….I see then.” Illis turned around and walked towards Dane.
…..
“Are the coordinates set?” Dane asked the pilot.
The pilot respectfully replied, “All the coordinates have been recalibrated. All of it points towards Transcending Sky City, just as you said. It may take us approximately 4 days to get there, so it’ll be a while.”
Dane nodded. “Thanks for your service.” He then threw an experience card to the pilot, making the pilot bow numerous times to Dane.
Dane turned around and walked to the main hall of the airship.
Once he entered the hall, Illis hurriedly came up to him.
“Hey Dane! You told me that you’d give us the experience card when we meet each other!” Illis harrumphed.
Dane recalled that he did say that once. He scratched his cheeks and chuckled. “Oh yeah, it seems I’ve forgotten. Come with me, I’ll give to you and Maxwell.”
…
Dane rummaged through his bag and grabbed two golden cards that shone in the light. On the cards was the number 3 written on it. He gave it to the both of them. “Now use it and try to get accustomed to your new strength as fast as possible. You have 4 days.”
Dane then turned around and walked towards his room.
Illis looked at his experience card and grinned foolishly. He finally got it!
He calmed himself down from the excitement and asked the system, “Can I use this experience card to level up?”
After a few seconds, the system replied, “User can use experience card of any class to increase level. Just say ‘Experience Card Use’ to use the experience card of choice.”
Illis looked at Maxwell and said, “I’ll just go to an empty room to level up since I don’t want to be disturbed.”
Maxwell nodded and replied back, “Go do that then. Who knows if I become stronger than you.” He chuckled.
Illis also chuckled. “If that’s the case later, then let’s spar okay?”
Maxwell nodded as he smiled. Illis turned around and went into an empty room.
…
“Where’s that airship that has the kid I found?” A man was flying in mid-air searching for a certain airship.
“If I miss this kind of special kid, I’m sure that I’ll regret it!”
He looked around his surroundings and released his aura to sense where the airship could’ve gone. Minutes later, he felt a weak sensation from his right side, it was the airship he was finding for.
“To the right!”
Mustering all of the energy within his body, he used most of it in one go to propel him ever closer to the airship.
…
Illis sat cross-legged on the ground of the empty room. He didn’t know why but it made him feel better than sitting normally. He then held the experience card in front of him and muttered a few words.
“Experience Card Use.”
The screen lit up and scanned the whole room. Seconds later, the screen beamed a laser towards the experience card and made it float in mid-air which made Illis surprised.
——–
Would you like to use Class 3 Experience Card?
Yes or No?
——–
The reason why he wanted the experience card was of course to level faster, so he tapped on “Yes” without hesitation.
——–
Class 3 Experience Card will now be used.
Increasing user experience level.
——–
The laser that was holding the experience card in mid-air intensified all of a sudden, absorbing the pure experience within the card. A few seconds later, all of the experience in the card was absorbed, letting the former card fall to the floor with a clang.
The laser then aimed towards Illis’s body, beaming all of the pure experience to him, nourishing his body.
——–
Experience +50!
Experience +50!
Experience +50!
Experience +50!
Experience +50!
User has leveled up to Level 4!
——–
In just a few minutes, Illis reached level 4 which made him ecstatic. He now had another attribute point to enhance his muscles yet again. But he still waited for the nourishment process to end as he didn’t want anything wrong to happen.
…
——–
Experience +50!
Experience +50!
Experience +50!
1000 Experience from the Class 3 Experience has been fully consumed.
Ending nourishment process.
——–
The nourishment process that Illis enjoyed, ended at a time that seemed like forever to him. He looked at his screen clock and saw that around half an hour has passed.
He stood up and did some basic stretches. He then checked his new profile.
——–
Illis
Level: 4
Experience: 750/1000
Unused Attribute Points: 1
Attributes:
Muscle Enhancement – 3/5
——–
Seeing the free attribute point, he used it on the same attribute and allowed the process to happen yet again.
…
The man finally reached the airship. “Damn airships. Why do you have to be powered with mana.”
“At least I could check on this new kid I found. I must make him my disciple. Whatever it takes.”
Utilizing the special aura around his body, he spread this aura all over the airship to check on the kid.
“Let’s see what’s happening.”
…
After raising his Muscle Enhancement to 4/5, he could now exert more strength than before. He walked towards the main hall.
While walking towards the main hall, he felt a cold breeze pass through his body. “Wow, pretty cold up here in the skies.”
Putting that in the back of his mind, he then reached the main hall, staring at Maxwell who was gazing out of the window.
Illis slowly crept up behind Maxwell and screamed out, scaring Maxwell out of his wits. Maxwell looked behind his back and saw Illis laughing on the floor.
“Hahaha. Real funny. You got me there. Did that make you laugh?”
“Hahahaha! That was priceless!”
After laughing a bit more, Illis stood up and asked Maxwell, “So how much levels did you go up?”
Maxwell grinned and said two words: “Aura Release.”
Within seconds, a faint bronze aura emanated around Maxwell’s body. It was an aura not capable of suppressing Illis but it was sure enough to shock him.
“You’re at Half-Bronze already?” Illis’s eyes widened in shock.
Maxwell nodded. “Yep, you could check my profile to see if it’s real or not.”
Illis commanded his system, “Identify.”
——–
Maxwell
Level:4
Experience: 200/1000
Attribute Points:
Energy Sensitivity – 2/5
Muscle Enhancement – 2/5
——–
Illis then smiled, “Congrats on getting Half-Bronze!”
Maxwell chuckled, “Thanks, thanks. How about you then?”
Illis thought about it for a while and just said, “I’m at Level 4, same as you.”
Maxwell nodded and then told Illis to move to the center of the main hall. “I’m sure you want to spar right?”
Illis grinned. “Of course, I do! Let’s spar!”
…
Illis and Maxwell looked at each other, smiling. “Feels like the final round of the preliminaries right?” Maxwell said.
Illis nodded. “Let’s fight!”
Suddenly, a voice shouted out, “Wait a minute!”
Illis and Maxwell stopped in their tracks and looked towards the direction of the voice, to see a middle-aged man emanating an aura that made it hard for them to breathe.
The aura around the man felt like it encompassed worlds and galaxies, all the while emanating a light blue hue.
Maxwell covered his mouth in shock. “It can’t be!”
Illis was also shocked. “That guy is too strong! What body stage is he in?”
Maxwell looked at Illis and replied softly, “He’s not someone we can compete against because he is currently at the stage of…”
“Diamond Body!”
