Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 60
“Well, well, well. You’re actually a Bronze wolf! Well I’ll offer you something, we face each other head-on and see who falls first. If I fall first, you kill me. And if you fall first, I kill you.”
“Does that sound like a deal?” Illis asked the wolf.
The wolf gave an excited howl as a sign of agreement. The wolf may look like a beast that relies on instincts, but it was a true beast that had gained intelligence comparable to that of a normal person.
“Hmm…that’s great!” Illis grinned. “Well we should give ourselves some leeway to go for a running start. Does that also sound like a deal?”
The wolf gave another howl. Illis moved towards one side of the fire while the wolf moved towards the other one.
Illis then thought up of something. “Oh yeah, use your full strength okay? You could fall first, you know?” He chuckled.
The wolf gave a low growl, showing that it wouldn’t lose out to a puny human like Illis.
…
Illis and the wolf were approximately 10 meters away from each other, looking at each other with a serious gaze. Illis took a deep breath and started to count.
“Three…”
Illis bent his knees, reserving most of the strength within his legs. The wolf did the same thing to its hind legs, aiming to use this force to lunge towards Illis.
“Two…”
Illis clenched his fists, feeling every cell in his body working at maximum power. He gradually emanated a bronze aura, making his skin shine in the dark.
The wolf activated its [Bite] skill, sharpening its teeth even further. It put one of its front legs forward to exert as much as speed as possible at the start.
“One…”
Illis then activated [Tyrant’s Roar: Attack Boost], amplifying his attack temporarily to a higher degree. The bronze aura around him gradually became crimson red, emanating faint killing intent. This made Illis look like a god of slaughter.
The wolf activated its [Dash] skill. It increased the distance it could pass through in an instant. This combination was its trump card, it was ready to pounce.
“…Go!”
Illis exerted all of the force built up in his legs to the ground, propelling him towards the wolf.
The wolf, on the other hand, exerted all of the force on its legs to jump upwards, aiming to hit Illis from above.
A few breaths of time later, Illis was below the wolf while the wolf was above Illis. It was a perfect moment for both of them.
The wolf tilted its head, striking at Illis’s head to instantly kill him. But instead of guarding against the shock, Illis grinned.
‘What’s wrong with this human? Does it not fear death?’ the wolf thought. But it was severely wrong.
“[Tyrant’s Roar]!”
Roar!
When the wolf was getting closer and closer to crushing Illis’s skull, it froze in its place and fell to the ground with a plop.
Illis smiled in happiness. “Heheh! I didn’t even have to move and I won! Man, I should level up [Tyrant’s Roar] more!”
He still stood there with the menacing aura, checking his screen.

He smiled and looked at the wolf who was still on the ground, partly covered in dust.
The wolf looked back at Illis, with reverence and fear imminent in its gaze. Illis seemed unfathomable to it.
He came closer to the wolf, bending down with an evil grin.
“Hehe. You were the first one to fall, so I’ll kill you now, okay?”
Illis raised one of his fists up into the air and condensed the aura around his body into the fist. The fist now looked like a dim sun, with a bright bronze exterior and a crimson red interior.
The wolf wanted to stand up and escape, but it couldn’t due to fear. It was destined to die by Illis’s fist.
‘No. No! NO! I can’t accept this at all!’ the wolf was filled with regret from meeting this human. Sadly, there wasn’t a cure for regrets.
‘At least…even if I have sacrifice my life…I have to bring this damn human down!’
The wolf let out a loud howl, forcing Illis to cover his ears from the loudness. Illis then frowned.
“You’re too annoying. Can you shut up for like…forever?”
He raised his fist again and hurriedly striked at the wolf’s heart, fearing that it would howl loudly again.
Within a few seconds, the wolf’s body stiffened as its eyes became lifeless. Everything was normal except for a big hole in its heart. The heart was mangled into pieces, with blood scattered around the hole. Bits of blood were also seen dripping out of the wolf’s mouth.
Illis breathed a sigh of relief as he looked at his fist. The fist was covered in blood. He then went towards a nearby stream and cleaned off the blood.
He went back to the fire and sat cross-legged. With his mind now awake again, he couldn’t sleep. He looked at the wolf’s carcass, thinking of what to do.
Suddenly, his stomach growled.
Illis smiled a bit. “I guess you’re going to become my meal.”
As he muttered that out, almost of the bushes and plants rattled, which made Illis turn vigilant.
He looked at his surroundings and saw many pairs of eyes. They all shone green.
“Why are they here?” Illis asked himself. Slowly, these creatures revealed themselves in front of Illis. They were all wolves.
‘Wolves? Could it be…?”
He looked at the wolf he killed and the wolves that were in front of him. Noticing the finer details, the wolf he killed and the wolves that showed up have the same fur color. He then remembered that the wolf he killed released a loud howl before its imminent death.
Slowly, a conclusion was formed. Illis looked at the wolf carcass in anger. “Damn it you wolf! Even in your death, you still annoy me!”
He stood up and clenched his fists, looking at all of the wolves with a murderous gaze.
“Everyone, stay where you are,” a voice commanded. The wolves in front of Illis heard this and followed it.
“What? Who’s there?” Illis shouted out. He scanned his surroundings, searching for the one who shouted. Minutes later, he saw a special creature at a certain direction.
He examined the creature’s appearance. It was a wolf but it was more grandiose. Its fur shone a silver hue, reflecting the moonlight. On its head were strands of golden fur, making the wolf look like it wore a golden crown.
Illis was clueless to what creature was in front of him so he muttered softly, “System, identify.”

“Eh?! Silver beast?!” Illis’s eyes widened as he looked at the silver wolf.
Before Illis could recover from his shock, the silver wolf shouted, “Everyone, do as I say.”
“Attack!”
