Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 63
“But what bloodline does he have?” Terry wondered.
He looked intently at Illis, who was still continuing with his mass slaughter. Illis was using his strength extremely efficiently. All of his attacks were completely focused onto one point, allowing him to kill the wolves in one go.
His muscles were firm, holding tons of strength. All of the injuries he received from attacking were healing at a rapid pace, as if it wasn’t there at all.
“Hmm…big muscles…”
“Extremely intrepid strength…”
“Superb regenerative ability…”
“I know many bloodlines which have those qualities…but what?” Terry was in a dilemma.
He then decided to fly a bit closer towards Illis, hoping to notice some more details.
…
‘It doesn’t seem like the guy is aiming for Illis,’ the voice thought to itself.
‘But instead…you could say that it actually cares for him! Is he Illis’s master or something?’
‘Anyways…let me finish this.’
Illis looked at the silver wolf and started to walk towards it. For every step Illis took, the silver wolf seemed to step backward with the same amount.
Who could blame the wolf that its enemy was this strong? It growled in fear.
“You already killed all of my brethren! What else do you want? Kill me too?”
All of a sudden, Illis appeared behind the silver wolf, making the wolf tense up.
Illis then replied indifferently, “If I said yes…would you die for me?”
Raising his right fist, he striked downwards aiming at the wolf’s abdomen. Expecting a crunch to sound out, he instead heard a boom which made his eyes slightly widen.
Looking at his fist, it was planted to the ground firmly. He then searched for the wolf, only to find it a few meters away, sneering at him.
“Heh! That was all a ruse. I could escape that easily with my [Sky Dash]!”
——–
[Sky Dash] Lv. 2
An enhanced version of the [Dash] skill, allows the user to increase their agility to an extremely high value for a short amount of time. It supposedly allows them to walk in the air.
——–
The silver wolf then howled loudly in happiness. “Who knew you’d be too slow to even hit m-”
A bang resounded out from where the wolf was standing. Dust scattered all over the air.
A word was heard within the dust.
“Annoying.”
Gradually, the dust settled. The wolf was nowhere to be seen. What was in its place was Illis with his right fist extended.
…
“Oh?” Terry’s eyes lit up. He was getting onto something.
“If my suspicions are correct, then Illis right here gained the strength of 9 more Illises. System, observe stats.”
——–
Illis
Stats:
Vitality – 198 (19)
Endurance – 252 (25)
Strength – 327 (32)
Agility – 159 (16)
Stamina – 164 (16)
——–
His eyes widened then he laughed like no tomorrow. “My assumptions are correct! He did gain that much strength!”
He put his thumb and forefinger onto his chin as he rubbed his beard, pondering. “I know many bloodlines that offer a big boost like that, but which one does he have?”
As the dust settled, Terry finally had a good view of Illis’s face. It was just like his normal face, yet the bloodshot eyes seemed to emanate a killing intent towards everyone who looked at it.
Terry gasped and covered his mouth in shock. He then exclaimed, “I got a really great seedling this time! I surely did!”
“He has the Ten Body Berserker bloodline!”
…
The silver wolf slowly stood up, staring at Illis with shock. ‘How could this human appear out of nowhere at that speed?’
It took a few steps backward, maintaining a gap between them.
“You may have defeated me this time, but I’ll never let you get away with this!” it howled.
It turned around, and used [Sky Dash] to get as far away from Illis as possible.
Illis, on the other hand, stood in place. He did not even think of chasing the wolf down. It was still too slow for him.
‘I never thought the first unlock would let me use this.’ the voice thought.
Slowly, Illis bent his knees to a right angle, just to make sure he’s in a stable position. He clenched his right fist and extended it outward.
He then aimed the fist at the direction of the silver wolf, who was still running away.
The silver wolf looked back at Illis, who was in that stance.
‘Is he doing some sort of long-ranged attack? Hah! That won’t be able to hit m-‘
The wolf’s thought was interrupted as a beam of crimson and black light hit his body.
All of a sudden, its legs turned black in color and withered as it bent inwards. The wolf fell to the ground as it howled in pain. The legs it once had were no longer there, what remained were dark stubs on its underbelly.
It endured the pain to take a glance at Illis, who had the same light emanating out of his right fist.
The wolf couldn’t hear what Illis was saying a while ago since it was focused on escaping. But being stuck on the ground, it had made the wolf recall the words Illis said.
“[Blood Bullet Phantasmagoria].”
Gradually, the wolf’s parts were being withered and twisted, making the wolf grimace in pain. It knew that it had no choice but to die, but it still tried anyway.
“Hehe.” The wolf tried to chuckle through the pain. “My son, I guess I’m going to meet you soon enough.”
As the wolf muttered these words, his whole being had withered, only leaving a black outline of what was once a wolf.
…
Illis looked at the withered wolf carcass with indifference. He slowly stood up and stretched his body lightly.
‘Well since I’m done, time to let Illis take over the body.’
In an instant, the muscles on Illis’s body shrinked, as well as his stature. It was slowly reforming to how Illis looked from before.
The circulation of his blood slowed down and his veins started to contract to the normal width. The eyes that were bloodshot regained their white luster.
Minutes later, the process ended, leaving a standing Illis. Slowly, Illis’s strength was sapped and he fell to the ground back first.
It looked like he was sleeping soundly like normal. But with the giant puddle of blood and foreign matter around him, that wasn’t the case.
Terry, who was still in mid-air, flew towards Illis and lifted him up.
He glanced at Illis’s face and saw that there was no residual effects. He breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.
“You have a lot of blood on your body, but I’ll let it slide this once.”
“You unlocked your bloodline, huh? Then I’ll make the training even harder!” he chuckled.
He looked at the surroundings and started to fly towards the camp that Terry set up.
“It may have just been a day, but I’ll let you rest. Good work.”
