Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 66
In the Memory Desert…
“I don’t want to fight you two at all!” Shi Li couldn’t help but shout out.
It has been hours since Shi Li and the two Yan clan people met. Every attack that the Yan clan people throwed, Shi Li miraculously dodges it by a bit.
At the first few attacks, they thought it was a fluke, but as time passed, they became shocked. Even Shi Li was shocked as his body was moving on its own.
‘Is this…my reflexes?’ Shi Li asked himself. He tried to recall these memories once again, but all it gave him was more headaches.
“When will my memories come back to me?” Shi Li couldn’t help but mutter as he ran.
“Hahahaha! You can’t escape Shi Li! We’ll kill you one way or another!” Yan Xiu laughed maniacally as he saw that Shi Li was running out of stamina.
Yan Xiu looked at his twin brother and said, “Grab your whip. Go bind him, we’re gonna end this once and for all.”
Yan Qiu smiled at the thought. He opened his space bag and grabbed a normal-looking black whip. He then started to dash towards Shi Li.
…
Shi Li, who was still running, looked back and saw one of the twins charge towards him.
“I just wanted to recover my memory…” Shi Li sighed. “Why did it end up like this?”
“You’re doomed!” Yan Qiu imbued his qi into the whip and striked towards Shi Li.
“[Yellow River Bind: Serpent Constriction]!”
The end of the whip moved towards Shi Li in a random manner, as if the whip was a desert snake. Within seconds, the whip grabbed hold of Shi Li and trapped him in his place.
Shi Li tried to break free but couldn’t since he didn’t know how to exert all of his strength.
“If my memories are still there, please come ba-” Shi Li stopped with his monologue as an influx of information came gushing through his brain.
‘I am Shi Li. 18 years old, and a Qi Creation realm cultivator.’
‘I cultivate the [Art of True Omnipotence] and I use the arts of the [Grand Qi Force].’
‘I killed many people, and the Yan clan people are one of them.’
Random information came back to Shi Li, which left him in a daze. Yan Qiu looked at this and smiled in delight.
“Yan Xiu! Come here! Do your worst on this brat!”
Yan Xiu hurriedly ran up to his twin brother and looked at the situation with surprise. He looked at his twin and asked curiously, “What happened to Shi Li?”
Yan Qiu replied with a smile. “Who cares? He’s currently in a daze, go hit him with your ultimate move!”
Yan Xiu nodded and took a few steps back. Slowly, a manifestation of a golden snake started to appear behind his back. It then merged with Yan Xiu’s body, giving him the strength of the golden snake.
He then closed his eyes afterwards. He was focusing all of his energy on controlling the energy of the golden snake. Sweat started to drop down his forehead.
“It seems that brother here still doesn’t have a full grasp of his dao,” Yan Qiu sighed dejectedly. “Well, at least he can use it.”
Minutes later, Yan Xiu opened his eyes. His eyes squinted as it shone gold, showing the cunningness of a snake.
He bent down his knees and lunged towards Shi Li, positioning himself a few meters above Shi Li’s head.
He opened his mouth, revealing a gruesome set of fangs. These fangs were yellow in color, with some green fluid dripping down from them.
“Dao of the Yellow Snake, follow my words,” Yan Xiu muttered softly.
“I call on the poison that slaughtered millions. The fangs of might that have defied gods. Manifest in my body and let me kill who dares stand in my way!”
“[Yellow Snake Ultimate Art: Venomous Massacre]!”
All of the fangs on Yan Xiu’s mouth glowed a neon green hue and gradually intensified. As it intensified, thin strands of golden yellow combined with the green light, emanating an aura of sharpness.
And then, a beam fired out of his mouth, aimed at Shi Li’s head.
‘You’re sure to die this time!’ Yan Xiu laughed inwardly.
It got closer and closer until…
Clink.
The green beam deflected from its original direction thanks to a certain something.
Silence filled the surroundings. Seconds later, a few words came out of Shi Li’s mouth.
“[Grand Qi Force], second movement…”
“[Divine Repel Barrier].”
Both Yan Xiu and Yan Qiu looked at him with shock.
“I thought you had amnesia!” Yan Qiu couldn’t help but exclaim.
Shi Li looked at both of them and gave a light smile. “It just came back. I now know why you two were coming out for me.”
He condensed all of his qi into one point and made it burst out in one go, breaking the bind that was holding him.
“What?! That was a Peak Heaven grade whip!” Yan Xiu exclaimed as he landed on his feet.
Shi Li stared at the two of them, slowly intensifiying his aura, to the point it made the two of them feel out of breath. He took a few steps forward, with each step having the killing intent grow stronger and stronger.
He raised his left fist up and imbued all of his qi into it. A vortex started to manifest on the fist, wanting to engulf everything in its way.
“I may have not recovered all of my memory yet…”
“But the two of you will remain a memory here.”
…
“[Art of True Omnipotence]?!” Terry couldn’t help but blurt out what Illis said.
Illis nodded. “That’s the name, Master. What’s wrong with it?” He tilted his head in confusion.
“Uh…” Terry scratched his cheek. He then shouted at Illis, “Why are you still standing there?Didn’t I tell you to continue training after you’ve recovered?!”
“Eh?” Illis said with shock. “I…I see. I’ll head back to the forest then.” He turned around and walked to the forest gloomily.
Terry saw this and hurriedly ran towards Illis to grab him by the shoulder. Illis felt Terry’s hand on his shoulder and said, “But I thought the training was going to continue?”
“Yes, that’s a given,” Terry nodded. “But scratch the training in the forest part. You’re going to train that technique now.”
“You mean…” Illis’s eyes glowed with excitement.
“Don’t think that I’ll give you some light weights to lift. You’re going to lift weights that are hundreds of times heavier than what normal Animas can lift,” Terry chuckled.
“Are you ready?”
He already owed a debt to his master due to him recovering his memory. So with his newly recovered memories, he gazed at Terry with determination and gave a loud…
“Yes!”
