In a small mansion within Soaring Heavens City.

Shi Li looked at Cai Luiyin seriously. “I’m gonna need your help.”

Cai Luiyin was confused. “Eh? What’s this all of a sudden? Help? Help where?”

Shi Li grabbed her by the shoulders, surprising Cai Luiyin a bit. “I need your help on recovering my memory.”

He removed his hands from her shoulders, and pointed towards his brain. “You do know that I’m lacking here right?”

Cai Luiyin thought about for a while and nodded. “Yeah, you have amnesia. But you did remember a few parts of your memory right?”

Shi Li nodded. “Due to some sort of fortuitous event, I recovered around 25% of my memory. Do you have any idea on how I could recover more of my memory?”

Cai Luiyin pondered for a bit and said, “I don’t know much about recovering memories. But I know something called a Nine Thread Spirit Orchid. Have you tried asking anyone else…like the city leader?”

Shi Li looked at her intently for a while and lightly smiled. “Come with me then Luiyin, we’re going to meet the city leader.”

He then grabbed her by the hand, shocking Luiyin as she was being dragged.

As they walked through the streets, both of them got surprised stares from the onlookers. Slowly, conversations started to pop up through the streets.

“Wait…isn’t that Shi Li?” a voice couldn’t help but ask.

Another voice responded at the question. “That is Shi Li. But we call him Soaring Heaven’s Tyrant!”

“Don’t you remember what he did about 3 months ago?”

“He killed the patriarch of the Hui clan in one blow!”

“He also annihilated a branch of a big clan without even becoming tired!”

“Hey hey, I remembered that he can fly like a dragon!”

“Yeah yeah! Mountains would be crushed with one finger of his!”

Slowly, the conversations about Shi Li started to become more and more exaggerated.

Shi Li looked at Cai Luiyin curiously and asked, “Did I really do those things?”

Cai Luiyin harrumphed at the onlookers. “They’re just exaggerating your deeds. But the first few lines are true though.”

“Heh…I see,” Shi Li nodded. He looked at Cai Luiyin and said, “Hold on tight. We’re going to the city hall in one go.”

Cai Luiyin didn’t know why but she did what she was told. She embraced Shi Li by the waist as her cheeks flushed slightly red.

Shi Li looked at Cai Luiyin and didn’t question the redness on her face. “Are you ready?”

Cai Luiyin nodded slowly. Shi Li smiled as he bent his legs to a right angle. He then activated all of his force multiplier and his Flowing Heavens technique.

Slowly, an oppressive aura started to emanate out of Shi Li, making everyone that looked at him go to the sides of the streets.

Seeing this, he couldn’t help but chuckle. “Here we go!”

In an instant, the both of them were gone, shocking everyone.

An onlooker couldn’t help but blurt out, “I told he could fly like a dragon!”

Soaring Heavens City Hall

The city lord was having fun with the two beauties beside him until one of his attendants rushed in and opened the door.

“Lord, lord, I have something urgent to…” the attendant saw the sight and closed the door immediately. “Take your time, m-m-milord!”

The city lord frowned a bit as he fixed himself up. The two beauties beside her fixed themselves up as well. ‘My fun time…why?!’

He sat on his chair with his back straight as he coughed lightly. “You can now enter.”

The attendant opened the door slowly, examining the room before sighing in relief. “Milord, I have something urgent to tell you!”

The city lord raised one of his eyebrows. “Hm? What could be urgent at this point?”

The attendant took a deep breath and shouted, “Shi Li is awake!”

The city lord stood up as he slammed both of his hands onto the table. The table shattered into tiny pieces as he looked at the attendant seriously. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? When did he wake up?”

The attendant respectfully replied, “Shi Li was awake-”

Suddenly, a voice interrupted the attendant. “I was awake for a few days now.”

Hearing the voice, the city lord slowly turned around and looked at the silhouette with shock.

The silhouette was actually two people. A man standing on the window sill while a woman embraced the man tight, making sure that she won’t fall. These were Shi Li and Cai Luiyin.

Shi Li grabbed Cai Luiyin by the waist, and lifted her up to put her on the floor. Shi Li stepped forward and looked at the city lord intently.

The city lord was speechless. “H-H-How could you get up here with no problem? This is the third floor, you know?!”

Shi Li shrugged. “Three floors are nothing to me.”

He then stepped forward, making the city lord step back in fear. “Anyways, I need your help in obtaining something.”

The city lord stood up straight and took a deep breath to compose himself. He looked at Shi Li and said, “What thing is it?”

Shi Li replied with four words, “Nine Thread Spirit Orchid.”

The city lord gasped in shock. “How do you know about that herb?”

Shi Li pointed at Cai Luiyin. “Well, she told me about it.”

The city lord looked at her and understood. “I see, it makes sense. Well, follow me then. We’re going see the best alchemist of Soaring Heavens City.”

He then walked towards the door and looked at the both of them. “Aren’t you coming with me?”

Shi Li at Cai Luiyin looked at the city lord and hurriedly followed.

As they walked towards the alchemist, Shi Li looked at Cai Luiyin and asked, “What’s an alchemist?”

Cai Luiyin slightly widened her eyes in shock. “You don’t know what an alchemist is? They’re the ones who innovate and create medicine that’s multiple times more effective than normal medicine.”

Shi Li recalled then nodded as he chuckled weirdly. “Haha. Yeah, yeah, sure.”
