Wei Zilun nodded and gave 5 qi crystals to the attendant. “I need 3 of them as soon as possible. I’m sure the amount I gave is enough as payment right?”

The attendant nodded repeatedly. “Yes, yes, yes! 5 mid-grade qi crystals shall suffice!” The attendant went towards the cashier and gave the qi crystals. It then went towards the backdoor to grab what the city lord needed.

The city lord looked at Cai Luiyin and couldn’t help but chuckle awkwardly. Seconds later, he sighed dejectedly. “I may be the city lord, but I couldn’t even protect a clan. I’m sorry about what happened to the clan.”

Cai Luiyin heard this and frowned a bit. But in the end, she sighed as well. “It’s not your fault at all. If you have to blame it on someone, blame on that Hui Fuming. He started all of it.”

She continued, “With me being alive, at least the blood of the Cai clan shall live on.”

The city lord looked at her face filled with determination and smiled lightly. “I guess you’re right. Anyway, do you need any medicine? For cultivation or anything else perhaps?”

Cai Luiyin responded, “Just a few Withering Leaves and some Frost Orbs.”

The city lord nodded and asked another attendant to get Cai Luiyin’s supplies.

A few minutes later, two attendants came up to the city lord to give what he needed. Wei Zilun then looked at the both of them, to only chuckle slightly. “Don’t hesitate, grab the medicine. Think of it as a gift from me.”

Shi Li and Cai Luiyin looked at each other and nodded. They then grabbed the things the city lord offered them and kept it in their space bags.

“Oh? Well if it isn’t Zilun!” a melodious voice rang out, reaching the three’s ears in an instant.

Looking at the voice’s direction, the city lord’s eyes widened as he smiled happily. “Well, well, well. Huafei, you still look as beautiful as ever.”

Shi Li and Cai Luiyin couldn’t help but stare at the woman in front of them. Her irises were turquoise blue in colour, complementing her ash blonde hair that reached below her back. Her body was curvaceous at all the right places, making any man stare at her in surprise.

Her lips were rosy-red, making anyone tempted to kiss it. With the aura of warmth surrounding her, anyone would feel at ease with her.

The city lord snapped his fingers to wake up both of them from their daze and coughed. “This is Qin Huafei, the best alchemist in Soaring Heavens City.”

Huafei responded with a light chuckle. “Zilun, you jest. I’m just a Gold tier alchemist at most. Anyways, let us go up to the fourth floor.”

Following Qin Huafei onto a lift, they were slowly being brought up to the fourth floor.

On the lift, Shi Li couldn’t help but look at Qin Huafei and ask, “Madam Qin, what does a Gold tier alchemist signify?”

Qin Huafei recalled certain information and then explained to Shi Li, “An alchemist, as you know concocts medicine and pills that help everyone. You also know that the same medicine could have a different effect when crafted by different people. This is why there are different grades, as they signify the prowess of the alchemist.”

She continued, “There are ten alchemist grades, but I only remember five. These grades are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. A Gold tier alchemist may be the third lowest grade, but a Gold tier alchemist is comparable to a thousand Bronze grade alchemists combined in terms of prowess.”

She then smiled lightly. “Does that answer your question, Mr. Shi Li?”

Shi Li nodded. “Thank you for explaining.”

Qin Huafei sensed that they were at the top floor of the pagoda. “Well, we’re here.”

Using her qi to bring in 3 chairs, she sat on her chair as she looked at three as they sat. “So Zilun, what brings you here with Mr. Shi Li?”

Wei Zilun became serious and said, “Huafei, these two are going to need the Nine Thread Spirit Orchid.”

Qin Huafei stood up in shock. “You do know how long it would take to craft them right?”

Wei Zilun nodded. “I know. That’s why I’m here to help. Just help me out.”

Qin Huafei looked at the city lord’s pleading face and sighed. “Fine. We shall set out later at night.”
