Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 80

Hello there, Truedawn here.

I’ve been writing Great Tyrannical Deity for over 2 months now. You’ve seen Shi Li grow from a cultivator at the measly realm of Muscular Refinement Stage 2, to having the strength of a bona fide Dao Path cultivator.

Slowly, more and more people liked it, allowing me to enter the top 100 ranks. I felt really happy seeing that people actually like something I made.

Before volume 1 ended, I sensed that Shi Li was growing a bit too fast at this pace, considering that being at the second realm, he could already beat sixth realm cultivators. So in came the plot twist that changed the ranking of my novel forever, the coma.

Most of the commenters were all like ‘Wtf happened?’ or ‘why did you do this?’, but I still continued, hoping that everyone would understand.

I continued on with my chapters, with the intent of explaining it all in the end (somewhat spoiler), but slowly people dropped it, and it’s now where it is, below the top 100.

To be honest I’m getting tired of writing. School has been eating my time, giving me less time to write, resulting in mediocre quality chapters that are also unedited.

The plot that I wanted to convey was there, but the soul and life wasn’t there at all.

I even asked myself, ‘Do people still care about my novel?’

Before you think that this is some sort of prank, this isn’t. Call it a reminder of some sort to you, the readers.

Us authors continue to write our stories on the path we had in mind. We accept suggestions as it could be better in the long run. But if ever the author decides to pull a plot twist on the same level as mine, or higher, just remember to stick with the story.

There will always be a reason why the author did this thing. Either it may be to spice up the story, or to keep the suspense higher.

Just remember to keep sticking.

But I sense that, you guys are slowly losing interest in my novel. To the other readers out there, please comment if you still think this novel is worth continuing.

P.S. The next chapter is still in the works as I got stuck on part, my apologies there. By the time it gets finished, this rant shall be replaced with the chapter.
