Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 82
Transcending Skies Arena.
‘Damn it Maxwell, you didn’t really have to push me you know,’ he muttered inwardly as he walked towards the stage.
As he walked, the audience cheered for Illis, as he always brought a surprise in every round he was in. In the audience’s minds, Illis was the greatest surprise in the tournament.
On another corner of the arena, multiple muscular men were cheering for a participant that had the same body type as them.
“Go for it Asura!”
“You can crush that puny opponent!”
“Nothing can stand in your way!”
The participant was Asura, who was currently walking towards the stage. ‘Damn, you guys are so supportive!’ he thought.
As he continued to walk, he looked back and shouted, “I’ll win this one for you guys!”
Illis looked at Asura and bowed. “May we have a good fight.”
Asura looked at Illis and chuckled. “So you’re the so-called dark horse of the tournament, eh?”
Taking a few steps closer, he leaned towards Illis’ face and shouted, “I’ll remove the dark horse here and now!”
Illis frowned a bit and then smirked in an instant. “Heh…trash talking before a fight. Great way to intimidate your opponent.”
Illis then took a few steps backward, making the gap as wide as it was before. “Fulfill it to the end then! We’ll see if you truly defeat me!”
The Gold Body Anima supervising over the two took a deep breath and shouted, “May the fight”
“Begin!”
In a flash, both of them charged at each other, with their fists clenched, eager to land a blow.
Illis stopped when he was only a few centimeters away from Asura and landed a punch on Asura’s stomach, to which Asura responded with a sidestep.
Asura then hurriedly ran towards Illis’ back as he condensed his strength to strike at Illis’ spine.
Illis was caught off-guard and went flying as he rotated many times in the air. Seconds later, he landed on his feet as he looked grimly at Asura.
He then wiped off the dust from his clothes and ran towards Asura, hoping to land a blow again.
Asura saw this and smirked. He raised one of his fists in the air and controlled all of his blood to converge within that single fist.
Gradually, the fist got redder and redder, with veins bulging all over. In the end, the fist looked extremely grotesque.
He looked at Illis and ran towards him with the fist still in the air.
Illis saw this and couldn’t help but be shocked. ‘That’s…really gross.’
At the point the two of them only had a gap of a meter between them, Asura swung his fist down towards Illis’ head.
“[Blood Cloud Smash]!”
Illis ducked as he rolled past Asura, dodging the fist. He then ran away from Asura, trying to buy himself some time.
Asura looked at this with confusion and asked himself, ‘What is this guy going to do?’
Illis turned around to look at Asura as he took a deep breath. He then shouted, “[Tyrant’s Roar: Attack Boost]!”
Within seconds, a faint crimson aura covered Illis’ body. A small yet sharp killing intent was also imbued in the aura as well, bringing Illis’ ferociousness to a higher level.
Illis then roared loudly as he dashed towards Asura, seemingly unable to contain all of the killing intent within his body.
Asura shivered in fear as he heard this. ‘Wait…me shivering from a measly roar? That’s not like me!’
Asura slapped himself in the face and then bent his knees into a 90 degree angle. “Come at me with your full strength!”
Illis heard what Asura said and proceeded to run faster, passing through ten meters in an instant.
He clenched his fist as he punched out towards Asura’s body.
Asura’s eyes widened from the shock. He didn’t expect that Illis’ fist was actually stronger than what he thought. As a consequence, he was sent flying towards the barrier, and fell face flat on the floor.
The Gold Body Anima saw this and rushed towards Asura, only to stop midway as Asura slowly stood up.
“Man” Asura shook his body to remove the dirt. “That was actually stronger than I thought.”
He then took a deep breath as he said, “You leave me no choice but use that.”
Asura removed his shirt, revealing a firm and well-toned upper body. Slowly, shrieks could be heard coming from his body as it ever grew longer.
Intricate carvings started to pop up all over his body, making the audience jump up in excitement.
“Here it comes!”
“He shall awaken yet again!”
“The Blood Controller!”
Illis looked at Asura with curiosity. He then smirked. ‘Finally, we can now see which bloodline is better.’
Illis didn’t even bother attacking as he waited for Asura to finish. A few minutes later, the transformation was complete, revealing an Asura covered in blood red carvings.
Asura looked at Illis and said, “You should be honored to force me to use my bloodline.”
“Now, you shall admit defeat.”
Illis couldn’t help but laugh as he replied, “Defeat? That’s not in my dictionary.”
Asura harrumphed as he condensed his blood onto his fist. This time, rather than the blood converging inside the fist, the blood covered the fist as it hardened, creating a glossy dark red armor over Asura’s fist.
Asura then charged towards Illis as he punched out.
“[Super Blood Fist]!”
Illis looked at this with a calm gaze as his blood started to circulate faster. The muscles on his body became more defined as his veins widened. His height slowly increased at the same time Illis’ eyes were bloodshot.
A hiss could be heard, coming from Illis’ head as it was steam evaporating. Illis was now…in his Berserker mode.
Within Illis’ mind.
Illis’ consciousness looked at the voice beside him and said, “Hey, you should control my body now. I’m gonna need your help on this.”
The voice beside him sighed. “I have a name you know. Call me Bere at least.” The voice then took control of Illis’ body in an instant, starting the bloodline transformation process.
Bere then looked at Illis’ consciousness as he asked, “Want me to end it in one go?”
Illis’ consciousness pondered for a bit and replied, “You know what, I’ll come close to you and I’ll tell you what you need to do.”
The fist Asura sent gradually got closer and closer towards Illis’ face.
Illis then took a step backward as he grabbed the fist, stopping it in place. Afterwards, he squeezed on the fist, breaking the dark red armor covering it.
Asura was dumbfounded from the sight. The audience was also dumbfounded from the sight. All they had in their mind was a loud
“Eh?”
Illis looked at this with indifference and yawned. He then lifted Asura up as if he was weightless.
Seconds later, Asura was brought back down. Illis did this by just holding on Asura’s hand.
Not long later, Illis released his grasp from Asura’s hand and punched towards Asura’s face, only stopping just a few millimeters in front of Asura’s face.
Asura felt a sharp wind blowing on his face, which died out in an instant. A second later, a sonic boom could be heard behind his back, which made Asura’s teeth chatter.
Illis then retracted his fist as he asked Asura coldly, “Do you want to continue the fight?”
Asura heard the question and hurriedly retracted his bloodline. He then furiously shook his head. “No, no, no, not at all!”
“I-I concede!”
Silence.
That’s what the audience did at the moment.
The Gold Body Anima looked at this with shock as he announced, “Illis has won the fight!”
Terry looked at Illis’ current physique and couldn’t help but slap himself in the face.
“I forgot that he was able to use that!”
Maxwell and Dane looked at Terry and muttered out an
“Eh?”
Hey, Truedawn here.
