The patriarch looked at the man in front of him. “So did you get any information on Shi Li?”

The man nodded. “Shi Li was born in the small Verdant Breeze Town, but a town wasn’t enough to contain him. His latest achievements were killing a branch of a big clan, and wiping out over 5,000 members of another clan.”

The patriarch raised one of his eyebrows. “How strong is the clan that had its 5,000 members wiped out?”

The man respectfully replied, “Their patriarch is only a Dao Path realm cultivator, which Shi Li killed.”

The patriarch had a bitter taste on his mouth. “I commend that this Shi Li has been able to kill a Dao Path realm, but the other people he killed as just ants in front of my eyes!”

Pondering for a bit, the patriarch realized something. “You said were right? Do you mean that this Shi Li is dead?”

The man shook his head. “That is not the case, Patriarch. Shi Li has fallen into a coma after killing that clan’s patriarch.”

The patriarch rubbed his chin. “I see. So is the any reason as to why he fell into a coma?”

The man nodded as he explained, “That is correct, Patriarch. Our reports say that this Shi Li drank some sort of elixir a few days before the fight with that patriarch.”

“An elixir?” The patriarch muttered. In an instant, he extended his aura to thousands of kilometers away, just barely reaching Shi Li’s body.

‘Hmm’ The patriarch examined Shi Li’s body for a while, only to be shocked.

‘So that’s how it is! That’s the reason why he fell into a coma!’ The patriarch grinned.

The patriarch looked at the man and commanded, “Thank you. Now leave the room at once.”

The man bowed. “Yes, Patriarch.” The man then left the room, leaving the patriarch alone.

After double checking that no one was around, the patriarch brought out a crystal that was pitch black in hue. Its shape was in a crescent, with both ends being sharp.

He then imbued his qi within the crystal and waited for a few minutes to get a response.

“Hello? Who’s this?” a voice asked.

The patriarch happily responded, “Cousin, it’s me!”

The voice then exclaimed, “No way! It’s actually you that called me!”

“So what’s the matter? You calling me through the black crystal must mean that it’s important right?”

The patriarch replied, “That’s the case. I need you to kill someone for me.”

The voice asked, “Is that someone within my world?”

“Well yes, surprisingly. Send out your strongest genius against the guy. I think his name is Illis?”

“Don’t worry, cousin. I’ll do as you say. He’ll be killed at once.”

“Thanks, cousin. I’ll come over tomorrow there to hang out with you.”

“Hehe. I’ll be waiting.”

The patriarch cut off the connection with the voice from the crystal.

Looking far away, he chuckled. “How would this Shi Li fare after I kill the guy?”

Transcending Skies Arena.

The final fight is near. All of the pillars have been retracted, leaving a giant space for the final two participants to fight on.

Leon looked at his list that only have two participants remaining. He took a deep breath as he looked at Illis and Tian Auria.

He then announced, “The fifth and final round of the duels shall now begin!”

“May B-4…no wait.”

“May Illis and Tian Auria come to the stage!”

The audience stood up and cheered like no tomorrow for the two. Since it was the last fight, they might as well go out in cheering.

Illis stood up from his seat as he looked at the three. He grinned as he walked towards the stage. “I’ll bring back a victory for you to see!”

Tian Auria stood up from his seat and calmly walked towards the stage.

In an instant, the audience was silent. Tian Auria and Illis faced each other with killing intent in their eyes.

They had the same goal in their minds, to go and defeat their opponent.

Leon walked towards the Gold Body Anima in charge of supervising and said, “Let me handle this one.”

The Gold Body Anima nodded and let Leon do his work. Taking a deep breath, Leon shouted, “Let the fight begin!”

Tian Auria unsheathed his swords as Illis clenched both of his fists. They charged towards each other, with the intent of dealing a killing blow.

Illis punched towards Tian Auria’s face, which Tian Auria redirected with a sweep of his sword.

Tian Auria then lunged forward and tried to pierce through Illis’ heart. Illis noticed this and exerted all of his strength to vanish in front of Tian Auria.

Tian Auria looked around his surroundings, trying to find where Illis could be. Suddenly, a voice muttered out above him, “I’m here!”

Illis was up in the air and adjusted his leg to hit Tian Auria. As he fell, he got faster and faster until his legs slightly glowed red from the friction with the air.

Tian Auria made his swords form an X shape in front of him, and blocked the kick that was meant to hit him.

Illis landed on the ground and looked at Tian Auria. “Man, you’re really good!”

Tian Auria looked back at Illis and replied, “Less talking, more fighting.”

As they continued to fight, neither one got an edge over the other. They were even in terms of combat power.

Whenever Tian Auria tried to slash at Illis, Illis would seem to dodge it and retaliate back with a punch.

Whenever Illis tried to punch at Tian Auria, Tian Auria would block it with one of his swords and retaliate back with a slash.

So far, both of them have light scratches and bruises all over their body, yet the fire in the eyes didn’t die out.

Tian Auria raised both of his swords up as he tried to slash down to hit Illis.

Illis saw the flaw behind his attack and grinned as he vanished.

Tian Auria realized what he has done and couldn’t help but exclaim, “Oh no!”

Illis activated his bloodline and [Tyrant’s Roar: Attack Boost], boosting his attack power to a higher level.

Raising his fist up in the air, he striked down at Tian Auria’s back as he said coldly, “You lose!”

Rather than shivering in fear, Tian Auria instantly turned around and smiled at Illis.

“No, you lose!”

All of a sudden, the aura around Tian Auria’s body became stronger and stronger. The silver threads compressed themselves, turning into molten gold strings that shrouded his body.

Yet it didn’t stop there.

The gold strings converged together right above his head and exploded into a metallic ball of light. The light emanated from the metallic seemed harmless, yet it brought waves of suppression to anyone who looked at it.

One of the audience couldn’t help but gasp. “Tian Auria isn’t actually a Silver Body Anima!”

“He has been hiding his true strength all this time?!”

“Tian Auria is a Platinum Body Anima! A Platinum Body I tell ya!”

Tian Auria didn’t mind all of this as he blocked the punch Illis was going to give him with no problem.

Flicking it away, he then made a cross slash with both of his swords.

Tian Auria couldn’t help but chuckled in the midst of this.

“I shall finally fulfill Matriarch’s orders.”

“Illis, go die!”
