Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 89
“A Dao Spirit Body?” Illis tilted his head as he didn’t know what it was.
Qin Huafei couldn’t help but exclaim, “Y-you’ve reached the peak of your Dao path?!”
The man faced Qin Huafei and stared at her body for a few seconds. He licked his lips as he chuckled. “That’s right. The Enlightenment Orchid is the only thing separating me from the Grand Dao realm.”
Wei Zilun, who Qin Huafei was healing, stood up as he held onto his sword tightly while he looked at the man.
“Then why did you have to hit me? I even told you that we didn’t want a fight to happen.”
The man looked at Wei Zilun and frowned. ‘Seems like I won’t be able to kill two birds with one stone.’
“The reason why I hit you was that the orchid is of utmost importance to me,” the man replied.
He then pointed towards Qin Huafei and Cai Luiyin. “Other than that, I want those two ladies to become my attendants.”
Hearing that Qin Huafei was going to become someone’s attendant, Wei Zilun’s aura intensified.
He gritted his teeth as he charged towards the man.
“I won’t let you do that!”
Gradually, a manifestation of the boundless sky encompassed his sword. The sun and moon revolved around the sword, bringing it immeasurable weight as the stars and clouds supported the celestial bodies, strengthening the sword’s attacking power.
“Take this! [Duality Sovereign Blade]!”
With a slash, the sword landed on the man’s body. The man smiled at Wei Zilun at first, but as time passed, he became shocked. The sword held an energy that would pierce through anything as long as there was enough time. The man could even sense that the plants around his body were being destroyed at a fast pace.
The man took a few steps back as he commanded all of his plants to converge towards his palm. Slowly, the plants covering his body were disappearing, leaving a muscular body as a leaves covered all of his special parts.
He looked at Wei Zilun and said, “Not bad. To think that someone at the intermediate stage of the Dao Path realm can actually affect me, Xin Shanzhong.”
The plants all on his palm combined into one, forming a spear that was green in color, exuding an aura that felt like anything touched by the spear would return to nature.
With both of his hands gripping firmly on the plant spear, he dashed towards Wei Zilun as he jumped upwards.
Wei Zilun tried to retaliate, but felt that something was suppressing him.
Xin Shanzhong smiled. “You can’t fight back. This attack only has one outcome for the enemy.”
“Death.”
“[Mortal Reformation Genesis]!”
The spear’s tip glowed bright white, giving a feeling of anything that touches it would be vaporized into smithereens, turning into ashes and becoming one with nature.
The spear got closer and closer to Wei Zilun’s head as Wei Zilun closed his eyes, fearing his death.
‘I’m useless! I can’t even fight back!’
‘I’m sorry, Huafei. I guess I won’t be able to confess to you.’
Seconds later, the feeling of death still hasn’t hit Wei Zilun, making him confused. As he opened his eyes, shock and delight filled his eyes.
The spear’s tip was being held by two fingers, unable to move. Xin Shanzhong frowned. “Who dares block my spear?”
All of a sudden, a chilling aura appeared behind him as a voice replied.
“Me.”
Shi Li raised his fist as layers upon layers of qi fists appeared above it. As this happened, an extremely pure and condensed form of qi started to appear between the qi fists, connecting all of the fists into one.
“[Grand Qi Force], special movement, [Annihilation Fist: Phantasmagoric Century]!”
As he shot it out, the fists combined into a single fist, holding boundless amounts of power as it collided with Xin Shanzhong.
Xin Shanzhong summoned his Dao Spirit Body to protect him from the attack
But it was of no use.
The fist pierced through the Dao Spirit Body like a butter knife slicing through butter, breaking it into pieces.
It continued to head towards Xin Shanzhong, sending Xin Shanzhong flying with his spear a few kilometers away.
Seconds later, Shi Li muttered out a single word.
“Burst.”
An explosion rang throughout the forest, the light blinding the four even though the explosion happened a few kilometers away.
Shi Li looked at the three and said, “Let’s go and check if the man is still alive.”
“Damn it”
Xin Shanzhong slowly stood up as he gritted his teeth. His current state is a great contrast to his state a while ago. Blood seeped out of his mouth as most of his skin was charred black. A scent of flesh burning lingered on his nose as he walked step by step.
“When I recover”
“I’ll get you four someday”
He muttered these statements out as he felt that they wouldn’t search for him at his pitiful state.
“Get us someday for what?” A voice replied to his statements.
Hearing a familiar tone, Xin Shanzhong turned around. Outside his expectations, the four he wanted to kill stood in front of him.
He froze in place, unable to mutter out another word.
“I-I-I”
He tried to speak out yet a sword slash cut off his head before he could finish.
“Just die already.”
Wei Zilun looked at Xin Shanzhong with anger, which slowly turned into solemnity as he knew Xin Shanzhong was dead. He wiped off the blood as he placed his sword back into the space bag.
The headless body of Xin Shanzhong fell to the ground while the head still had the look of shock and disbelief all over it. Previously a person with great combat power, now laid on the ground with his head cut off.
Qin Huafei came closer to the corpse and got Xin Shanzhong’s space bag. Rummaging for a bit, she brought out an orchid for everyone to see.
She smiled as she looked at the four. “We now have the Enlightenment Orchid. Let’s go back.”
Over a week later.
The four of them stood on the highest floor of the Kongfei Medicine Pavillion. Qin Huafei looked at Shi Li and Cai Luiyin with seriousness.
“Are you ready?”
Without hesitation, they nodded. Qin Huafei grabbed something out of her space bag and brought it out. It was a cauldron.
“Hehe. This is the Dragon Condensation Cauldron, a low Dao grade treasure,” she said softly.
She looked at Wei Zilun as the latter nodded. Wei Zilun grabbed something out of his space bag and brought out the orchid, giving it to Qin Huafei.
Using her qi to cover the orchid, Qin Huafei took a deep breath.
“Well then.”
“Let us begin.”
