With the help of her qi, Qin Huafei placed the Orchid inside the cauldron. She then created qi flames under the cauldron which heated it up.

Shi Li looked at this and asked, “Wouldn’t the orchid get destroyed with this much heat?”

Qin Huafei shook his head as she continued to check on the orchid. “That’s not the case. The Enlightenment Orchid needs a long time before it gets destroyed by the heat. Before that happens, we’re just extracting its medicinal properties.”

Shi Li nodded and sat cross-legged as he waited for the Nine Thread Spirit Orchid to be created.

Minutes passed by, a fragrant scent spread throughout the room, making Wei Zilun, Cai Luiyin, and Shi Li get intoxicated from the smell.

Before they were able to inhale any further, Qin Huafei hurriedly reprimanded, “Don’t inhale the scent! It accumulates within your lungs and solidifies. Circulate your qi to remove the toxins that entered your body.”

The three of them followed and started to circulate their qi, removing the toxins they inhaled. Afterwards, they didn’t dare to breathe at all, but rather breathed through their qi.

Half an hour later, a golden liquid started to seep out of the orchid, making Qin Huafei excited.

“The Essence of Enlightenment!”

Instead of hurriedly putting other medicinal ingredients into the cauldron, she waited for more drops of the golden liquid to seep out, making sure that the final result would be extremely potent.

Half a day later, 5 drops of the golden liquid surrounded the Enlightenment Orchid which was now shriveled up.

Qin Huafei used her qi to remove the husk of the orchid carefully. She then transmitted a message to Shi Li.

“You’re the one who needs it. I’m going to make it now.”

Shi Li, who received the message, opened his eyes and stood up as he came closer to Qin Huafei.

He then looked down the cauldron and saw the 5 drops of golden liquid.

“This is?”

“Essence of Enlightenment extracted from the orchid,” Qin Huafei hurriedly replied.

She waved her hands as she created hand seals that made the drops float in mid-air.

Seeing that the drops were fixed in place, she used her qi to grab the medicinal ingredients needed for the concoction.

“A stalk of Grand Yang Grass”

“A petal from the Iridescent Luminescence Flower”

“Three drops of a Golden Eagle’s blood”

“A wisp of a Tundra Snake’s venom”

The list of items went on and on until she finally looked at Shi Li and said, “Do you still have those Soul Rousing Fruits Wei Zilun bought you?”

Shi Li’s eyes widened slightly as he nodded. He then grabbed the fruit from his space bag. With a wry smile, he said, “I ate 2 of the Soul Rousing Fruits Wei Zilun bought for me. There’s only this one left.”

Qin Huafei enveloped the fruit with her qi as she replied, “That’s not a problem. One fruit is enough for this.”

With all of the ingredients in the center, Qin Huafei waved her hand towards Shi Li, signalling him to come closer.

“Now, take a look at how it’s done.”

In an instant, all of the ingredients she brought in turned into powder. The medicinal powders then headed towards the 5 drops of golden liquid, making the individual drops flash different colors of light.

The drops then converged towards the center and settled down into the cauldron. The combination of ingredients turned into vapor once it touched the searing hot cauldron.

Shi Li couldn’t help but exclaim, “The medicine failed!”

Qin Huafei looked at him and smiled. “Is that what you think?”

At the last minute, she grabbed nine thin golden branches with her qi and placed it in the middle of the vapor.

Unexpectedly, the branches started to suck the vapor in, shocking Shi Li in the process.

“Is this the intended procedure on making the Nine Thread Spirit Orchid?”

Qin Huafei nodded her head. “That is correct. The vapor gets absorbed by the branches and the branches fuse together into the Nine Thread Spirit Orchid.”

After she explained the process, an orchid of seven colors laid on the cauldron. Its petals looked fragile as if they would shatter on the first touch. Its stem was golden as if it was made from pure gold.

Qin Huafei then used her qi to give the orchid to Shi Li.

Shi Li looked at the orchid for a bit before facing Qin Huafei.

“What do I do with it?”

As Qin Huafei was tidying up stuff, she replied, “Just infuse your qi into it.”

Shi Li couldn’t believe that it was that simple, but he tried it anyway. As he infused the qi into the orchid, a sudden outburst of energy came from the orchid and headed straight towards Shi Li’s brain.

He thought that the energy had gone rampant with its movements, but seeing what it was doing within his brain, he let out a sigh of relief.

The energy from the orchid dissipated all of the fog it came across, letting Shi Li recover more and more memories.

As he continued to recover his memories, a voice came out from nowhere.

“Master?”

“Master, are you there?”

“Hello?”

Shi Li went through his memories and afterwards, exclaimed in surprise.

“Xiao Hei?!”

Xiao Hei, who was currently in his mind replied with excitement, “Yes Master! It is I, Xiao Hei!”

“I was worried that you might get stuck in an eternal coma after doing that thing!” Xiao Hei babbled on.

“What thing?” Shi Li asked as he still hasn’t recovered all of his memories.

“You don’t know? Ah wait…you just recovered half of your memory. I see,” Xiao Hei mumbled as it tried to reveal most of what Shi Li has done.

“Master, do you feel as if something is pulling on your brain?”

“Eh?” Shi Li was dumbfounded. He checked his brain, and there he felt a tugging feeling from the back of his brain.

Noticing this, he asked Xiao Hei. “What does that have to do with anything?”

Xiao Hei replied, “Try to send qi into that spot. Make sure that your qi has a message on it.”

Shi Li calmed himself down and started to form qi strands that held messages. After a while, he sent them towards the spot where he felt the tugging feeling.

“Now what?” Shi Li asked Xiao Hei.

Xiao Hei respectfully replied, “Master, we wait for the other side to reply. And I’m sure that he can answer all you want to know.”

Within a forest in another world.

Terry looked at the skies out of the window until suddenly, his door was slammed open by Illis.

Terry frowned. “What’s wrong, Illis?”

Illis panted for a bit before he replied, “Master, I can hear some voice calling for me.”

Terry hurriedly came closer to Illis and channeled his aura to the spot where Illis felt the tugging feeling.

“Hello?”

“Can anyone hear me?”

Terry heard these words and then replied afterwards.

“Yes, I do. What do you want to know?”

The other side went silent for a bit but then sent another message out.

“I can feel something pulling on the back of my brain, can you explain why it’s happening?”

Terry explained, “That’s because you’re connected to another body.”

“Is the other body a different person?”

Terry shook his head. “Looking at your appearance, it does not seem the case. In fact, you two look pretty much the same.”

The voice was shocked. “Can I see?”

Terry replied with a happy tone, “Of course you can. Just use your qi to see the surroundings.”

The voice followed what Terry said and was left dumbfounded. The voice saw Terry and Illis standing in the middle of a small room.

“I assume that the old man is talking to me?” the voice asked.

Terry coughed a bit before replying, “Yes. I’m the master of the other body, Terry Crews.”

He continued, “Well I could say that I’m your master too.”

The voice was perplexed. “How so?”

“I can teach you many things about qi manipulation. And also”

“I know about the [Art of True Omnipotence].”

Hearing Terry’s reply, the voice hurriedly replied, “Shi Li acknowledges Master! Shi Li acknowledges Master!”

Terry couldn’t help but chuckle. “That’s enough. I’ll explain everything to you once I get to your world.”

The voice which was Shi Li’s, respectfully replied, “I shall be waiting then, Master.”

Afterwards, there was no more voice to be heard from the other side, signifying that Shi Li was gone.

Illis looked at Terry and asked, “Who was that?”

Terry sighed. “Your original body.”

Illis took a step back. He couldn’t believe it. “My original body?”

Terry placed his hands over Illis’ shoulders as he said, “This is the secret that I wanted to tell you at the arena.”

“Illis…you’re just a clone.”

Well all things aside, volume 3 shall be entitled Shocking the World.

Who is the main focus? Our main character Shi Li of course! And he’s gonna shock the world.

Expect some good fight scenes, and some broken combat power (we all know Shi Li is the one going to do that.)
