Great Tyrannical Deity - Chapter 93
In a remote desert.
It took Terry and Shi Li one hour of running at their maximum speed to get here. Shi Li looked at Terry as he panted. “Master, what are we doing here?”
Terry stabilized his breath before answering. “Well, we can’t open a spatial gate within the city now can we?”
“Aren’t we going to fly there or something? Why are we going through a spatial gate?” Shi Li wanted to know why.
Terry scratched his head as he wryly chuckled. “Well, Master wants to do things quickly rather than waiting for it to come.”
He then looked towards the sky as he shouted, “Master, we would like to meet you!”
In an instant, a giant lightning bolt struck the desert. It was a bright white hue, exuding an aura of destruction and chaos.
As the lightning bolt dissipated, a gate that lead to the uncertain void appeared in front of them.
“Enter the gate,” a voice ordered.
Shi Li shivered as he heard the voice. The voice held a terrifying aura that was extremely oppressive in nature.
Terry looked back at Shi Li and saw his predicament. He grabbed hold of Shi Li’s hand as he said, “Master is like that. He wants to remove all chances of sudden attacks with these things. You’ll get used to it.”
“Come with me,” Terry said as they walked through the gate.
Yan clan.
“Patriarch, we finally got a report from the ambush. Sadly, Yan Qiu and Yan Xiu was killed by Shi Li around 2 months ago,” an attendant respectfully said.
The Yan patriarch sighed as he waved his hand. “Go and compensate their families with 500 low-grade qi crystals. Also, allow their families to enter the sacred qi land for 6 months. Make sure that they can only enter the land with twice the qi density.”
The attendant trembled with shock from those words but he slowly calmed down and nodded with a firm gaze. “I shall do as you say, Patriarch.”
The attendant hastily went towards the door and left the Yan patriarch alone in the room. The Yan patriarch looked out of the window and shook his head.
“I could still bear the loss of a branch, but Commander Tianshi is still too much of a loss. With only me supervising the whole Yan clan in this world, I need to preserve as much of the clan’s strength as possible.”
As he said that, a loud roar was heard throughout the whole Yan clan, shocking everyone.
“A Chaos Bolt? Who did that?” The Yan patriarch became alert as he not only heard the crashing thunder, but also felt the destruction and chaos within it.
Without hesitation, he extended his qi throughout the whole Yan clan and going even further, reaching a barren desert.
There he saw two men, a middle-aged man and
“Shi Li!” the Yan patriarch gasped in shock.
Seeing that the both of them were passing through a spatial gate, the Yan patriarch hurriedly retracted his qi as drops of cold sweat flowed down through his face.
“A Chaos Bolt…Shi Li…This only means that Shi Li found a master that could guide him” the Yan patriarch deduced the situation through what he saw.
“Shi Li’s master is at an unfathomable realm that I hope I could reach” Knowing this, he sighed.
He sat cross-legged as he set up a soundproof barrier around the room, and closed his eyes.
“Well I should just take it step by step. I just need to break through the Heavenly Dao realm. For now, I won’t mess with Shi Li.”
After passing through the spatial gate, what greeted Shi Li and Terry was a pure white space. Everything was pure white, the walls, the floors, everything.
Right in the center was a middle-aged man that had long flowing silver hair. His body was well-toned with defined muscles, every inch of it screaming intrepid strength. A blade scar ran from his right cheek towards the bottom of his right ear.
Suddenly, the man opened his eyes, revealing pitch black irises that seemed to suck up everything in existence.
The man went closer to the two step by step. Shi Li’s legs shook furiously as he tried to endure the suppressive aura the man was letting out. He activated all of his force multiplier and his flowing Heavens technique…but to no avail.
Only when the man spoke did the aura dissipate. “Are you Shi Li?” The man looked at Shi Li with killing intent.
Shi Li felt the sharp killing intent wanting to cut his body up into tiny pieces but he endured as he nodded. “Y-Yes, I am Shi Li.”
The man stared at Shi Li for a while before letting out a light chuckle. Within a breath of time, the killing intent Shi Li felt was gone.
“My name is Jie Xiuzhen. I don’t like being called Master, so calling me Senior Brother Jie would be fine.”
Shi Li clasped his hands as he bowed down towards Jie Xiuzhen. “Shi Li greets Senior Brother Jie.”
Jie Xiuzhen nodded before turning towards Terry. “Come back here.”
Terry laughed as he entered Jie Xiuzhen’s body. “Alright Master, just call me if you need me!”
Shi Li looked at this and asked, “Do you have a pocket world within you, Senior Brother?”
Jie Xiuzhen scratched his head before replying, “Yes and no. My body is like a pocket world in itself already.”
“I sensed that you have extremely condensed and pure qi within you, Senior Brother. May I ask what realm you’re in?” Shi Li continued to ask questions.
Jie Xiuzhen grinned and stood tall with confidence before replying. “The Immortal realm.”
“Immortal realm? What realm is that?” Shi Li wanted to know.
“Well” Jie Xiuzhen explained, “You do know that after you reach the Tianzui realm, you find a path of understanding and enter the Dao Path realm right?”
He continued, “Well there are more realms after the Dao Path realm, which focuses on you refining your dao closer and closer to perfection.”
“But that’s for another time,” Jie Xiuzhen looked at Shi Li intently.
“I assume you have cultivated the [Art of True Omnipotence]?”
Shi Li nodded. “I have. I’m currently at the second level, Qi Embodying the World.”
After hearing Shi Li’s answer, Jie Xiuzhen sighed in relief. “Thank the heavens that you haven’t gotten that far in cultivating it.”
Shi Li tilted his head in confusion. “What’s wrong, Senior Brother?”
Jie Xiuzhen took a deep breath before he replied.
“The [Art of True Omnipotence] is currently not a perfect cultivation technique.”
