Greek Mythology: I Open a Treasure Chest at Olympus - Chapter 55
“Helios, it’s time for you to stop.”
In the bright light, Apollo said in a low voice.
The endless splendid rays of light tore apart the overwhelming crimson flames, and the huge sun-like fireball in the sky exploded.
The radiant golden light enveloped Delphi.
“Great God of light, you have not forgotten your believers.”
“Praise the light, praise you!”
Staring at the golden figure similar to the statue in front of the temple, the people of Delphi trembled and cheered under the golden light.
Supporting the collapsed Chiron, Thekasha’s eyes remained motionless in the sky.
Looking at the golden figure that was the same as before, crystal tears suddenly appeared in her eyes.
The sound of praise below made Helios’s face distorted, and he stared at the golden figure shrouded in the light with eyes that almost spewed out flames.
“That old thing Oceanus is such a loser that he didn’t even manage to stop you.” He growled low like a maned dog whose tail had been stepped on.
Apollo looked at him calmly and asked, “Why do you want to hurt my believers?”
“Why?” Helios sneered.
He looked down on the mortals below and said in disgust, “Blame these foolish mortals who only know how to believe in you, a hypocrite. I am the sun God, the source of all light, and they should all believe in me!”
“Is that the only reason?” Apollo frowned at Helios, feeling that something was wrong.
After all, Helios was also the leader of the Titans. He participated in the Titan war, stood on the opposite side of Zeus, and retreated intact at the end.
Such a Main God should not be so reckless and unwise.
“Hmph, that’s my reason!” Helios growled, and his face twisted.
Apollo felt that something was wrong, but he knew it wasn’t the time to think about it.
He looked coldly at Helios, and the infinite light bloomed frequently.
The surging divine power was like a torrent drowning Helios.
“It’s good that you came since these people believe in you so much, then I will defeat you in front of them.
I’ll let everyone in the sky and the earth know who is the real Main God! ”
Helios roared loudly, and the divine power pulled the sun into the sky, and the endless light and heat suddenly burst out.
“Domain of light, shatter the void!”
Apollo’s expression was indifferent, and the aurora domain opened up majestically.
In the past thirty years, although he had his main focus on the cultivation of the Etheric Divine Body.
But the bloodline power of the Primordial God level still secretly allowed his divine power to quietly reach the peak of the fifth rank of the Main God.
At this moment, when he activated the Aurora Domain, the power of this domain reached its limit.
It was comparable to the power of the ninth rank of the Main God!
And although Helios was a senior Main God, his divine power barely reached the sixth rank of the Main God.
The kingdom of light rampaged, accompanied by a loud bang.
The light and heat condensed by Helios shattered and dimmed.
Under the gaze of all the citizens of the city-state of Delphi, brilliant light covered Helios’ tall body.
The blazing heat engulfed his body and his spirit.
“No way, this is impossible!”
Helios couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe that he would lose.
And lost so quickly and without suspense.
The sky, the earth, the ocean, and even the underworld, the gods who had been disturbed all over the world, also could not believe it.
They witnessed Apollo defeat Oceanus.
They all understood that with the strength of Helios, it was impossible to be the opponent of Apollo’s terrifying divine body.
But now Apollo didn’t have a close fight with him at all.
He just activated the power of the domain.
And defeated Helios so devastatingly?
The gods couldn’t believe it.
Helios was by no means a weakling. He was the son of the Titans, Hyperion, the God of the sky, and Theia, the Goddess of light.
At the beginning of the Titan war, facing the three Zeus brothers, his performance was not bad, and he was brave and able to fight.
But now, facing the son of Zeus, he was defeated miserably and fast!
Is he too useless, or is his opponent too strong and scary?
The gods gazed at the golden figure shrouded in light with shocked eyes.
The people of Delphi below also looked up at the sky in admiration.
Immediately, they praised the light aloud and recited the honorable name of Apollo.
“Great God of Light, you are the brightest star in the vast sky. You are the Lord of mercy and discernment. Your light will travel in the heaven, earth, sea, and in the hearts of all spirits.”
The sincere prayers made Helios, who was trapped in the infinite light, even more distorted.
“You foolish mortals, the sun is the source of all light and heat in the universe. You should all believe in me, not him!”
He roared hysterically as crimson flames burned from his body as he charged out from the layers of light.
Apollo’s golden eyes flashed, and just as he was about to attack, when a silver-white moonlight struck from the distant sky, blasting away the light around Helios.
Seizing this opportunity, Helios escaped from the shroud of light.
“That’s Helios’ sister, the moon goddess Selene.”
Some of the gods who were secretly watching called out.
Apollo’s golden eyes gazed over, and a wonderful goddess shrouded in soft moonlight appeared beside Helios.
The latter roared slowly, “Why are you only attacking now and making me look ridiculous.”
Selene didn’t expect that the first sentence after his brother swallowed was a question and said aggrieved: “I didn’t expect Apollo to be so powerful, and you lost so fast.”
Her words made Helios’ face even more ugly.
Gritting his teeth and looking at Apollo, he said to his sister, “Come on, use your silver moon power and my sun power and let’s deal with him together.”
The gods in the dark came back to their senses.
“Although Selene is only a second rank Main God when her silver moon power and Helios’ sun power are combined. It’s said that she can condense a trace of Chaotic Divine Power from the legendary Chaotic God, Chaos. It’s enough to resist a ninth-rank Main God.”
On Mount Olympus.
Zeus, who was sitting high in the temple of the King of God, was also full of energy.
Staring closely at the crystal in front of him, he smiled and said, “Apollo, this is why I let Atropos and the others influence Helios. Let him and Selene thoroughly test the bottom line of your strength.”
