After his battle with Anderton, Helios was invited by the tower personnel to the medical bay of the tower for a check-up.

In the tower’s medical bay, Helios was brought to a different room that was beside Anderton’s room.

When Helios was brought by the medical staff, what greeted Helios inside was a woman with ash-gray hair seating in her chair, while wearing a lab coat.

” Hello, I’m Kaly Kanelo, I’m one of the doctors in the Tower of Combat’s medical bay”

She introduces herself.

” I’m Helios Black, nice to meet you doctor Kanelo”

” please call me Kanelo, and don’t add the doctor in my name”

” Ohh, ok Ms. Kanelo”

” also please remove the Ms.”

” ok, Kanelo”

” that’s better,

” Now, you should lay down in that bed over there”

Kanelo instructs Helios as she pointed her index finger at a bed.

Hearing Kanelo’s instructions Helios laid his body into the bed.

Kanelo press a button in the wall that is beside the bed causing medical equipment to start scanning Helios body.

A hologram projection of Helios naked body appeared in front of Kanelo.

Seeing the hologram projection of his naked body, Helios start blushing like a tomato.

Kanelo chuckles seeing Helios reaction.

” You don’t need to be shy”

Kanelo said trying to ease Helios tension, but she can’t keep herself from giggling, causing Helios to blush much harder.

But the moment Helios emotion exceeds a certain amount, the cosmic energy inside of him starts circulating in his head, causing Helios to have a cool and relaxing feeling, as it calms his emotion down.

The hologram also displays what was happening to Helios body, which piques Kanelo interest in his physiology.

” will looks like your body is in top shape, as the scanner didn’t find any damage caused by your battle”

Kanelo said with an expression of someone who just found their favorite toy.

Kanelo reluctantly added, as she still wants to study more about Helios physiology after seeing the display in the hologram projection.

Helios got up from the bed and said his thanks and goodbye to Kanelo.

When Helios got out of the room, he was called by his friends that had just arrived causing Helios to stop from his track.

They ask Helios about his condition, which he told them that he is fine.

While they were talking, Morton that was accompanying Helios’s friends suggested to Helios that he should go to Anderton to remind him about their bet.

Following Morton’s recommendation, Helios went to where Anderton was brought.

The inside a room, Anderton’s body is submerged inside a glass tank filled with a green colored liquid, while the lower half of his face is covered with an oxygen mask that is connected to the tank’s apparatus.

At the side of the tank, a hologram projection of Anderton’s vitals is being displayed.

A man wearing a lab coat is monitoring Anderton’s vitals, the man looked at the newly arrived group and introduces himself as Aiden Tully, he told them that he is one of the doctors at the medical bay of the tower.

Since Anderton was already awake when Helios arrived, he told Helios that he will honor their bet but Helios said to him that he was not interested in having a subordinate and told Anderton and his lackey that they should properly apologize to Aemie and Janet for their misconduct at them.

After Anderton and his lackey apologies to Aemie and Janet, Helios’s group said their goodbyes to doctor Tully as they leave the room.

They continue their tour in the Tower of Combat after that incident while Morton was also accompanying them.

As their group was watching a battle between two students at one of the arenas in the tower, one of them has the ability that can transform himself into a panther while the other was able to change his physical property into a wood.

While they were focused on watching the battle, Helios was in deep thought as he had realized that he is still too dependent on the cosmic energy making his martial arts and battle level stagnant.

Although he had a gut feeling that nothing can nullify the cosmic energy, but he still needs to increase his martial arts proficiency so that he can have an additional Trump card just in case.

But he is also facing another problem, which is his discipline, that he doesn’t have because of his lack of self-control and impulsive behavior that he had carried with him when he was isekai from this world.

Since Helios was contemplating some of his problems, he wasn’t able to hear that Rizal is calling him since they were about to leave the arena because the battle was already over.

Helios only come out of his deep thought when Dexter shouted near him, he asked them the reason why they were calling him, which Dexter annoyingly told him that they were about to leave the place since the battle had ended.

Helios hurriedly got up and follow them as they walk out of the arena along with the other viewers.

After their tour in the Tower of Combat, the next place that their group visited was the university cafeteria as their stomach was grumbling because of hunger.

When they arrived at the cafeteria their group received a hateful gaze since most of the students that attended the orientation were eating there.

But their gaze mostly focused on Helios although they want to beat Helios up for his arrogant speech at the orientation they don’t dare to do it since they know that they aren’t strong enough to even threaten Helios the only thing they can do was to look at Helios with a hateful glare.

Morton curiously asked them about the reason why the students in the cafeteria are looking at them with spiteful glares.

Hearing this question, they all look at Helios that was feeling a little guilty about what he did.

Helios explained to Morton what he did or said in his motivational speech as one of the top three scorers in the entrance exam.

Morton burst out in laughter while holding his stomach, as he patted Helios back, after hearing what Helios did in his motivational speech.

The freshmen student look at Morton with an unfriendly expression while the senior students just ignored him.

While they are at a vacant table after ordering their foods, 7 male students approached their table.

” HEY!

“THIS IS OUR SPOT!

” MOVE IT!”

One of them said menacingly.

” come on Rutland, can you give me a little face in front of my juniors?”

Morton asked the man for a leeway.

” you know this is always the spot save for my gang, so if you’re thinking that I’ll give you a little face? then think again so what’s it going to be? Morton? are you and your friends going to leave? or we’re going to make you?”

Rutland said as he and his gang start cracking their knuckles.

Seeing the situation Aemie and Janet frown, while Dexter prepared to sneakily cast his illusion as for Rizal, he was hiding behind Andres that was about to draw his sword if things escalated.

Helios ignored the tense situation and eating.

Seeing that Helios was ignoring their existence, Rutland and his gang turned their attention to Helios.

Helios turned his head around to the direction where the gaze was coming from.

There, Helios saw Rutland and his gang looking at him with hostility while cracking their knuckles.

Helios said with an irritated look written on his face.

Rutland was enraged at Helios expression so he punches Helios right into the face but unknown to Rutland, his body was already covered with the cosmic energy stopping his punching motion halfway through.

” hahahaha,

” This technique never gets old”

Helios said after laughing when Rutland’s body halted its movement.

Helios also did the same to Rutland’s gang, although he promises to himself that he wouldn’t be too dependent on using the cosmic energy, he can’t help it, it’s like a drug, using it is so addictive and enjoyable, especially bullying some arrogant prick.

Everyone had their mouths hanging in the air, shocked at the event that happened.

Helios ignored the atmosphere in the cafeteria and slowly approach Rutland.

“An arrogant little prick with his arrogant little underlings bragging their little bit of strength, now guess what?

“You mess with the wrong guy, so you could just blame it to your bad luck”

Helios said as he was annoyed since this was the second time today that he encounters another clich event.
