H.e.r.o. - Chapter 43
The training dummy kept spanking Helios ass while Rizal just stood there trying to contain his laughter as he took some pictures and recorded a video of Helios being dominated by the training bot.
“Hey! What the heck is this!? Isn’t this dummy too strong to be easy mode!? What the fuck man, get me out of this!” Helios screamed in agony begging for Rizal to stop the stimulation–, er, Simulation.
After having a good laugh, Rizal finally released Helios from the clutches of the dummy and it melted and went back to the solid mimetic material in the room.
“OhOwhh, I’m gonna feel that one later in the bed, o-ouch!”
Helios said as he laid his body on the floor.
“You okay?” Rizal asked,
“You asshole!” Helios said as he panted while in pain,
*Crack*
“Ahrgh!!”
Helios wailed as he tried to stretch his back.
“Haha, sorry about that, guess I got a little carried away, *wink*,” said Rizal, while obviously still enjoying Helios’ agony.
“Yeah, you owe me today’s lunch, buddy!”
“But how the heck was that training dummy s’ppose to be that freakin’ strong!?” Helios complained.
“The moment you enrolled in this university, you’ve basically given the school some insights regarding your abilities and fighting style, they then use that data and feed it into their servers where the A.I.s process those data to feed into your training menu and any special considerations during your time here in the university.
“That includes the training dummy you’ve just fought right now,
“It analyses your fighting style and techniques and specifically target your weak points exposing it to the trainee for them to overcome,” Rizal enthusiastically explained,
“So is it always this hard with the A.I.?” Helios asked.
“Nope, not exactly. You see, there are four difficulty settings for the bot, novice, intermediate, expert, and grand master level.”
“You mean there are four other levels!? And that one was the easiest I was fighting against”
“Nope! I changed your settings to grand master to give you a whopping ass in your first day *wink*”
So Helios choked Rizal swinging his head back and forth in his annoyance,
“Nooooo, I’m not into that sort of play Helios,, stahhhp ittt” Rizal said in a lewd manner,
So Helios let go of him and glared,
“*Spit* PERVERT! ”
As they were busy chatting, Andres Bonifacio, Aemie, Dexter and Janet also came and entered their training room.
“Yow Rizal, so is this the place you were talking about?”, said Andres,
“Oh hey Andrew, glad you came to stop by. I had just finished bullyi, giving some advice to Helios regarding the training Room. You wanna give it a try?”
“Looks like you definitely made fun of Helios,” remarked Aemie with a snark,
“Sure, let me see what it can do,” Andres said eagerly to Rizal.
“Alright, let’s get you on the field,”
Helios snuck to Rizal’s back and whispered to him, and both of them grinned with a nasty expression, setting Andres’ difficulty to the same kick yo’ ass setting earlier.
“Hey you two! You seem to be planning something!”, said Janet,
“Naw, I was just telling Rizal to buy me some lunch for messin’ up my training session earlier,”
“Oh, boy, I’m excited!” said Andres, as he clinched his fist and readied himself for duel.
As the training dummy begins to materialize, Andrews walks towards it as his sword began to take form in his hand.
As he drew nearer, he stopped short by a few meters, as he saw the training dummy also got a sword in his hand.
Andres stepped into his fighting stance while the dummy was just standing there, idle, holding its sword.
Both fighters stood still and didn’t move a single inch, as the atmosphere in the room began to get intense.
Then suddenly, Andres made the first move, dashing forward to the dummy and sending an upward vertical slash, but the dummy quickly parried his attack then followed up with a thrust into Andres stomach.
“Oh no he’s in trouble!” said Dexter,
But Andres turned his body sideways dodging the stab then he responds with an upward diagonal slash, the dummy jumped backward causing the slash to be pulled out abruptly.
“That was skillfully done!” remarked Aemie while Helios and Rizal watched in confusion since their tiny little plan didn’t worked out as they imagined it to be.
Then the two duelists jumped forward at each other with quick and flashy swings, as their swords continuedly clash with each other, with not one of them giving a chance to counter attack.
The motions were swift and very tight causing Helios and Rizal to watch in awe as Andres and the training dummy looked like two master swordsmen dueling to the death, it was that intense!
As another stab was parried, Andrews back out from the dummy as he summoned a scabbard in his other hand. He then sheathed his sword into its and lowered his body.
“River Mantis sword style”
“Sword draw!”
“Wrath of the SKY!”
In a blink of an eye, Andres suddenly appeared behind the training dummy with his sword already drawn in an instant, causing a chip to the training dummy’s weapon. He was able to land the first hit. Yet as the dummy’s position suggested, it used the bulk of its sword to defend from what would have been a fatal attack from Andres. Afterwards, the chip was instantly fixed.
“tch!”
Andres clicked his tongue after seeing his attacked failed.
The training dummy instantly turned around after their exchange and gave downward vertical slash but Andres rolled to the side dodging the attack.
The dummy went for another strike, but he was able to block the sword as he was recovering from the roll he did on the floor.
While he was blocking the sword he swept his foot to knock the dummy but it was able to quickly jump in time and sent a roundhouse kick at Andres side throwing him away a few inches.
The training dummy didn’t let Andres recover and immediately followed up with an axe kick.
But before the axe kick could land to Andres, Rizal pulled the plug and turned off the simulation, while Janet and Dexter rushed to Andres’ aide.
“Hey, you okay dude?” Janet asked,
“I’m fine, thank you.”
Andres said as he got up.
“Looks like I still pretty much have a lot to learn, especially when my opponents start mixing up their techniques,”
“I know man, that was totally dope! I didn’t know the university had this state-of-the-art training A.I.!” commented dexter as he gave Andres a friendly pat in his back.
“Truly, a wonderful training tool.
“I’m gonna be here often!” said Andres with a smile,
Amazed by how Andres managed stay in the fight even at the highest difficulty, Helios asked Rizal to face the training dummy once again, since there was still twenty minutes left for the session.
