What Ting found was that Klien’s Institution researches how to prolong human life. Ting wondered if they were successful since somebody wants their research data.
Anyways, Ting would find out if they were successful because he would be the one that steals the data away. That is if he could understand the data; if he couldn’t make any sense of it then it would just be scraps of paper.
Ting didn’t need to know that, all he needed to do want a couple of things.
Firstly, he needed to find a method to infiltrate them and locate where their data is stored. There was a saying no matter what you did, once you use the internet, the internet will always have a profile of you. Of course, this could be completely false and was just a speculation. It would be better if you had never used the internet before, because of all the information being tracked.
Secondly, he needed to make a copy of the data he finds and once he makes the copy, he will then attempt to erase all their information.
Ting also remembered that the assignment also gave a few pointers. Taking a few moments to read them over again. The few points indicated that their information is stored into a secure server located off-site. Meaning it is not located at their research facility but somewhere else.
Thinking of this he went on google and opened up a google maps of the building that housed the servers.
He found that it was a small data center, about the size of a small school. It was most likely to maximize security as they would need fewer people to guard it. If you had a lot of space then you need more guards to cover the entire building.
Ting had started to research his opponent, or in this case the victim. To decrease the chances of him getting caught he needed to know his opponent like it was their own child.
What surprised Ting was that he found that he had no way to infiltrate in because the data is shipped there.
This meant for Ting to complete his assignment he was forced to go in person. Ting felt like 2000USD wasn’t enough.
Ting remembered that there was a way to complain and request for more money. Even though Ting didn’t really want to be all that picky. It was definitely not worth the 2000USD.
He went back to the assignment and clicked on file a complaint. He complained that the value of the assignment was not worth it. He sighed, Ting would drop this assignment if they didn’t increase their price. Ting would try to attempt to break in. But, he needed to prepare for that if he tried.
Ting sent the complaint and started work on his new mobile game. Since he didn’t want to break into the institution, instead of idling around he would start programming his game. There were System Credits to be made!
…
Meanwhile, at the Institution of Human Biology, the person who created the task was actually the president of the institution.
His name was Bruce Fi, he was actually a foreigner who immigrated here due to work.
He was invited to be one of the directors of the institution, but he quickly made it up the rankings and instead found himself manning the institution.
He sent the assignment because he heard from a few people who were working at Klein’s Institution that they had good results in their research.
Bruce Fi, obviously knew Chinese otherwise how could he climb the rankings very fast? Of course, he had the skill set to back it up.
After he heard that Klein’s Institution had some good research results he immediately became worried.
The institution is working at also did something similar. They researched human cells and the body.
He wanted to have great achievements during his reign. For him to rise up the positions he obviously couldn’t be that clean.
He made some dirty deals and used underhanded means for his achievements. He was Chinese but was born in Canada.
Not all people are nice as they seem, they may have this dark side to them as they lie in wait to gobble you up.
Many people in managing positions are clean people, but, there are just a few of those people who used underhanded means to rise in the ranks, by stealing other people’s achievements or sabotaging his colleagues.
This kind of person shouldn’t be able to live in the world, but, too bad… they will exist everywhere.
Nothing could be done to them, it was normal for there to be bad apples.
Becoming worried and jealous he wanted to steal the data and then afterwards use that data to do research and present their new information.
This was one of the ways he could get away with it.
Knowing this he sent an assignment for it on HackersNetwork. He gave a reward of 2000USD and thought it was enough.
Sitting in a black chair in his office at the Institution, he was relaxing around. He didn’t need to do much as all he needed to do was to sign papers and supervise the research.
He received an email from HackersNetwork and thought that the assignment was completed.
But, reading the email he saw that instead of completed he received a complaint.
Reading what the complaint was about he found that it was actually harder than he expected.
He didn’t think that Klein’s Institution would be so hard to hack into. He quickly typed up if the hacker was able to do it for more money.
Of course, Bruce Fi didn’t know who the hacker was as they were anonymous. The hackers will never reveal their legal name.
That would be tantamount to suicide or inviting cops through your front door.
…
This all happened after Ting sent the complaint, it hasn’t even been an hour before he received a reply back.
He quickly switched windows and found himself back on HackersNetwork. He quickly read the email and thought to himself. “If I were to say yes, that I could retrieve the research data, then I would need to see if there are courses for something like a ninja.”
Ting wasn’t sure if he could find a course like that. If it was possible then wouldn’t this learning dimension be godly? If he didn’t have the learning dimension then if he wanted to learn how to “rob” or infiltrate something stealth-fully then wouldn’t he need to gain experience from actually trying it out.
There was no way to determine if he would be caught the first time he tried it. This was one of the pros of his learning dimension, even if he got caught in the learning dimension then he could just start over again.
In the learning dimension, he was just getting more experienced after every failed attempt.
In the real world, he would be sent to jail, no questions asked. He wasn’t willing to do this in the real world, he was impressed by the people who don’t have this learning dimension being able to get experienced at it.
Besides the fact that most of these people get caught, it’s still impressive that they are able to do what they do. (Author: Don’t steal things, it’s not worth it!)
Ting quickly thought for a while after finally coming up with a reply, he quickly tapped away on the keyboard.
