Hacker System - Chapter 27
Chapter 27: Infiltrating
“DIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNG DONNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG :)” x3
The sound repeated three times and Ting quickly awoken from his peaceful slumber.
“UUHHGHGH” for Ting he just can’t help feeling refreshed after taking such a great sleep. It was very unusual for university students to get enough sleep. When Ting was still a student at the University of Everlasting Dreams he only had 6-7 hours of sleep every day.
The reason? That was because sometimes he slacked off and read web novels up to 1 o’clock into the night. Now that is what I call diligence! 🙂 (Author: Totally not talking about me! I mean send me help at Pa treon/)
However, when Ting got the password to the Cameras. He checked that a day and night had passed.
When he checked with the schedule for the shipment of samples and it was scheduled for today at 6 PM. It was about 6 hours from now. Ting now had 6 hours to prepare himself. So for the rest of the six hours, he would be scouting out the situation from the ground.
After six hours had passed, Ting made a couple of notes about the guard schedules who patrol on the outside of the complex. The guard follows the guard schedule closely to their schedule in the data that he got from their partners who are eyeing on their results.
Ting quickly got into position, waiting for the moment that the large shipment truck to arrive.
After what felt like forever, the target is now in his sights. The truck was a pure white in colour and the dark black wheels. Ting knew that once the people start unloading he will make the cameras go in a closed loop. Meaning that the footage that would appear in the security room will be showing a video that was taped when the truck pulls in, essentially the large garage looking doorway will be opened and that the large truck would be blocking the camera.
That would be a good time to create the loop so nothing would seem off until the truck leaves and somebody in the security room notices that the delivery truck that had left was still being shown on the camera systems. Therefore, someone will find out that someone hacked into their cameras.
This was why Ting made it so when he presses a button on his phone it would, in turn, send a signal to his computer in his personal space/pocket world to make the camera outside of the delivery loading/offloading zone loop or freeze.
The large white truck slowly backed into the offloading zone while the big closed garage-type door opened. Once the truck stopped Ting would send the signal to his computer and make the camera loop.
The large truck slowly came to a halt and Ting sent the signal. Now was his chance, the large door was open and now Ting wore his dark clothing covering his face with a mask. He quickly used his movement skills that he had learned from the training that he did in the past few months.
Quickly and swiftly slipped through the loading door, he finally had entered the building. When he entered what greeted him was a warehouse looking environment. There were quite a lot of boxes that had stickers on them, along with the nametags that were used to categorize them.
From what he could see, there were many items relating to animals inside these containers. Quickly ignoring these, he came here not to sightsee but for a different reason.
Having reminding himself, Ting quickly looked at the mental image of the plan in his head. He quickly made his way towards the archives which were located inside the administrator wing.
He then made his way carefully avoiding the security teams. He wouldn’t want to be seen by them. On his way make sure that no cameras capture his silhouette.
The hallways were quite clean and well maintained. This shows how much the research institute cares about cleanliness.
Since they experiment with genes and the sorts a cleaner environment will prevent the samples and the sorts to become contaminated.
Ting arrived at the administration office where they would keep the records of their experiments.
After about 30 minutes, he finally saw the entrance to the office, he knew that there were some cameras that were also placed inside the administration room. This was to be expected as this place is where many of their work is situated.
The reason why they didn’t have many cameras inside was that they didn’t want people to be able to watch what the people do while doing their work on the computer.
Hence, the admin office would have a few cameras however, they won’t be able to film what the people were doing on their computers as such.
Sometimes a few weird “events” happens. Some of which are quite disturbing. I will not go into detail about it.
Ting’s objective right now should be to connect a USB stick that is connected to his ‘super’ computer to cracked the password and copy all the files.
Outside the administration doorway where Ting was hidden, he checked the guards’ position relative to where he was at and calculated that they would arrive at his location at approximately 30 seconds.
He then checked the cameras inside the offices to see if anybody was there. What he found was there there was only a couple of people working away doing things which he can’t see from the cameras angle.
The guards were able to turn the corner according to his calculations. Therefore, he thought in his mind to enter his pocket world.
In a second Ting found himself in front of his bed. He headed towards the computer room and checked the cameras he had up on the screen. After waiting a few moments the guards could be seen on camera from where Ting came from.
Now’s the time to observe the best moment to enter the office. That would be when everyone is either working hard and resulting in their decreased awareness of their surroundings or when they need to use the restroom or grab a bite.
