Over the weeks Hadrian spent time gathering knowledge, compiling and practising magiks delving deeper and deeper, while familiarising himself with the flow of energy within his very being. The ability he has that allowed him to feel the movement of energy was not restricted to the energy within his body, with his practice and the state of mind that catalogued every sensation, he slowly but surely began to perceive the energy in the atmosphere.

With the ability to perceive the ambient energies, he developed the ability to not only use his internal energy but also the energy in the air, using them to either supplement his casting or using them solely for his spells. However, this was not the most astonishing discovery, what he discovered was that everything in this world was connected and while wizards and witches use the same energy he does, there are other energies in the atmosphere, some barely perceivable, others stronger than the energy used for magic. However, he currently had no way to manipulate them properly, apart from slightly directing them when spell casting.

In his previous life, the notion of the butterfly effect was known but not proven, however through his research in this life he discovered that the very mystical energy in the atmosphere cranked it up a notch. This connection allowed wizards to create devices though extremely rare, that told them who their enemies were, those who were speaking about them and much more. It explained why Voldemort was able to locate all those that spoke his name, allowing him to send his minions on the attack.

The depth of the connection was something Hadrian constantly researched whenever he had time to spare, with this he was able to create a failsafe for his mech frames through the connection established with the portrait frames, the Potter ancestor imprints can safely return to their portrait frames if the mech frames get damaged beyond a point, or he remotely detonates them if he feels they’re compromised. This was one of many safety features he used in the building of the mech frames. A theory he came up with was of Seers being so Intune with the connection their brains are able to automatically predict a possible future, but that’s something to research in the future.

Of course, such knowledge was seemingly lost over time due to the current wizard’s incompetence. As Hadrian was walking with Lady Matilda he couldn’t help but marvel at his creation, the most challenging part was giving the mech frame the ability to change facial expressions. The normal human face has 43 muscles and the process of a smile required 10 of those muscles to complete. Replicating this was a challenge which he welcomed, he used the anatomy of the human body as a framework for all mech frames.

“Hadrian” hearing his name being called Hadrian was brought out of his musing as he focused on his ancestor “yes Lady Matilda?” “I don’t really mind if you called me Aunt, but I was thinking, while I appreciate you creating this ‘frame’ as you call it. Surely there’s more to it than me simply guiding you”, a smile crept up on Hadrian’s face as he heard that, “yes Aunt you’re right, but I’ll explain my other reasons in due time, till then please get used to the frame you’re in”.

Lady Matilda had a smile as she watched Hadrian walk away, turning around she decided to experiment and discover her newfound abilities. Arriving at the garden she found a section mainly consisting of grass, some basic motions to test how wide her range of motion, she discovered how flexible she was, safe to say that she’d put most contortionists to shame.

Going for a jog she noticed the full fluidity of her movement, the kinetic energy was being converted to something, as she ‘felt’ more energised. Soon as her speed gradually increased she noticed the trees faded into a blur, in less than 10 seconds she was at the end of the garden with more energy than she started with. Noticing something in her vision she focused on an icon on the bottom right, a HUD appeared displaying the condition of the mech frame and how much energy she had.

[“If anything, I’m not sure what Hadrian wants me to teach him, with what he’s shown me so far he’s well beyond his peers and I’m sure he hasn’t shown me everything he’s capable of”], thinking of trying something she raised her arms, *Bombarda!* As soon as the words left her mouth there was a surge of energy followed by an explosion, she followed where her arms were facing and saw a shallow trench leading to a crater about 3m deep. “I don’t even know what to expect from him”, with an exasperated sigh she returned to the Manor.

Upon entering she noticed other Potter ancestors walking around seemingly getting used to their new bodies, approaching a fairly bulky man standing at 6′. Noticing her in turn he called out with a boisterous voice “Matilda! I have to say the young Heir Potter got my likeness spot on!” With a laugh he flexed his arms as he examined his new frame, Lady Matilda let out a chuckle as she examined him “Oscar I’ll admit he outdid himself with this” “Indeed so Lady Matilda” another Potter answered, he was Fleamont Potter was a man that could only be described as a beanstalk, standing at 5’10 he approached the 2.

“I must say even I don’t think anyone of our time would be able to accomplish what Hadrian did, and I’m looking forward to seeing his works in the future” the excited Fleamont stated gaining a nod from both participants. “Speaking of Hadrian, has anyone seen him?” Lady Matilda asked as she looked around her fellow Potters. “Oh its lunchtime so he should be in the dining room, he apparently wants to discuss something with us after he’s done, hmm do you think we’ll be able to eat I haven’t had a bite since ever” Fleamont exclaimed as the thought caused a wide grin to appear.

“Even if we could, I doubt we’d be able to taste anything, you could always try and tell the rest of us how it goes hahaha!” Oscar teased as they continued to converse among each other.

An hour later we find all Potters in mech frames sat at the amphitheatre while focused on the tiny figure of Hadrian ‘Harry’ Potter, “It’s good to see everyone finally out of the house”, this caused a few chuckles here and there “while I’m sure some of you have no doubt tested the capabilities of your frames, for those who haven’t please ask those who have. There will be slight variations due to the build of your frames but please get used to them as soon as you can”.

Hadrian began explaining the general abilities of the frames, some failsafe’s and other things he felt they needed to know, “this brings me to the main reason I did all this, as we all know we were excluded from the Sacred Twenty-Eight due to our open stance on blood purity. We did not believe in most ‘Pureblood’ ideologies and we were never at the very forefront of wizarding history, contenting with a solid and comfortable existence in the background”, his words bringing a variety of nods and agreements from the crowd.

However, he soon began explaining the most recent history of the wizarding world, how men like Voldemort rose to power using the ideology of blood purity, the fall of various Houses including the Potters leaving him as the sole living member while his parents remain in a coma. Grim faces were uniformly worn by those listening, “Hence why I think it’s time we leave the current Magical world and look elsewhere, in recent times to the non-magical; and I refuse to call them ‘muggles’, world has had a boom in technology. I believe it won’t be too long before they discover the Magical world and with the atrocities committed and the current bigotry in the ministry I don’t see this ending peacefully for anyone”.

Taking a moment to catch his breath he continued “while I may be young, I’m sure I’ve managed to convince you on my abilities so far”, a round of acknowledgement came “indeed Heir Hadrian, most impressive I must say” Theo exclaimed from his side as he laughed feeling proud of his descendant. “I want the Potters to spread out into the non-magical world! The opportunities we could benefit from are much greater than if we remained as we were, that is why I’ll need your help in managing all the ventures I’m planning on undertaking.”

“I will teach you all the relevant knowledge you’ll need to dominate whatever field I require you in and what you want to focus on, don’t doubt me and let my ability speak for me. I’ll teach you of the world’s recent history and the advancements in technology.” His voice growing more impassioned the more he spoke, “We as Potters in the next 5 years will be at the forefront in all fields, and I will need you to help me manage them, there will be opposition and there will be enemies made. However, we shall overcome them should they try get in our way!” A roaring inferno became his voice as the Potters became agitated, “INDEED HEIR POTTER HAHAHA” Oscars voice rung loud as he could see the rise of the Potters in the young man before him.

“Ooo interesting times are coming” Lady Matilda mused as she saw the excited gleam in the eyes of her fellow Potters.
