Happy Endings Are Lies - 4 Chapter 4-The Unknown
He turned round to see his fathers corpse and whispered to himself,
“I will never accept it…”
He looked towards the setting sun and started taking deep breaths.
“I’m not the monster here…..This whole country….NO, this whole planet is at fault….This whole society is the true monster…..And i’m sick of it always finding me, controlling me, always causing me and the ones close to me pain….”
He was tired….
Tired of pain…..
Tired of regret…
Tired of living….
And tired of himself…..
He slowly walked and stood at the edge of the roof, looked down and saw a small park which was blossoming with beautiful flowers and trees…so full of joy and life.
At the center of the park lay a beautiful pond….so peaceful with no worries at all, no trouble or hate, no envy or sadness…..It stayed calm, so relaxed…..and so happy…
Oh how he envied it all!!
As he was about to jump, he to one last look at his sister and said,
“I’m coming to join you big sis….Just wait, okay?” He said it with a pitiful smile on his face, as he said his goodbye………..
Then he jumped.
As he fell….. He thought about his regrets, he thought about his choices, he thought about his existence.
“Did his life even matter?”
“What was the reason for his existence…..” He didn’t know… nether did it matter…
He didn’t hit the ground yet but began to lose his consciousness, he didn’t know why?
His eyes began to shut and couldn’t open them anymore.
But then he couldn’t breath anymore…His whole body felt like it was submerged into water…It felt cold and calm…..He knew he would die and was fully prepared….
His body felt so heavy, his lungs felt like it was burning, it felt like it was cracking open….
For a few minutes he felt his heart stop…
“This is it…” He thought, and peacefully fell into and endless sleep…..without any resistance…..He let all his pain out, all his anguish out, and all his regrets…As he fell deeper into the dark cold water.
But something warm shone from his body.
It lit his entire body, from head to toe. It was so bright that it lit the dark water which was seen to be the pond from the park.
The light began to shrink and so the did the body..
It kept on shrinking….and…shrinking…..and….shrinking until there was nothing left.
There was no more light and there was no more a body. As if nothing had happened….everything just disappeared into the unknown…..

He suddenly felt his consciousness come back.
“He was still alive!?”
He opened his eyes to see that he was sitting on a chair with golden linings and edges , in a room, in a middle of a large round table with 12 unknown people sitting on chairs around him. They stared at him intensely. They seemed like they were waiting for him to wake up..
They had really weird clothing though.
“What the HECK IS GOING ON!!” He screamed in his mind.
