Happy Endings Are Lies - 8 Chapter 8- I hate all those love stuff!
A month has passed since the time I was born which was absolutely BORING! My new parents would not let me out of my crib at all. They keep treating like a child! Well to be honest, I still am 1 month old, but this is absolutely killing me! I mean, I am 15 years old, mentally. But I did find some ways to kill my boredom. Every time my parents would leave for work, I would crawl myself to the library. At first I would get lost but the more I explored, the more I got the gist of this place. Oh did I forget to mention that I live in a freaking mansion and the only son born to the Cornelius family, it is an esteemed family recognized by the King Nehphen himself. My family is the first strongest noble in the world, he is the king’s friend as well his right hand man. One of the reasons, is that because my father is the head general of the entire country, serving the nation whole-hardheartedly with extremely great leadership skill. None could match his skills in the combat all except one person. That person was MY MOM! Yes, you heard right. MY MOM!
She told me one night about how she had met my father. My father, before, was rather boastful about his strength and skills with the sword, and ended up challenging my mother to a duel. he kept on saying things like,”Make sure not to cry when you lose.” and “I hope you won’t regret dueling me.” It was a fierce battle against my mother, a magician, and my father, a swordsman. It was such a fearsome battle that some elders came to put a Legendary-level barrier around the arena they were fighting in.
In the end, my mom reigned victorious from the battle, which greatly shocked everyone. She giggled thinking about the shocked face my father had on his face after he lost. But a win was a win no matter what. A week after their battle, my dad followed my mom (Stalker Alert! Stalker Alert!) and ended up falling for her. He kept proposing to her everyday until she finally said yes. Don’t get it wrong, she didn’t marry him out of pity or annoyance.
She actually fell in love with him first, so when he challenged her to a duel she was so happy that he finally noticed her but was embarrassed at the same time. When he finally started stalking her, she was actually overjoyed but didn’t know how to approach him. Then when he proposed, she felt like she was gonna die of too much joy. She wasn’t mentally ready and declined for the meantime.
When she finally prepared herself, she accepted. Then wedding bell happened and blahblahblahblahblah more things which I don’t really care about.
I hate all those lovy-dovey crap! Who believes in that! Love at first sight, what a lie! There are no such things as that!
