LOVE looks over to the tablet broadcasting Eilene inside her room still full of despair, “FATE is sure relentless to Eilene lately” LOVE commented as she saw Eilene crying silently
Suddenly, a cocoon of ribbons appeared in the middle of the room and unravels to reveal FATE
“Welcome back FATE” LOVE greeted from the table
FATE looked at LOVE’s relaxed figure in the table while eating shortcakes “You’re doing this while Eilene is in distress?” FATE asked her
“Well, it’s my job to balance love of the universe” LOVE said simply
LOVE stared at FATE with a sadistic smile “And sometimes, love can hurt you know?”
FATE glared at the pink entity for a bit before sighing and taking a seat with her in the table. FATE picked up a shortcake and starts eating while monitoring Eilene
Eilene is still crying after what she did in the library. LOVE stared at the crying girl “Hey FATE, can I ask you a question?” she said
“Ask away” FATE said with her mouthful of sweets
“When will this bet end?” LOVE asked with a serious expression
FATE looked at the pink entity with blank eyes “It will end soon. Eren is developing feelings between those girls. Sooner or later, he has to choose between the 2 of them”
LOVE sighed in relief, which FATE noticed. “LOVE, could it be? Are you getting too attached to them?” FATE glared at LOVE with her cold empty eyes
LOVE maintained her smiling expression. LOVE smiled even wider “We, guardians should only protect people from afar. We can’t associate ourselves to mortals like them” LOVE explained
LOVE chuckled “Didn’t you remember our bet, FATE?”
FATE looked at her grinning expression “I just checking if you still on the bet. I can’t let get you away with all those timelines” the ribboned girl calmly said
LOVE continued to watch the tablet
FATE stared suspiciously at her fellow guardian “But still, I need to keep an eye out for LOVE’s plans, she always finds a way to cheat and win these kinds of bets” she thought
FATE glared at her silently “I can’t let LOVE win this”
LOVE swiped the tablet revealing a new screen with Eren and May walking down the street

Eren and May are working on their own now. The mood of the library has somewhat gotten even quieter. Well, that’s would be expected if you saw a giant charred region in the middle of the library. Eilene may have reduced the fire’s progress, but still big of the damage
Eilene was suspended for 2 weeks after that fire incident. Eren tried to negotiate with the school president to reduce Eilene’s punishment but he disregarded Eren’s attempts and saying, “Be grateful that I didn’t expel her, after all this is Strike 2. Please don’t make Strike 3”
Most of the club members disregarded the absence of the little stuttering girl, her job was easily manageable, and so lack of Eilene isn’t that much of a big deal. But as for Eren, May, and surprisingly August, they were the most affected to Eilene’s suspension.
They’re the closest people that would consider as Eilene’s friends. Eren and May bonded with the shy girl while they’re working on the draft and August is close to Eilene as the reliable secretary of his own club
Eren sighed as May and he walked down the street. Both of them were silent at Eilene’s absence
“You’re worried about Eilene, aren’t you?” May said to Eren in a concerned tone
“Yes” Eren said with a frown. May stared at her boyfriend for a bit before saying “Of course you are. You’re the first friend Eilene made” May replied with a smile
“Well, for what is worth, at least you tried your best to stop the fire before it could get any worse” May said in a reassuring voice “It lessens Eilene’s punishment to a suspension instead of an expulsion”
Eren lightens up “Yeah, you’re right. I shouldn’t beat myself too much” Eren smiled “Thanks May”
“No problem. Eilene’s my friend too you know” May elbowed his side
“Right, I’ll see you tomorrow May!” Eren waved goodbye as they separated to their respective houses
May waited for Eren to leave. As soon she confirmed that he is out of sight, she said specific words
“MENU!” May said as a red panel appeared in front of her

Eren is laying in his bed thinking about one specific girl. Eilene.

Eren sighed as he stood up from his bed “You know what, I need some fresh air” He wore his red jacket and went outside in the middle of the night
He wandered the busy evening streets of Central City until he reached the city park. The park is quiet but you can still see a few people wandering this place at night. As the moon hid behind a few clouds but still provides some light
Eren continued to loiter the park at night in hopes of calming down his mind. But no matter how he tried, he still keeps thinking of Eilene
Then by pure chance, he saw her

She was sitting on the same familiar bench. She seems to be staring at the night sky. Her short black hair swayed against the gentle breeze. Her eyes glisten in the moonlight and for some reason, she looked like a graceful cat
“Eilene” Eren called out for her
“Eren? Why are you here?” Eilene turned around with a surprised look on her face
“I’m just getting some fresh air. Mind if I join you?” he asked
She agreed as Eren sat alongside her
It was quiet, only the sounds of the night are heard
“It was my fault” Eilene broke the silence, “Huh?” Eren responded
“If I didn’t fall asleep, the library would have been just fine and you and May wouldn’t have been in danger because of my clumsiness” Eilene said with a hint of despair
“Eilene… it was an accident, no one could have predicted it” Eren comforted Eilene
“Liar… I had the power to predict it” Eren said to himself silently. This is why Eren was the most affected to the incident. If he had done better, Eilene wouldn’t have been suffering because of this
“No, Eren. It’s my fault. If wasn’t so weak, cowardly and stupid that who always ran away if she gets hurt, then maybe people wouldn’t have been dragged by my own mistakes!” Eilene started to cry
Eren was speechless
“When I saw the fire, I acted like I weren’t there. Completely invisible. It’s like Jess said” Eilene sobbed

“W-What? But I’m weak, foolish and a scaredy-cat that can’t do anything good by her own” Eilene continued to doubt herself

Eilene stared at Eren in shock as he continued to talk
“As for Jess, to me, she weaker than you! Because she uses others for her strength while you did it all by yourself!” Eren exclaimed
“Eilene, I know you’re not the bravest person but that doesn’t mean you don’t have your own strength” Eren grabbed her shoulders
“Have faith in yourself” Eren said with a gentle smile

Eilene stared at the boy who helped her with shock. The wind started to uncover the clouds shrouding the moon. As the moon uncovers, moonlight shined all over the park creating a beautiful scene
Eilene shocked face turned into a smiling one. She smiled at Eren and said “Then, I’ll be expecting that help, Eren” as her black hair sparkled to the moonlight with her blushing face
Eren widens his eyes as he noticed Eilene became more beautiful

2 weeks later. A last, Eilene’s suspension is finally over
Eren is now hiding behind a corner watching Jess and her friends waiting for Eilene
He sees Eilene walked towards them, “Okay Eilene, show then what you got!” Eren cheered silently
Eilene approached Jess “Well, Eilene! How are you doing? How does it feel to be suspended?” Jess mocked her
Eilene stayed silent, “Still not talking? Well, let’s get to business. Where’s my homework?” Jess demanded
“I didn’t do it” Eilene said
“You what?” Jess threaten her a bit
“Because I don’t want to do it! It’s your problem, not mine! Do your own work rather than forcing me to do it!” Eilene suddenly yelled with built up anger
Jess and the other girls took a step back at Eilene’s sudden change in personality
“You got some spunk since the last I saw you. What are you going to do? Call your boyfriend Eren?” Jess taunted
“No, this is my problem. Eren has nothing to do with this. This is between you and me” Eilene replied
“That’s it? What are you going to do? Whisper us to death?” Jess laughed with the other girls
“No, but I have this” Eilene held up a phone with a timer counting down, words saying “Files sending”
“These files contain 2 years of evidence that you and the others are cheating since the first semester. And also all of you had done “special service” with a few of the teachers in an effort to raise your grades” Eilene said
Jess stepped back a bit “You bitch, how did you get that?!”
“I’m the library committee’s secretary, I have my ways to get this” Eilene replied
“Then I’ll just-” Jess said before Eilene interrupted her by saying, “What? Are you going to beat me again? These files are automatically sent directly at the school principal at the end of the day, protected by a password only I know” Eilene said
Jess paled “Just when this shy, pathetic brat suddenly became a nuisance?!” Jess thought balled up her fist up in anger
“You can hurt me, bully me or even kill me but those files are going to be sent anyway” Eilene added
Jess and her friends started to get scared at Eilene’s blackmail attempt. Eilene trapped her bullies with this inescapable trap
“I’ll stop the files if you leave everyone from your bullying! Do we have a deal?!” Eilene said in a demanding voice
“Jess, let’s just do what she wants. My parents won’t forgive me if they found out what we’re doing” One of Jess’ friends begged
Jess thought about her reputation to the school if they found out what she really is. Jess gave up, “Fine, we’ll leave you alone. Just please don’t send those files!” Jess pleaded with her friends to Eilene
Eren smiled in the corner “Well done Eilene, you finally defeated the mighty Jess”, Eren looked at the brave Eilene
After the whole thing, Jess and her friends left Eilene alone. And as promised. Eilene stopped the files from being sent. She successfully stopped Jess’ bullying not only to herself but to everyone who been bullied by Jess in the whole school
Eren came out his hiding spot and walked towards Eilene who’s been staring at the sky after Jess and the others left her alone
“Hey Eilene” Eren said to Eilene. Eilene suddenly started to shake and collapsed to her knees
“I was really scared Eren, but I did it. I stopped Jess from bullying me” she said to him
“You did, with your own strength” Eren smiled “I proud of you, Eilene”
“Yeah, I did it” Eilene continued to stare at the sky. Eren stared at the sky as well
Eilene gathered up all her courage “Hey Eren” Eilene said
“What is it?” Eren replied before Eilene kissed him gently on his cheek
Eren immediately turned red “Wait, did Eilene… KISSED ME?!” Eren panicked inside his mind
“Thank you for finding my strength, Eren” Eilene giggled as Eren blushed
But as Eren blushed, Eilene has been wondering something about Eren for past few days. Might as well ask now
“Hey Eren, can I ask you something?” Eilene returned into her shy persona. Her heart pounding fast
“Sure, ask anything” Eren said
Eilene blushed “Do you like me?” Eilene asked
“Huh?” Eren was caught off guard with Eilene’s question
“No, let me rephrase that. Do you love me?” Eilene said in seriousness

“What the hell?” Eren took a step back away from the fighting girls
May stood up “So you have a GIFT too” she replied to Eilene
“So what if I had one?” Eilene spat back. She can’t stand the fact that May almost killed her
May’s expression turned mad, “Looks like we’re going to have a looooong TALK, at what happened between you and Eren earlier” May completely angry at Eilene, her eyes glowing red
“I’m not giving up for Eren that easily” Eilene eyes starts glowing bright blue in jealousy
