Other governments issued special actions in regards to these incidents some are happily benifiting and the majority are hostile as their interests are being trespassed. There was a two to three foot thick stack of doc.u.ments placed in front of the man entitled president who was now in deep thought while he massaged the bridge of his nose.

“How about the missing nuclear heads and subs? How goes the investigation for those?”

“Sir we are not yet sure if these events are related to the events occurring worldwide but as the MO is very similar there is a high chance that they are indeed as we suspect. Again, this is a dead end. The black market doesn’t even have information on this. In fact, there’s no known black markets in operation anymore.”

The woman who was speaking clearly is quite nervous from the way she spoke but still stuck to her code as a professional and steeled her will. Her department was responsible for information but was unable to deliver in this very vital case that is occurring all over the world.

“What are the other powers take on this? China. Russia. North Korea. Germany. Israel. They just let it be?”

There was a quizzical look on the tired face of president Reagan. He must not have been able to rest for a long time to look like that.

“No sir they have proposed a discussion about these incidents in the summit next month, but some are proposing to have this meeting moved to an earlier date as it concerns the safety of all of humanity as we know it.”

“And why are we not having this meeting already?”

“There are complications. Some countries that are mostly those without a proper military force welcome these changes and doesn’t want to change the status quo. They are even threatening to leave the alliance if we went overboard with our investigations of these events. Unfortunately there are no such things as investigations as we don’t have anything or anyone to investigate.”

Sigh*

“Propose a closed meeting to the affected parties as soon as possible. Alright next Director Stockman.”

“Greetings everyone. Mr. President. Madam Weinberger. The economy is currently on the rise. The effects of the inflation has been amended and the employment rate is on the rise due to our new policies. This is a happy news for us, an international technology company called Ophir will release new computer models and telecom devices called O-phones among others within two months. Other companies have also sprouted over the past few years like Sheva and Tarshish who took the agricultural and real estate business by storm.”

“Good. Now make sure these companies are property leashed and monitored. Where are these companies based in again?”

“Hmmm…. Its the Philippines sir. They are mostly based in this archipelago while some are in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.”

“The Philippines? Asians? How’s our deal with the Marcoses?”

“Mr. Ferdinand is adamant on expelling our garrisoned troops and grasping control over the archipelago but was cooperative in terms of economy based deals. They have finished the construction of their nuclear power plant and investors from all over are flocking the place packed. The embargo we have negotiated with the middle east will now have minimal effects on their development. Soon the 1 million metric tons of gold reserve in their Central Bank will be used as basis for their “bagong lipunan” currencies and is expected to be of higher value than our dollar.”

The president was shocked by this reveal but he had more pressing issues to take care of.

“Have the CIA device some kind of nationalistic movement to overthrow the dictator. Make sure it happens within a year or two. I want this covert. We can’t have others being warier than they already are towards our intentions. Understood?”

The president was eyeing his foreign affairs minister George P. Shultz.

“Yes sir. Mr. President.”

“We are losing control people. We need to establish control as quickly as possible and somehow do something about this mysterious organisation that has been on our asses sabotaging our plans. Everyone dismissed I need some rest. Maybe you will need to replace me after this year this job is very stressful.”

These events are not just talked about in the US but the whole world. Control freaks are having headaches every now and then but are helpless towards these events. Most of the military forces are crippled due to the massive stealing of military supplies and funding. They each are only left with enough to operate properly without being able to act to greater levels of threat. Which are non existent as everyone is suffering from the same things. Well some aren’t really suffering but rejoicing really.

The world they know is forcefully at peace yet they can’t help but be weary at the looming unknown that is like the blade of Damocles hanging above their heads. Capable of reaping their lives at the whim of the controller.
