Harry Potter And The Demigods - Chapter 1 Valkorion
On the front deck of a luxurious timber manor, a boy could be seen staring at the heavenly constellation above.
“Valkorion? Are you still out there?” a female voice call out to the boy, jolted him up from his attentive study of the heavenly constellation. He look back toward the source of the voice, a beautiful woman could be seen standing near the door. Her most identifiable trait is her dark auburn hair, like the colour of maple leafs. Her porcelain like skin, and her deep set emerald eyes, seem to boost her beauty even further.
“It’s time for your shower little man, do you need mummy help?”
She ask her only son in anticipation for what’s about to happen next.
“Thank mum, but I can do it for myself”
The boy replied in a clear manner, severely disappointed her.
“If you ever need mommy help, you call, ok?”
She let out a small smile, sincerely hoping that he would call her.
Valkorion merely nodded his head, to his mother word. He got up from the muskoka chair, and walked toward the shower. His mother glance at his back all the way there.
It has been a few years since Valkorion had been reincarnated here. The memories of his previous life slowly fade away with time, but some memories always stay. The memories of the book he reads however, never fade. It prove quite a lot more useful in this world than the last.
When he first saw his mother performing magic with her wands, you could fit an eggs into his mouth. It has taken him quite a while to get used to the fact that magic exists, now it was a common occurrence. His lifestyles now depend on its. Intriguingly, the gods still exist in this world, and wizard commonly use their power to perform miracles. An interesting fact the books has forgot to mention, not that it matter.
The house was still quite a mess, the bathrooms still need a lot of fix up. The one he is in right now, has equipment spread out all over the place. House moving was never a neat task anyway, not to mention he has just move in two days ago. He sigh gently and started to take his clothes off.
The mirrors in the bathroom reflected his image, his appearance still took him by surprise sometime. On the surface of the mirror, a little boy can be clearly show. He have dark auburn hair like his mother, the wavy hair look like it’s on fire. Healthy olive colour skin, one of the rare inheritance from his father. His body was huge for a five year olds, a trait his mother said his father and grandfather both share. His face was sharp, and look to be carved out of stone, with no hint of imperfection. His eyes are storm grey, a manifestation of the storm itself.
A small smile crept up Valkorion face, he was always amaze at the genes of his new family. Look like this life he will have woman to spare.
After hopping out of the shower and into a pajamas, Valkorion walk to his bedroom.
The room was massive, but its content is empty. There were a few suitcase on the floor, and a queen size mattress. A few set of clothes can be seen on the floor, while his shoes can be seen at the far corner of the room.
Valkorion yawn tiredly, he slowly crawled forward to the bed. His mother somehow enter without him noticing, lays a thick layer of blankets on to him. She sit right next to him, her hand patting his head.
“I know moving has taken its toll on you, how about you go shopping with me tomorrow”
She said gently, her hand never stop patting Valkorion’s head. Her eyes fill with gentle light, as she continue to look at him.
Valkorion nodded tiredly at his mother, his eyes now slightly close. Vasenya look quite happy at her son agreement. Seeing his tired look, she kissed his forehead and quietly left the room.
It was seven o’clock the next morning when Valkorion woke up, he let out a refreshing yawn and go down stairs. His mother already cook him a full english breakfast, he can smell the delicious scent when he open the door. When his mother saw him, she immediately fill his platter with fries eggs and sausages. Valkorion took his time eating all the foods under Vasenya watchful eyes.
After they’ve finished their hearty meal, Vasenya grab a handful of floo powder. With one hand holding Valkorion, she stepped into the fireplace.
“DIAGON ALLEY”
Valkorion feel like he was squeezed in a tube, his inner organs shift and move repeatedly. His hand clamped down on to his mother, his teeth clenched. After a few minute he was out, standing inside an old dust filled pub.
The man and woman in weird long robes smiled lightly when they saw him rushed out of the fireplace. An old woman even offered him a chocolate frog, but he was in no shaped to receive her kind intention. His mother politely decline her kind intent. Grabbing his arm, Vasenya move to the back of the pub.
At the back of pub, there was a brick wall and a trash bin. Walking up to the trash bin, Vasenya located the correct brick under Valkorion worshipping gazes. When she tapped on it, a small hole appeared. The holes continue to grow larger, soon an arched way appear. Valkorion can see multitude of shops at the entrance, finally Diagon Alley.
Valkorion was constantly looking around, under the bemuse guise of his mother. The cobbled path of Diagon Alley lead straight down toward Gringott, on the side of the cobbled path many shops advertised their ware. He noticed a few shops he recognised like Eeylops Owl Emporium, Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour, Madam Malkin’s Robe for All Occasions. Other shops not so much, especially the high end one that was not usually shown.
Out of the corners of his eyes, Valkorion noticed an old shop. The golden letters has almost been peeled off, but you can still read the shop names. Ollivander: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C, Valkorion naturally leaned toward the shop. However, his mother does not noticed his wishes right now. Valkorion could only wishfully stare at the shop.
Finally, his mother stop in front of a massive building. The multistoried building were quite imposing to look at, the marbled that the building was made out off make it look lavish. This is the safest building in the wizarding world. Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
