Harry Potter And The Rise Of Golden Falcon - Chapter 61
Harry’s magic was going wild as he continued with his outburst. Many of the delicate stuff like teacups shattered, broke or wildly thrown off.
Accidental magic usually happens only when a wizard or a witch is in great emotional distress. By looking at the amount of wild and uncontrolled magic which is wreaking havoc in Dumbledore’s office, one can easily guess his current emotional state and the good part (for me at least) is that all his anger is directed directly at the Dumbledore.
But Harry is not the only one who is angry. McGonagall looked like she was about to pop a vein in her forehead and looked like that it is only due to years of experience and control which is holding her back from hexing Dumbledore to the next week.
I too supported a solemn look on my face. I mean it would have been really tragic if anyone of them caught me grinning from ear to ear like a fool at this time, so of course, I also played my part and condemned Dumbledore for his deplorable actions with my facial expressions like the other two, rather professionally I might add.
Though that’s not all. Seeing that Harry’s uncontrolled magic was already doing all this damage, I wandlessly and discretely, of course, broke and shattered many of the things in his office including the trinkets and devices he had with Harry’s blood to track and monitor Harry at all times.
I mean seriously, what the hell?
I previously thought that it was only Order’s members who were stalking him in his summers but Dumbledore took it to a whole new level with these precise monitoring artifacts which track his position, magical, physical and emotional condition at all times.
Anyway, since I destroyed all of his Artefacts, be won’t be able to track Harry from now on. Considering Harry’s anger and mistrust towards currently, I doubt Harry will give him more of his blood to make new ones.
Actually, now that I think about it, this might be a great opportunity for me to replace Dumbledore’s place and establish myself as the go-to guy in Harry’s perspective. Hmm, a plan is already starting to form in my mind. I can offer Harry the combat training, which Dumbledore never provided him since I already know that he is going to need it when he goes Horcrux hunting in the near future. This way, Every time he fights, he will be reminded that it was me who taught him to fight and hold his ground. Also, unlike Dumbledore who hid information from him, I can give him a few bits and pieces of information, enough to keep satisfied and trusting towards me.
While I was busy making future plans, Harry’s outburst was starting to end. Not unusual, as he should be almost exhausted due to the uncontrolled magic he was throwing around unconsciously during his outburst.
By now, Dumbledore’s office looked like a that a hurricane had gone through here ( a large part of because of me. I admit that might have gone a bit overboard). Everything was a mess with many things broken, shattered and tossed around. Though it was the broken Artefacts which were used to monitor Harry, that attracted rather pathetically sad looks from him ( I mentally pat myself on the back for that).
Once the Outburst died down Dumbledore started with a sad look on his face,
“Harry, my boy, I am sorry that I hid this from you, but believe me, I only did it because there is no way to remove the Voldemort’s piece of soul from forehead without your death. I only did this because I wanted to let you have a normal childhood for as long as possible—”
Surprisingly, it wasn’t Harry but McGonagall that cut him off, “What normal childhood Albus? Didn’t you hear what Professor Canis said? He has Malnutrition, broken bones and various scars, which means he was abused at his house. I told you, Albus, many years ago when you placed him with those horrible muggles that they were not good people but you didn’t listen. Even when I asked you about him after that, you always told me that you were regularly checking up on him and that he was doing okay. Tell me, how was that a normal childhood for him to enjoy? Not to mention that you didn’t even take me to healers to get proper vaccinations because you thought that he didn’t need it since he was not going to live long enough anyway.”
“You need to understand Minerva, I only did it for the greater good. Harry needed protection which only the blood wards around his house could provide due to his blood relations with his aunt. Besides, I tried very hard but alas found no way to remove Voldemort’s soul from his forehead.”
Alright, finally it’s my time to shine.
