Haru’s Love (A Stepbrothers BL Harem) - Chapter 112
It was embarrassing as hell to wake up naked and find myself sharing a bed with three men. Granted, those three men were my own stepbrothers and now boyfriends and we had known each other and lived together for years, but…
But it was still damn embarrassing, especially when I was being held tightly by not only Noah but Mason, too. These two. It was like they were competing each other for me or something, and I swore I could not breathe properly.
My gaze fixed on the sleeping Noah, I slowly shifted myself at the same time I removed his arm from around me. Luckily, he didn’t stir nor did I wake him up, and once I was released from his tight embrace, I turned my attention to Mason next, removing his arm from around me, too.
Freed, I sat up and puffed out a sigh of relief. A chuckle came my way. I looked over to see Aiden already showered and dressed, sitting on the sofa watching me. He had one leg crossed over the others, and his chin was resting on his hand. He greeted me with a smile on his lips. “Morning.”
Flushing hot on the cheeks, I replied, “Morning.”
Suddenly, everything that had happened last night came flashing back to me, and I felt more than a little mortified. I couldn’t believe how gung ho I had been last night at going all out with Aiden, Noah, and Mason. It must be that little alcohol I had accidentally drunk, I decided.
Aiden signaled for me to come to him with his finger, a smirk on his face. Like a pup, I got on my hands and knees and crawled out of bed, and once my feet were on the floor, I walked—naked—over to him.
He pulled me into his arms, me sitting on his lap. I asked, “Was it hard sleeping? Because we have too many people in the same bed?”
He nodded. “Mm-hmm.” He chuckled. “I don’t think we should repeat that, the sleeping part I mean. What happened before that, however, we should definite repeat, many times, I think.”
And here I thought he disliked sharing me with Noah and Mason.
“Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like it much that I have to share you with them,” he said as if to answer my unspoken thoughts. “But…” He smiled darkly, his eyes twinkling, and I knew what he meant.
I leaned forward and planted my lips on his, kissing him softly. When I moved back, I said, “Right, I should shower and get dressed. We have to check out by ten at the latest, right?”
He nodded. “Mm-hmm. We’ll check out before that and get some breakfast, too, before going back to the cottage.”
“Sounds good,” I said and then got up from his lap and rushed off into the bathroom.
In the shower, I enjoyed my time, and it felt great having warm water pounding down on my skin. When I was done five minutes later, I dried myself and it was only then that I widened my eyes.
Shit! Clothes. Did that mean I had to wear that kimono again? Because I didn’t have any of my own clothes with me.
No way! Okay, I needed to calm down. First, there was no way I was going to wear that kimono again, especially after the hot, sexy session last night. And second, getting me my own clothes should be easily done. I’d just have to ask Aiden to drive to the cottage and fetch them for me.
Nodding my head at that sound solution, I wrapped the towel around my waist and headed out the door. I came to a stop in front of Aiden who was still sitting on the sofa and typing away on his phone, probably emailing someone or something. Aiden raised his head when he noticed me and did a once-over on me. With a smile on his face, he asked, “Do you want help with putting the kimono on?”
I widened my eyes. Did that mean he had no plans on driving back to the cottage to retrieve my clothes for me?
I shook my head. “Aiden, would you—”
“Take off the towel, Haru,” Noah said from behind me. “You’re ruining my morning.”
I turned to see him getting off the bed and barging toward me. Close, he grabbed for the towel around my waist, and without so much as a by-your-leave, he pulled it away from me and threw it behind him onto the bed. Within an instant, I was butt naked again, and I glared.
“What the hell, Noah?” I snapped. “Give that back.” I reached for the towel.
Noah would have none of it and wrapped his arms around me. Then he hauled me high, my feet in the air. I shrieked as he dumped me onto the bed and then he, too, came down after me, burying me between him and the soft mattress underneath.
He snuggled his face against the nape of my neck as he hugged me tight. “Fuck, you smell so good.”
Damn, but I could feel his hard, hot body against mine. But of course, I wasn’t going to be swayed by that sexy body of his or his demanding needs. We needed to get ready and check out, after all. The others would be wondering where we were.
“Idiot Noah!” I said. “Get off me! We have to check out soon. I swear if you don’t move yourself, I’ll bite.”
“Bite?” Noah raised his head and looked at me long and hard. “You’re going to bite me?”
The twinkle in his eyes and the expression on his face clearly indicated he doubted my conviction.
“I’m mean it, Noah,” I said firmly.
He grinned at me, and I just knew he was going to do something to stir me up again.
He did when I saw him descending his face toward me, and then he claimed my lips, kissing me full-out. He even demanded my lips to part for him by thrusting his tongue out eagerly.
I obliged, opening my mouth, and then I sunk my teeth against his flesh. He pulled back at lightning speed.
I smiled smugly at him, watching the horror look in his eyes and slight mark of my teeth on his lip.
“Holy fuck!” he said. “You really bit me.”
On the other side of the room, I heard Aiden burst out laughing. Mason, too, on the other side of the bed.
“You deserve it,” Mason said. “Won’t you at least listen to our princess once in a while?”
Princess? Me?
I pushed Noah away from me, and the man—still looking damn stunned—fell back onto the bed.
Freed, I snatched up the towel and wrapped it around me. Hands on my hips, I demanded, “Right, which one of you two are going to go back to the cottage and get me some clothes?”
Mason asked, “Clothes? What about the kimono?”
My face blushing hot, I said, “I’m not going to wear that again.”
Fifteen minutes later, I found myself wearing the kimono, again, though this time without the wig.
I glanced at the blond mass sitting on the side of the sofa. I had taken it off last night before taking a shower and I had sworn then that I would never wear it again, ever, despite how Aiden, Noah, and Mason found how sexy I was with it on my head.
I went to sit on the sofa, fuming. Those idiot boyfriends of mine! In the end, none of them went to get me my clothes. How inconsiderate of them.
Noah came to sit beside me and wrapped his arms around me. “You’re so cute when you’re angry.”
I turned to glare at him. Despite me being pissed at him, I couldn’t help myself and burst out laughing. His lower lip was red and swollen from that bite I had given him.
“Stop laughing,” Noah said. “It still hurts, you know.” He cupped my chin and suggested, “How about a kiss to help it heal faster?”
“How about another bite?” I retorted.
“Haru,” he said. “You’re a cute little devil, aren’t you?” He narrowed his eyes as he continued, “You’ll be paying for it when it gets better, you understand that, right?”
Yes, I understood that. Had expected it, in fact.
“Right, let’s get going,” Aiden said as he opened the door.
I got off the seat and headed over to Mason, who was waiting for us. He wrapped his arm around me and we both headed out the door, Noah following behind us.
It was an hour and a half later when we arrived back at the cottage, and I dreaded having to meet everyone and anyone. I just wanted to sneak upstairs and quickly change from the kimono.
No such luck, however, as the moment the car was parked in the front courtyard, Isaac and Jess came running over. Reo was by the door, watching us. I suspected everyone was in the living room, waiting for our return so we could leave.
My face was hot and probably crimson red as I got out of the car. I was just shutting the door when Isaac was beside me, wrapping his arms around me.
“Haru, I’m so glad you’re okay,” he said. “I was so worried. I mean Reo told me you, Aiden, Noah, and Mason left the Princetons’ house early last night, but I thought you guys would be at the cottage.” He moved back as he continued. “Though I knew you’d be all right and having a fun time doing erotic stuff, I was still worried, you know. You should have at least texted me.”
“Sorry,” I said, feeling slightly guilty. But I hadn’t been thinking straight last night; that was for sure. All I had wanted was Aiden, Noah, and Mason, and nothing else mattered.
Jess said, “I’m glad you’re okay. I saw you left last night with Mason so I knew everything was fine.” She turned to Noah and said, “What happened to your lip, Noah?”
The man chuckled. “A bee stung me.”
Isaac asked, flabbergasted, “On the lip?”
Mason burst out laughing. “Yeah, I saw it with my own eyes. A bee stung him. The bee was very cute though.” He turned his gaze to me and then winked.
I felt my heart skip a beat. Fuck, he was gorgeous. I turned away and said, “I need to get out of this kimono.”
With the wig in my hand, I rushed to the door. As I passed Reo, he ruffled my hair as he asked, “Everything worked out all right?”
I had the feeling he was asking about me and Mason. He knew?
I nodded. “Mm-hmm.”
“Then I’m glad.”
Upstairs, I quickly got changed and then started packing. I was just wondering what I should do with the kimono and the wig—leaving it here for Sakura to pick up or drop it off at Princeton Mason—when Aiden came in. He must have seen the neatly folded kimono on the bed when he said, “Sakura told me you can keep them.”
I widened my eyes. “The kimono?”
He nodded. “The socks, shoes, and wig, too.”
Nope, I didn’t want to keep them and said, “No, I’ll give them back.”
“Keep them, Haru,” he said. He came to stand behind me and wrapped his arms around me, his chest warm and hard against my back. He whispered into my ear, which made my knees weak. “You look very exotic and sexy in those. I want to see you wearing them again.”
I turned slightly to look at him and nodded. “Okay,” I said.
He smiled, looking damn pleased, his eyes twinkling. Then he kissed me on the lips. “I love you,” he said.
“I love you, too,” I replied.
Mason
“Can we talk for a bit?” Mason asked.
Elizabeth looked up from her cup of tea, a gloomy expression on her face. Slowly, she nodded. “Yeah.”
The two headed out of the cottage to the back garden. Under the cherry blossom tree, Mason didn’t beat about the bush and said, “I’m in a relationship with Haru.”
Elizabeth tugged her hair behind her ear, her eyes down. “Really? And you’re telling me this why?”
“Because I thought you should know,” he said. “I hope we’re still friends.”
She snorted. “I don’t think that’s possible, Mason.” She raised her head and looked up at the sky. “Fuck, it hurts so much. I can’t believe you’d choose a boy over me, and he’s your stepbrother at that.” She finally looked at him then. “You done?”
Mason nodded.
Without a word, she turned on her heel and headed back into the cottage.
An hour later, they left the cottage. Four hours after that, they finally arrived back at the apartment. The moment they entered through the door, Isaac collapsed on the sofa.
“Ahh… I’m beat,” he groaned.
“Even though you were just sitting around?” Reo chuckled.
“Still beat,” Isaac said. “But the last four days were super fun.”
Haru came to sit beside him, Aki by his feet. “I need some sleep.”
Isaac chuckled. “You didn’t get much last night, eh?”
Haru got himself a throw pillow and laid his head on it as he said, “Not really.” Then he proceeded to close his eyes.
Aiden, who had picked up the mail when they came in, was currently checking through it. He came across the thick A4 sized packaging, which had Mason’s name on it. He said, “Mason, this is for you.”
Mason saw the parcel and took it from the brother’s hand. “Thanks.” Turning on his heel and with his backpack with him, he headed up the stairs.
In his bedroom, he left his backpack on the floor and sat on the bed. Then he opened the envelope, his heart racing a little.
He took out some papers and then started reading through them. Suddenly, his hands grasped the papers harder, and he felt his throat tighten with emotions.
A few knocks came at the door and Haru’s voice came through. “Mason?”
Mason quickly put away the documents in the drawer of his study desk and then said, “Come in.”
The door opened, and Haru poked his head in, Aki in his arms. “Hey,” he said, a grin on his face. “Just wondering if you’re okay.”
Mason frowned. Why would the boy be worried about him?
Haru came into the room and took a seat on the man’s bed. Stroking Aki’s soft fur, he continued. “You looked a bit worried when you left the living room earlier. Is everything all right? That envelope, was it from the university?”
Mason raked his fingers through his hair. So, Haru was concerned about him, eh? That pleased him more than he liked to admit.
He sat down on the bed next to the boy and pulled him into his arms. “Yeah, everything is fine.” He planted a kiss on Haru’s forehead. “I love you.”
Grinning, Haru said, “I love you, too. You’re welcome to burden me with your worries and problems. Even though I can’t guarantee I’ll be of any help, I’ll listen.”
Mason felt emotion stir inside him. Fuck, but he loved this boy. He cupped Haru’s face and then kissed him passionately.
God, would it destroy Haru when he found out the truth of the past, of the incident that day? Or that, in fact, they had never been officially stepbrothers for the past six years? How would he react when he found out that their parents had officially divorced, thus breaking their familial bond only a week before their accident?
Mason didn’t know. Now, he only knew that he loved this boy and he’d cherish every moment of them together, and he was never going to leave the boy’s side come hell or high water.
