HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS
(ROAD THROUGH CONFUSION)
“I know, what I am doing,” Sir Albert responds, deep sighing as he calms his self from bursting out in anger because of Sir Michael doubting the Marquis family.
“But, master,” Sir Michael called, still felt worried and anxious.
“Don’t worry. I got things under control. If things went out of my league, then I will be the one who will dispatch them,” Sir Albert responds, trying to ease Sir Michael worried.
“As you wish, master. No matter what happened, we will be here to aid and always ready to give support to you at all cost,” Sir Michael mentions, making Sir Albert feel glad and thankful to have built such a humble and loyal people into his side.
“Mn, go back to your all quarter and rest. I will see you and the others later at dawn,” Sir Albert mentions.
“As you wish, master,” Sir Michael responds, bowing, then turned his back and gets out into Sir Albert’s office, strolling inside the hidden part of the art store to meet the others.
From the time Sir Michael goes out into his office. Sir Albert then release a heaving sigh and touch his forehead, feeling tired and stress.
“Haiyo, all of this is making me frustrated and annoyed. I don’t like it,” Sir Albert utter while his other free hand is griping tight into his pen, subconsciously breaking it into two.
‘Hmm?’ Sir Albert wonders as he gazes down at his hands with an innocent eye, then jolted awake from his irritated self.
“…Ahh, ha… now I break an innocent pen,” Sir Albert utter as he sighs in distress.
‘I need to calm a bit. I can’t let Sir Aloit saw my rough side later,” Sir Albert mentions, standing out from his chair then went out from his office to get inside his chamber and rest.
“Ahh… maybe all I need is rest to ease my thoughts and worries a bit,” He mumbled as slumber hugged him, then he falls asleep in peace.
On the other location, Sir Michael had already arrived into their hiding quarter inside the art store and greet his not related brothers.
“How’s your task, Sir Michael?” Lay asks, striding close to him while the other only sat at the chair in front of the dining table with a plain expression.
“Lay, Ongi, and Fen?” Sir Michael mentions in surprised.
“Yoh,” Ongi positioned his hand into a hi, then smiles.
“Welcome back,” Fen reply in between his sore and deep voice.
“Yo-why are you guys still up?” Sir Michael asks.
“Sir Michael, how’s your task?” Lay ask again, which made Sir Michael averted his gaze back to Lay and forget his thoughts for a while.
“It went well. Wheres Vin and Clark?” Sir Michael asks upon not seeing his two other brothers.
“Oh, they went to sleep already,” Lay answered with an innocent smile.
“I see. Why are you guys still have not gone to sleep?” Sir Michael asked, remembering back his words a minute ago while putting his undergarments to the hanging cloth stand beside the door.
“We wait for you to come back to make sure you arrive back home safe,” Fen responds to Sir Michael’s question while he stands out from the chair, then strives towards where they’re standing.
“Is Lay idea,” Ongi inserted, making Sir Michael chuckled and sigh.
“Haiyo, you all don’t have to worry about me. But, thank you. You all can retire back to your all each room now,” Sir Michael responds while patting Sir Lay’s head two times like he’s still a kid.
“Okay, good night then,” Ongi reply waving his hand as a goodbye, then went inside his room, leaving the three people inside the room.
“Did you guys transfer your birds at the back alley?” Sir Michael asks while striding towards the wooden chair inside the room.
“Mn,” Fen answer while Lay went over to his side, standing.
“Did Clark and Vin fought while I was away earlier?” Sir Michael asks.
“No, after our all dinner earlier, they never once go out to their room,” Lay answer.
“I see, okay. You two go and rest to your room also,” Sir Michael reply.
“Okay, but what about you?” Lay asks, concern.
“I will be guarding the area tonight and will prepare the things later,” Sir Michael mentions, making his young two brothers curious.
“Why is your task has not ended yet?” Lay ask.
“Of course, our task will never end. We are Lord Albert knight. Our task to guard and to serve him will never end until we die,” Sir Michael mentions, making his two younger brothers groan and uncomfortable.
“Okay, we will go and rest now. Good night Sir Michael,” Lay reply.
“Wait,” Sir Michael stops them from living for a while as he looks at them with a plain expression.
“No matter what our Lord says later. I want you two to accept it wholeheartedly, understand?” Sir Michael mentions, which made his junior brothers confused and curious.
“Why?” Lay ask.
“I can’t tell you two because I don’t have the authority to say it. But, I want you two to wake up your brothers when dawn started to rise, understand?” Sir Michael responds, making his two brothers even more curious.
“Why? Where are you going?” Lay asks, wondering.
“I will be with Lord Albert when dawn starts to strike, and we will have a guest. So, I leave everything to you two later, okay?” Sir Michael responds.
“Huh?” Lay showed a confused face to him.
“Haiya, everything will be clear later at dawn. Go now and rest, you two,” Sir Michael reply waving his hands to choo his two junior brothers back to their room to sleep.
“Fen, remind Lay about the task I gave you two later, okay?” Sir Michael added.
“Mn,” Fen replies with a nod, then the two leave, went inside their room, and rest while Sir Michael continue sitting at the chair in front of the dining table, worried and concern about his brother’s situation once one of them got to pick to become, Yerre knight.
“Haiya… I hope Lord Albert do get this under control,” Sir Michael mumble as he drowned his face to her hands, feeling stress and worried.
Five hours have passed, all roasters start to sings. The wind is dance like an unbothered sea while the moon takes its switch its rule to the sun. Tress drummed a different hymn while the flowers pluck a newborn flesh. Dawn has arrived, and the people they expect to meet it has now in one room gathering for their conclave.
“So, what is it?” Sir Aloit asks while sitting at the couch inside Sir Albert’s room while the six knights only stood beside Sir Albert with a plain and calm expression.
“The next two days, you will be serving the Astrod family, right?” Sir Albert asks while he’s sitting at his chair inside his office.
“Yes, I am,” Sir Aloit answer.
“Did you already have a planned on how to explain things to Lady Vendia?” Sir Albert mentions.
“No, but you don’t have to worry about that. I will do it my way,” Sir Aloit reply.
“Okay,”
“Mn, so moving on. Why you ask me to come here to your store today?” Sir Aloit ask.
“Before I explain everything. I want you to meet my six trusted knights,” Sir Michael announcing the presence of his six knights’ inside the room.
“This is Sir Michael, my right-hand man. You meet him already,” Sir Michael introduce Sir Michael to Sir Aloit first.
“Yes, we meet earlier,” Sir Aloit responds.
“Em, this is Sir Clark, my left-hand man, together with Sir Vin, Sir Lay, Sir Ongi, and Sir Fen,” Sir Michael continues introducing his people to Sir Aloit by their skills, capability, endurance, and personality.
“All of them are good at planning in war, scheming, killing, combat, observing, and all of them own animals that also skilled in spying, delivering the message, and pretending. Each of my people has abilities to talk to animals too,”
“And so, what are you trying to imply to me?” Sir Aloit ask.
“You ask for me to help you find your substitute for a meantime, so here it is,” Sir Michael reply.
“You want me to pick one of your people to be Vendia knight?” Sir Aloit asks, surprised.
“Yes,” Sir Michael answer.
“But if you do that, the person I will be picking can no longer serve you again,” Sir Aloit speak out his worries, which made Sir Albert people frown and groaned in discomfort.
“It’s okay. I know the person you pick will be in good hands. His serving my friend Lady Vendia after all,” Sir Michael respond.
‘Aish! This idiot, how can he trust people that easily!’ Sir Aloit thought, annoyed, then deep sigh.
“Are you sure you’re going to surrender one of your people to the Marquis family?” Sir Aloit ask for assurance.
“Of course. I don’t have worries if I give my people to you all because I know they will be in good hands,” Sir Michael responds.
‘How can you be so sure! This idiot! Ugh! I can’t deal with this, so let’s choose fast and leave!’ Sir Aloit thought.
“Okay, but I can’t choose by only looking at them. I want to see your knight’s capability and ability myself. So, tomorrow morning at six, let’s all meet up at my place and taste you all out. The person who will win at the task I appoint to you all will be the person who will serve Lady Vendia as her new appointed knight,” Sir Aloit mentions, but Sir Albert knights don’t have reactions, which made Sir Aloit uncomfortable and feel awkward.
“Aiyo! You don’t need to do that. They’re all already trained and professional, so you can go ahead, choose one,” Sir Albert responds, and Sir Aloit heave a sigh before he replies.
“Okay, okay,”
‘This idiot, can’t you see? Your people don’t want to be part of the Marquis family! Aish! Whatever, I don’t have a choice. I need someone besides Vendia all the time to keep her safe, so. I have to choose one even if they don’t want to be one of the Marquis knights,’ Sir Aloit thought.
“You!” Sir Aloit pointed at Sir Lay, who flinch and give a surprised expression to him.
“Y-yes?” Sir Lay asks as he stuttered from surprise, making Sir Aloit think otherwise.
“You want Sir Lay to Lady Vendia knight?” Sir Michael asks for assurance. Sir Aloit is about to answer when a sore and deep voice butt in like an alarm.
To be continue.
