He/Heroine And My Villainess - Chapter 194
HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS
(STRENGTH OF ONCE WARMTH)
After Angela’s visit, Mia then headed back inside the mansion to deliver the letter to Yerre. She strides in the hallway for three minutes in haste, then arrived outside the entrance door of Lady Vendia chamber.
But before she could knock on the door, a familiar voice ring beside her, making her flinch and startled from surprise. When she turned to see who it was, her face then showed fear and anxiousness. But she hides it in.
“M-madam,” She utter stuttering from the uneasiness she felt inside. Madam Rose looks at her with a bewildered expression before she replies.
“Do you need something from your young miss?” Madam Rose asks.
“U-uh? O-oh, um, yes, Madam,” Mia reply stuttering a lot which made Madam Rose felt like something is off, but she shoved it away and respond to Mia.
“Okay, you get inside then,”
“Yes, Madam,” Mia responded, sighing inside her thoughts as she knocks on the door while Madam Rose is beside her waiting for the door to open. She relaxed as they wait outside, then the door got open by Mary.
“Mia? M-madam,” Mary mentions in surprised. She opens the door wide, then Mia and Madam Rose went inside. Madam Rose looks straight at Mary then asks.
“Where your Miss?”
“She is inside her guest room having tea and snacks,” Mary responded, but before the three of them can go towards the guest room, Yerre went out, then greet them.
“Mother? Are you done talking with father and Sir Aloit?” Yerre asks with wondering eyes.
“Yes, but your father wants to see you back to the living room. Are you okay now?” Madam Rose asks with concerned eyes.
‘No, I’m not okay knowing Sir Aloit is going to be a knight of Astrod kingdom. I’m not okay,’ Yerre thought while her heart starts to feel invisible sorrow again. She smiles at Lady Vendia mother and releases a lie reply to her.
“Yes, don’t worry, Mother,”
“That’s good to hear,” Madam Rose reply with a relief eye and smile.
“Oh, Mia, go tell your Miss what you need to her,” Madam Rose added, making Mia jolted awake from her anxiousness.
“Mia? You want something from me?” Yerre asks while Mia only looks at her with an uncomfortable feeling, which made her suspect something. Yerre looks at Mia’s nervous eyes and face. Yerre thinks through her behavior and expression as if something is missing, then she figured.
‘Alda,’ She thought. She looks at Mia, who also looks at her with a signaled gesture using her eyes. Mary looks at them then suspect something is off, but she shoved it away.
Yerre looks back at Madam Rose then smiles.
“Mother, I think Mia is shy to say what she wants from me. Can I ask for you and Mary to go out for a while?” Yerre requested with a gentle tone of voice as she gives out a smile. Madam Rose looks towards Mia, then back to her daughter, nodding.
“Okay, Mary and I will wait outside for you two to finished talking,” Madam Rose replied.
“Okay, thank you for your consideration, Mother,” Yerre reply as Madam Rose and Mary then went out, closing the door behind. Yerre then grabbed Mia’s left wrest and dragged her inside the guest room.
When they arrived at the room, Mia then grabbed out the letter from her cloths pocket, handed it over to Yerre in haste. Yerre opens it and reads what’s inside in pace because she can’t make her mother and Mary wait outside for too long, or it will cost something suspicious.
In the letter, Alda mentions that she will be visiting early tonight because she has something. She wants to discuss this with her. Alda didn’t write Yerre name inside. What she wrote inside is Lady Vendia name. She could not put their real name, for the person in the mission to deliver the letter is their servants, whom they need to keep until the time comes for them to let go of them.
Yerre thank Mia then put the letter inside her chest to keep it hidden from anyone. She does not have faith in hiding the letter in her room or any drawer because other servants are assigned. To clean Lady Vendia room, she does not know which area is restricted to clean and not restricted.
‘Is better to be safe,’ Yerre thought, touching her chest that has a letter. Mia looks at her with a determined face then nod.
The two of them headed out from the guest room, then stride back to the chamber. Mia went close to the entrance door, open it wide for the two-person who waits outside. Mia bowed, smile at Madam Rose, then leave. Mary and Madam Rose went back inside.
“Mary, you can clean my guest room now. I will be going to the living room,” Yerre mentions to Mary, who nods then went inside the guest room to tidy and clean things inside while Madam Rose and Yerre are the only people left inside the chamber.
“Mother, let’s go?” Yerre added with a bright smile. Madam Rose then leaves the chamber with her daughter going towards their guest living room, leaving Mary inside, who cleans the guest room.
The two of them strode to the hallway side by side until they arrived outside the living room. Madam Rose patted her daughter’s shoulder then smile as she utters a goodbye, for she has something to do back to her chamber for a while.
Yerre nod with a smile, then Madam Rose turned away as she strides back to her quarter, leaving Yerre alone outside, sighing. Yerre stands outside the door for three seconds until she gains the strength and confidence to knocks on the door.
“Come in,” Lord Marthen respond to her knock. She held the doorknob and went inside, closing the door from behind. Yerre wandered her eyes inside the room and saw Sir Aloit still inside, sitting at the couch with an inspirited aura and face wet from tears.
Yerre heartfelt heaving upon seeing Sir Aloit state, but she hides it in as she looks straight at Lady Vendia father, then walks over to the separate couch and sat.
“What is it, Father?” Yerre ask.
“I call you here because your uncle still has not finished explaining things to you,” Lord Marthen mentions.
“I want you. To fully understand your uncle’s intentions and situations,” Lord Marthen added.
“There’s no need for a long discussion, father. I already understand. There’s nothing I can do about it anymore. It’s has been done already, but are you sure that I am allowed to visit anytime there, uncle?” Yerre looks at Sir Aloit, who raises his head in surprise and relief.
“Are you sure that I can visit you anytime?” Yerre aks again as her lungs felt hot and heavy. Her emotions start to flood in again, but she holds them in.
“Mn, the King says so. I never lie to you, right?” Sir Aloit answered with an exhausted smile from crying. Yerre nod and turned to look at Lady Vendia father as her breath start to tremble because of the sadness she felt. She breathes in, trying to control her emotions and speak.
“Don’t worry, your uncle here is powerful. No harm will come at him,” Lord Marthen mentions as he saw her daughter’s eyes glitter from sadness and worried.
“Mn!” Yerre respond with the voice a bit raising from restraining herself from crying again. She gulps and breath in the heavy feelings she felt, the anxiousness and worried she felt for Sir Aloit. She gathered herself before she turned to Sir Aloit once again and stood out from the couch, giving out a gentle but warm smile. She walks over to where Sir Aloit is, then hugs him.
“Uncle,” Yerre called as Sir Aloit hug her back from her waist.
“Hm?” Sir Aloit respond.
“I will miss you,” Yerre mentions, still holding her emotions inside.
“I know, uncle will miss you so much too. But you know I’m not that far. Visit me whenever you want, okay?” Sir Aloit reply breaking the restraining power that Yerre hold inside. She cries once again, and Sir Aloit heard it. Lord Marthen looks at them in vain.
‘I’m sorry, I, your father does not know how to solve this matter,’ Lord Marthen apologize in his thought as he turned his face away from them, then he also starts to cry.
A room meant for entertainment and receiving guest, are now filled with cries and a heavy atmosphere. Yerre bawls for one hour as Sir Aloit held her into his arms like a five-year-old child who needs a pamper until she falls asleep like a baby.
Sir Aloit wait for five minutes before he stood out from the couch, carrying Yerre in a bridal style. Lord Marthen has already stopped crying, also stood out from his chair and went over to Sir Aloit.
“I will put her back to her room,” Sir Aloit mentions.
“Let’s go. I will also be going to retire back to my chamber. I am already tired,” Lord Marthen responds, and Sir Aloit nod.
On the way, two of them didn’t speak. The way back to the chamber is quiet and silent but full of comfort and easiness. Lord Marthen could not imagine that his friend for long years, we’re now staying at the unshakeable place called a kingdom.
He felt the same emotion his daughter has. But he never wavers because her trust his friend when Sir Aloit said he be fine. Then he will be. His words were not for showing it also for acting. Lord Marthen gazed at Sir Aloit and thought full of confidence and assurance.
‘This sharp and wise man will never weaken and will never be defeated,’
Not long and they then arrived, Lord Marthen open the door for Sir Aloit, but he didn’t enter. He bid goodbye to Sir Aloit after opening the door and went back to his chamber. Because he felt tired from crying and thinking earlier, the emotions exhaust the mind, and the body will react.
Sir Aloit went to lay Yerre to the bed, then after walking back to the door, closing it. Sir Aloit went back to Yerre after closing the door then sat on the right side of the bed. He stares at Yerre peaceful expression while she sleeps for a second, then covered her waist level with a blanket.
When his done tucking Yerre to her room, he stood up and was about to leave. But a strong wind enters the room out of nowhere, making the terrace glass door open.
Lady Vendia has come back, call out Sir Aloit, but he could not hear her. Vendia went close to Sir Aloit, then hug him. But she only went through him as Sir Aloit walk over to the glass door and close it with no mind that Vendia is standing at his back crying.
“Uncle, I am here. I heard that you are going to serve the Astrod kingdom soon. Uncle, you never change. You still think of others before yourself. Uncle, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I left without you seeing me for the last time, uncle, uncle, I am so happy to see you again,” Vendia mentions between her voice full of pain and longingness. Sir Aloit felt like something cold wrap around his body as he feels shivered.
To be continued.
