He/Heroine And My Villainess - Chapter 208
HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS
(WHEN FATE COLLIDE EVERYTHING WILL BE PUT ON SEEN)
The window through the guest room was open, making the cold wind pass and enter inside, making the two people shiver from the cold breeze and feeling unease.
The fortune teller still looks so young, like she is still in her late twenties and her height is five point one, which means Cathlen is taller than her. She had a slim triangle-shaped body, sky blue eyes, curly long brown hair, and pure facial features, which made Alda think.
‘Is this the fortune teller that Yerre was talking about? She looks young and innocent, ‘
Mrs. Tilda stood up from the couch, unveiled her cloak hood and went over to Alda as she wore a gentle smile. Then, with no warning, she hugged her into her arms and said.
“You’ve grown into a beautiful young lady. I’m so glad to see you again, ”
Alda was stunned by her surprised actions and she stiffened in her position for two seconds before she got back into her senses and pretended to miss the fortune teller. She hugged her back and said.
“I’m so glad to see you well, Mrs. Tilda,”
Their hug session didn’t take long as they then sat down on a separate couch with a table in the middle, making them three meters away from each other. Mrs. Tilda looks at Alda’s back and notices Sir Arnold looking at her with a straight face, which makes her curious and asks.
“Is he your knight?”
“Yes, he is. My father asked me to bring one. Why? Are you uncomfortable seeing him join us Mrs. Tilda? ” Alda’s answer made Mrs. Tilda shocked and replied in panic.
“N—no, it’s okay. It’s okay, I am fine with it, ”
“Okay,” Alda responded with a nod, but inside she sensed the uncomfortable feeling that Mrs. Tilda held towards Sir Arnold’s prescense inside the room. Mrs. Tilda sighed, then smiled back at her and the entrance door to the guest room got a knock, making them surprised.
“Who is it?” Alda asked loudly.
“Milady, we bring you light food and dessert,” the servants respond outside.
“Okay, come in,” Alda responded to the knock, and the door was then opened by one maid while the other two maids held the food tray, pushing it inside the guest room.
When they entered, the three maids then arranged each cuisine and dessert to their respective places, and while they were busy doing their work, Alda and Mrs. Tilda continued their discussion, bringing up the issue of Lady Cathlen’s broken engagement, which made Alda very uncomfortable.
“I see, my father already told you what happened,” Alda responded.
“Yes, and I can’t help but feel weird about it. I wonder what has gone wrong, “Mrs. Tilda mentions with a face full of doubt and curiosity. Alda’s brows furrowed for a second as she looked at Mrs. Tilda with an irritated feeling. She already knew what she meant by her words, but she still pursued her sentence with questions, pretending like she was unaware.
“What do you mean by your words, Mrs. Tilda?”
Mrs. Tilda looked straight at Alda’s fake innocent eyes for a second, then lean closer to the table and asked in a whispered tone of voice.
“Tell me, is Lady Vendia still giving you a hard time? Is she the reason why your engagement to the prince fell into a catastrophe? ”
Alda couldn’t help but feel more irritated about Mrs. Tilda’s words because she knew that the Vendia she was talking about was Yerre and not the real Vendia. She was about to answer her with a sarcastic response, but the maid who settled the food on the table distracted her.
“Enjoy your food, Milady and Madam,”
Alda released a heavy sigh and thanked them. All the maids who enter the guest room then leave silent. Once the maids leave, Alda’s irritation once again flows through her, making her start the plan to trap the mouse in her cage.
“Lady Vendia hasn’t bothered me ever since the prince proposed to me and she is not the reason why my engagement to the prince broke down,” Alda answered, which made Mrs. Tilda shocked.
“Are you sure of your conclusion?” Mrs. Tilda asked if it was like she was holding something more in her words, making Alda unsurprised.
“Yes, I am sure, and besides, I’m the only one who told the prince that we should break off the engagement already,” Alda mentions, leaving Mrs. Tilda stunned and at a loss for a second, until she gains back her senses and asks.
“Y–you were the ones who broke the engagement to the prince? But why? ”
Alda looked at the fortune teller and thought.
‘Is she making fun of me right now? I know she already knows this stuff because she has a gift that can see through the past and future. She can even see through people’s private lives. So, why does she keep pretending that she does not know? Unless she is toying with me, ‘
Alda released a light laugh, then skipped a scoffing sound into her mouth, looking straight at the fortune teller with a smirking face.
“Why?” She said, pausing her words for a moment as she leans close to the couch spread and lays her hands on the top of the couch as she showed a comfortable and relaxed image to her, then continued.
“Well, let’s say I got bored with having a relationship with a man and chose to have a relationship with a woman instead,”
Mrs. Tilda was confused by her reply for a minute and when she finally understood what Alda meant by her sentence, she was taken aback.
“Wha-what?”
Alda released a mocking laugh, then looked straight at Mrs. Tilda with a black expression and said.
“You know, I’m bored. What about playing a name-guessing game? I will tell you the name of a person and you tell me who it is. ” Alda said, making Mrs. Tilda look straight at her and process her words for a minute. Alda didn’t wait for Mrs. Tilda to respond and just started the game that she wanted to play.
“Okay, the first name was Yerre. Tell me who is Yerre, “Alda mentions Yerre’s name, which made Mrs. Tilda look shocked and full of fear. Her reaction had such a relief effect on Alda’s heart that she started to laugh like a maniac and said.
“Hahahaha, what is it? Go ahead and tell me, go, ”
Mrs. Tilda stood up from the couch with a face full of anger and panic.
“Y—you!” She pointed her trembling index fingers at Alda.
“Yes?” Alda replied with innocent eyes and a smirking face.
“You! Who are you? What have you done for Lady Cathlen? What did you do to my favorite character that I created in my book? What did you do to her? Where is she? Where? You! Uwaaah, “Mrs. Tilda mentions bowling like a five-year old in front of Alda, making her stunned. Alda’s jaw dropped as she felt a strange feeling.
‘Is she crying like a kid right now? The fortune teller? Wait… ‘ Alda thought bufferas she felt weird about the fortune teller’s behavior. She processed all her words trying to understand her sentence that consisted of full of weirdness for a second, then spotted something that could change everything.
She looked towards the fortune teller with eyes wide open from shock as she stood up from the couch and asked.
“Y—you! Stop crying and answer me. Are you the creator of this book? ”
Mrs. Tilda looks at her with a frowned and furrowed brow as tears fall down her cheeks like a river.
“Yes! Uwaaaaah. What did you do to my baby Cathleeeen? Uwaaaaa, “Mrs. Tilda said, while tears continued to fall from her cheeks like rain drops. Alda fell back onto the couch feeling puzzled and so stunned that she did not know what to say or do at the moment. Until she remembered that Sir Arnold was also inside the guest room. She sat straight on the couch, turned around to look at Sir Arnold and once she did. She then saw him wearing a puzzled expression.
The fortune teller stopped crying and went over to Alda, but before she could get close to her, Sir Arnold unsheathed his sword and pointed it at her throat, which made her and Alda surprised.
“You’re not allowed to step even closer to these boundaries,” he said with a firm tone of voice.
Mrs. Tilda stiffened at her place and didn’t move as she looked at Alda’s eyes, who also looked at her with a strange expression.
“Answer me, because I am still not sure if you’re saying the truth or if you’re only using your gift to manipulate me,” Alda asked, with a voice full of bitterness.
“Why you? I am the creator of this world! ” Mrs. Tilda answered, her face bloated with anger, but Alda didn’t care.
“Yeah, right, I believe you,” Alda responded with a voice full of mockery.
“You! hemp! I died after finishing this book and ended up here. At first I didn’t know where I was, but as days passed, it started to become clear to me.” She said pausing her words for a bit as she sigh and look at Alda with full of irritation.
To be continued.
