Opening the car door for her, he stood there like a perfect epitome of male chivalry.
She gently smiled looking into his eyes and got inside and so did he, after closing her side of the door. As soon as he got in, he switched the controller and warmed up the car.
“Better?”
“Yeah!” And her eyes glistened as she looked at him, not knowing how did she ever deserve to be with such a man oh no correction, an angel.
“Would you I mean only if you want to remove that jacket?”
“I wouldn’t mind!” And saying that Caroline pushed the jackets off from her shoulder and handed it to him, expecting him to wear it back. But he tossed it to the backseat of the car.
“That jacket was not doing justice to how beautiful you look Caroline!”
Had those words come out of the mouth of any other man on earth, Caroline would have sensed a bit of lust. But from his mouth, it sounded like a genuine complement from the bottom of his heart.
