“Go back home Caroline!” He almost thundered
“Seriously! Is this the way you are going to” But all of a sudden her scream filled the surrounding air.
“Arrggghhhh….” She groaned and slumped on the floor. “It hurts! God, It hurts” And she winced in pain.
With a single jerk of his hands, he untied himself and pulled her close.
“My back hurts like. Hell Morpheous!” She could barely manage to finish her sentence, when she found his palms resting on her lower back. She expected the pain to vanish the next second, but it intensified instead.
She could feel as if someone was searing her skin with a heated iron rod. It was exactly like how it had hurt the night before, but this time, the intensity was way too much for her to bear.
“Make it stop!”
She pleaded because even seconds after him touching her, there had been no respite from the pain. She managed to open her eyes for a second, only to see horror in his eyes.
“What is it?”
