After placing the letter under the bedside table, Nubeous walked towards the dining his cupboard and took out the sketch of Alaya that he had drawn.
That overwhelming sense of guilt was somehow dampening the happiness that he had imagined. Holding her sketch close to his heart, he muttered, “I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t do anything wrong at all.”
“Tell me I did the right thing!” And not knowing why a tear trickled down from his face.
He held the sketch in one hand and rotated the ring with the other. He knew it was going to be painful, but that was all that he wanted.
A weird vibe started spreading in the room and the disturbance that he felt was way worse than the previous one. Instead of flickering, all the lights just completely went off. There was pitch black darkness, and he could sense that it was because of the august presence of the dark lord.
