Heaven Destroyer - Chapter 200
“What should we do now?” asked Ayaan, looking at the thunder man in front of him.
“What do you mean by what should we do?” Leafwhisk said annoyingly. “Let’s fight!”
“…yes” Ayaan scratched his head and laughed awkwardly before turning towards Elder Luan who dashed towards their group at the same time—a gust of chilly wind passed, decreasing temperature even further and turning the atmosphere sullen and serene.
“Attack!” shouted Ayaan enthusiastically and dashed towards Luan at the very font. He was eager to compare punches with someone as powerful as Elder of the Heavenly Palace. Therefore, he went first to fight with Luan.
“Die!” Elder Luan saw Ayaan still daring to come for a fight and attacked furiously while his body crackled and flickered with thunder.
“Boom!”
When the sabre and the fist struck each other, the ground trembled and creaked and the atmosphere filled with a booming collision—Ayaan was dispelled back over ten meters, body covered in blood and face turned pale and hands trembled in soreness.
“Cough!”
In the end he could not control himself and vomited a mouthful of blood, looking at Elder Luan in disbelief and with some intimidation. He had not thought about the difference in between them being so huge. With a single punch Elder Luan had thrashed him and made him spray blood all over. This was the difference, a gigantic difference in between their strength, indeed.
“Die!” before he could think anything else, the man of thunder once more punched. However, before his attack could threaten Ayaan’s life, four simultaneous attacks landed on Elder Luan and pushed him back.
“You dolt!” Leafwhisk shouted at Ayaan. “He was already so powerful previously. Me and Rebecca could barely hold him. Now he is burning his life force, and you think you can fight him by yourself, all alone, fantastic!”
Ayaan knew his emotions got carried away, and he made a mistake by fighting him by all alone; so he did not talk back and let her vent her frustration, but there was no time for venting her frustration and anger as their enemy once more cackled and lunged like a maniac and everyone engaged in the battle.
Isobel’s demonic techniques were completely useless at the moment, and so was Noor’s space element. No matter how many times she tried to teleport and take him by surprise, the old bastard was one step ahead. He was too fast even for her. Only now did she realise the colossal difference in between the strength of the Larva Realm and Pupa Realm. To think Ayaan dared to fight with this old bastard all alone. She could not help but take a peek of the adoration of her hero—alas, her hero was looking no better than a beggar at this moment.
“Boom!”
“Bang!”
“Thadang!”
Many weird colliding noises rumbled in the silent and serene atmosphere. Rebecca and Leafwhisk engaged in a force and heated battle with Elder Luan, who looked no better than a beast. Though two ladies also looked no better than a crumbling and melting ice mountain. They had pale faces and gasps escaping their mouths. Their bodies turned sore after fighting, and so their speed decreased.
After some time Ayaan and other two girls also joined the fight, harassing Luan from all sides while two ladies fought head-on. After getting Ayaan, Noor, and Isobel’s assistance, Leafwhisk and Rebecca felt a little better but still they could only barely battle and sooner or later they would be defeated if the fight went as it was going.
“What should we do?” asked Rebecca to the Leafwhisk as she avoided a punch.
“Boom!”
Every punch was a nightmare. Neither of them wanted to take the attack on their bodies—most of the time they dodged, but if there was no way other than blocking, only then, they used their hands. Though that made their guts tremble and face pale and the bodies tumbled back in pain.
After blocking the attack, Leafwhisk replied. “We just need to hold a little more, and his energy would deplete. It isn’t unlimited after all.”
Hearing her words, Rebecca’s eyes brightened. Indeed, he was burning his life force that was a fatal and terrible thing for one’s body. He would become weak and sickly after his energy deplete.
“Alright, hold him for some more time,” Rebecca shouted towards others and they complied as she told them to. As time passed Elder Luan’s speed decreased and attacks lost their vigour and his face showed some anxiousness at last. He thought he could defeat them after burning his life force—there were many treasures and medicines in the Heavenly Palace to recover life force. He wouldn’t have lost anything. Instead he would have won everyone’s appreciation in the Heavenly Palace.
“If you think you have won after protecting your lives from me, then you have greatly mistaken. I’m the tenth elder and the weakest. No one could save you from Heavenly Palace. Just wait for your death!” he screamed when he realised that there was no way to win the fight. “You won’t defeat me, never! If you think you could capture and then interrogate, then you are dreaming! Hahaha!”
“Boom!”
After threatening and shouting, Elder Luan blasted his own body, and the pieces of the scattered and blood spattered, guts and faeces disappeared while stench filled the humid and cold atmosphere.
“Rebecca! Leafwhisk!” Ayaan shouted when he saw a horrendous self detonation. The ice melted like wax while fog spread all about, covering the surrounding. He could not see Leafwhisk and Rebecca’s condition as they were the closest to the Elder Luan. He couldn’t help but become anxious and scared for their wellbeing.
“Le-let’s go check out.” He said to Noor and Isobel, who were also standing with pale and terrified faces. Not the fear of death, but the fear of losing two of their precious sisters—the trio hurried into the fog as it was taking too much time to scatter, and rushed where Leafwhisk and Rebecca stood.
