“ah, there you are” Josh came closer and greeted his mother. “Hi mom”. He saw his mom was not focus at the time. She must be thinking about that girl.

” What are you thinking about mom?”, Josh asked.

” Stefany went to the toilet. But she hasn’t been back til now. She left her phone here. How if she get lost? How if something happen to her?” Madam G showed a little panic in her face.

“Don’t worry mom, she is okay” Josh kept calm.

“Don’t worry you say, she has never been here before. How if someone takes her? You know, now days, there are a lot kidnapping happen. Speaking of that, there was someone called her when we arrived here. And in different name. It can be a trick, How .. ” Madam G word’s was cut by a soft voice. “Aunty G”.

Madam G turns her head and looked at the girl coming towards their table with Josh’s personal assistant. “ooh, sweetheart, do you know how worry I was for you? you left your phone. I was so afraid that something might happen to you ” Madam G hugged her.

Josh sighed. His mom must like her that much. He never saw his mother that worry about someone else beside him until this girl showed up two months ago. Speaking about it, he has no idea how his mother met Stefany back then. All he knew was, at that night he rushed to the hospital after speaking with his mom’s bodyguard.

Josh returned back from office to see that his mom’s vehicle was not parked in front of her building. It was about at one in the morning. He asked his bodyguards to check on madam G’s bodyguards and found out that they were not back yet to the mansion.

He tried to call his mom a few times for asking her why she was not at home when it was almost dawn, but his mom didn’t respond. After that he decided to call her bodyguard, and he was told that his mom was in hospital, and was at the ICU. Before the bodyguard finish speaking, Josh cut the call and rush to the hospital with his driver and bodyguards.

But as soon as he arrived at the ICU, he saw his mom there inside a ward. But it was not her that was on the bed. The person was unconscious with wounds and bruises around her face and body. That was the girl that his mom is hugging right now. Stefany.
