Heavens App - Chapter 5 Danger Sense
“Should I continue to fiddle with this app’s store now?”
Liam stared at the tab on his phone.
‘Definitely…’
RIIIING!
The sound of the school bell resounded throughout the ground floor.
“…I’ll definitely check it later!”
Without hesitation, he hurried quickly towards the corridor in front of his classroom.
Creak! Tap!
“Oh. I thought both of you already ran. You know me well. Alright, it’s your vacant time now, you can put your hands down.” The lady teacher said before he walked away from Liam and Nathan.
“Hah. She forget about our parents. How lucky…” Nathan said as he saw his teacher disappearing from his sight.
“Yeah…” Liam replied.
He was a bit sweaty and exhausted after doing a buzzer-beater by having to run for dozens of meters.
“I see that you’re faster than earlier. Did your memories and your prowess came back after shitting?”
“I didn’t shit, you shithead!”
The two chattered for a bit before going inside their classroom. Nathan grabbed some money and left the room. Liam stayed and grabbed his phone from his pocket.
Looking around inside his room, there were only a few people. Most of his classmates were probably in the school’s cafeteria.
“Okay, let’s go see what this store really does.”
After pressing the tab, the screen turned white for a second before it became a theme that completely turned to black and gold.
Ding!
A notification appeared.
[The user has his first time opening the store.]
[A small reward shall be given.]
[The Heaven’s App gave the user 50 coins.]
Liam was a bit surprised that such a small achievements could actually get him a reward. He closed all the notifications and saw all the contents of the store.
Holy shit…
‘This is too many.’
Somehow, you can say that It was out of his expectation.
The store have a text that said it have 2000+ random items inside. All the items were sorted by their price.
‘As expected,’
The items in the store were mainly connected to the world. From skill books to weapons.
“Ah, how convenient. It even has a wishlist.”
After a few minutes of his swiping, he stopped picking items to go to his wishlists. All the things he saved were useful items that didn’t go over his budget.
The most cheapest out of all of it cost 20 coins. It was an emblem that permanently increase one picked attribute.
‘So basically, with my money, I can buy like 20 low-class emblems, 4 low-class potions, 2 low-class normal daggers, or 1 low-class normal skill book.’
Looking at it again, he kept thinking about what was the most useful thing in there.
“If I guess correctly, the most beneficial skill book for me out of the ones in my wishlist is this danger sense.”
Danger Sense. A natural survival instinct. It allows the user to sense when something bad might happen. The higher the skill level, the earlier the user can sense danger and the stronger the feeling.
It felt like he already have seen the skill’s description somewhere before but he just shook the thought away.
“But I don’t know if this Danger Sense is worth more than 20 attribute points. I mean if I put 20 points to my strength, It could be a huge boost, right?”
After a few minutes of his consideration, he decided to buy the Danger Sense skill book.
‘This could be useful for me in the future.’
He clicked the ‘Buy’ option under the name of the skill book and a new notification appeared.
[The Danger Sense skill book was placed in the inventory.]
Liam looked at his ‘0 coins’ at the top right corner of the screen before he came back to the main menu, letting him see the store and inventory tab.
He then clicked ‘Inventory’. Like what he remembered, it have 10 item slots and the skill book already occupied one. He pressed it and the image got bigger. Under the skill book’s name, there were two options to pick from but the other one was blank, leaving the ‘Use’ option to stand out on its own.
After accepting to use it, the notification said that it was already given to him.
“Okay, now it’s your turn. System.”

Liam chuckled after reading all the contents.
‘This is one of the common things in some games or novels, but it’s entirely different if it was in the real world just floating in front of you.’
“It seems pretty simple but it still makes me filled with excitement. I can fully use some skills that you can only expect in games. Isn’t this thrilling!”
While he was seeing himself defeating some thugs inside his delusions, his phone suddenly vibrated.
After closing his window and grabbing his phone, he saw a new notification.
He widened his eyes in surprise after reading the text inside the two notification tabs.
[One new content was loaded.]
[Map]
“Huh?” Followed by his tilted head, he was a bit confused.
‘This Heaven’s App won’t make something as useless as a normal map, right?’
“Well, I can just try and see what it does.”
Without asking any further, he pressed the map tab.
Ding!
[The user need at least 1000 coins to unlock the Map.]
“…”
