A sound of footsteps echoes outside Vendia chamber then stops in front of her front door,

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock* -a knock disturbs the quiet sound inside Vendia chamber,

“Yes?” Vendia asked while on her bed lying not doing anything, just staring at her ceiling thinking worrying about something,

“Young miss, is me, Mary, may I come in?” Mary reply

“Oh yes of course come in” I respond quickly sitting down from my bed

“Young miss I brought all the other things you will need for your preparation later tonight”

Mary continues talking while as she spaced out leaving her talking to herself,

‘Cathlen birthday… what should I say to her?’ I keep disturbing myself with the past event that happened between me and cathlen,

“Oh, I’m so excited to see you in a dress again. Miss, you were so perfect so beautiful, like a goddess, are you excited to miss?” Mary asked excited smiling full of joy,

“…” Vendia still unbothered

“Young miss?” Mary called upon her attention,

‘Maybe she already forgets about it? But what if she didn’t? WHAT SHOULD I DO THEN?’ Vendia show an anxious face in front of her,

“Miss?” Mary saw it got concerned

‘Ha… I wish Alda was here. She knows what to do in this situation. It is just very awkward and when I see her I get scared I don’t know what to do…’ Vendia thinking critically

“Young miss” Mary slowly went over to her

‘I just do what I can do then, stand up and defend myself or maybe I just tell her that I have a memory lost no that is impossible I call her by her name that night’

Vendia biting her nails one by one anxiously, battling herself at the moment on what to do once she comes face to face with Cathlen at the party later tonight,

“Young miss?” Mary pat her right shoulder then bringing her back to reality,

“Mary?” She looks at her surprised blinking three times and calms herself

“Are you okay, young miss?” Mary got worried

“Yes?” Vendia clueless reply

‘Oh did she just saw me so anxious’ I look at her wondering in worried

“I’ve been calling out to you this whole time miss” Mary explain

‘She does say it’ Internally sigh

“Yes, are you not feeling well?”

‘Oh I must have been spacing out for too long’

“Sorry I was thinking of something, don’t worry I’m fine” She smiles and deep sigh wearing a bothered look on her face,

“I see, are you worried that Lady Cathlen might shame and humiliate you in front of many people?” Mary asks,

“What?” Surprised

“Are you scared, miss?” Mary prospect I look at her for a while then look down on the floor sighing,

“Mary” I call looking outside my big window inside my chamber,

“Yes, miss?” She quickly replies

“I want to ask you a question”

“Yes miss what is it”

*deep sighing*

“If someone does horrible things to you what will you do?” I ask seriously

“Well it depends miss” Mary answer I turned around and look at her questionably

“What? what do you mean by it depends on Mary” Persistently want an advice

“It depends on what that person does to me”

“Okay… I don’t get it” I truthfully respond

“It goes like this miss” I nod and continue listening as she speaks

“If that person does hurt me deeply and intentionally without reason then I will sue that person but if that person does horrible things to me because I also do something terrible to that person then I just let that person be satisfied and feel guilty in the end” Mary explained. I nod, satisfied by her answer

‘Come to think of it Vendia does do so many horrible and terrifying things towards cathlen’

“So…” dreadful

“Yes, miss?”

‘So you mean to say that I should have just let Cathlen humiliate and harass me at that time just because Vendia had done something unforgivable to her? but… I’m not Vendia I mean I am Vendia outside but inside I’m Yerre’

“Never mind I won’t go to her party I just stay here where is peace, safe and quite” Her final decision as she lay back to her bed not caring about the matter anymore,

“Young miss?” Mary called confused by my actions

“Mary” I tiredly dub

“Yes, miss?”

“Can you notify Mother and Father that I won’t go to Cathlen’s birthday party later tonight?” I request feeling cozy and comfy in my bed stretching my body and rolling over happily out of worry,

“What? But why won’t you go, miss?” I can hear Mary disappointed feeling

“I just don’t feel like it” I reply like a little kid

“But miss” Mary insisted I sat up looking at her smiling

“Yes?” I reply

“What about the things I’ve prepared for you?” Mary pointed at the things she prepared just now for me whining and pouting as she sat on my bed beside me wearing teary puppy eyes,

‘Oh no please don’t, not puppy eyes…’ I plead refraining myself to feel guilty as I quickly turn away from her

“No, I won’t go and besides you can just take those things back to its place where it came from right?” I insist but I hear Mary sobbing and I got worried so I turn around and saw her teary and puppy eyes crying again,

‘Uh…’ Internally struggled as I stop myself from changing my mind

twenty minutes later,

*Squeal*- loudly

“Young miss you so pretty…” Mary cheerfully rejoice

‘Ahh… forget it let’s just go and let Cathlen harass us once again right vendia body? you deserve it anyway’ Yerre dreadfully ask on Vendia body

” We just need to finish your hair miss and you’re perfect to go! *squeals* I’m so jealous of your beauty miss” Mary exaggerate

“Uh… He He He doesn’t be” I reply not happy at all

‘This beauty is cursed Mary I wish I could tell you what will happen to me tonight’ Yerre internally crying,

“Done miss… LOOK oh you’re so perfectly beautiful Miss” She demands as I stand up and went over to the standing mirror beside me and look at myself,

“Woah” I become speechless

“You see miss, you’re so pretty right?”

Mary consult me as I nod with my open mouth so surprised and stars tuck by myself at the moment,

“Yes… I am…” I finally admit it Mary giggle as she stands beside me admirably looked at me,

‘Wah… Is this me? No, this is Vendia body but… this is me now… I’m so pretty’ I slowly touch my face staring while admiring my new body like the first time,

“Young miss turn around,” Mary requested, then I twirl around feeling like a princess inside the fairytale book I read when I was just a little child, I giggle enjoying my moment as I twirl left and right having fun.

“Thank you, Mary” I thank her as I continue admiring myself in the mirror so mesmerized feeling special and so beautiful,

“Your always welcome miss” Mary reply happily I smile at myself in the mirror

‘WA… I can’t believe the prince didn’t fall in love with Vendia. She is so perfectly beautiful, such a waste I mean… Why do I care this is me I’m Vendia now let’s take care of Vendia body with love and care now Yerre’ I vowed to myself as the new owner of Vendia body,

“Wah… I’m so lucky…” I confess Mary nod agreeing

‘Vendia don’t worry I take care of your body and the person you left behind very well but I’m sorry I need to avoid the prince I hope you understand’

I pledge and apologies,

“Vendia sweetie, are you ready to get inside?” Mother asked were now at the Duke residence I smile and nod the father escort me as we get inside,

Then this happened, once my parents left me to negotiate and talk to the other nobles I then came face to face with the person Vendia admire and love so much,

“Guard Lady Vendia and don’t let her get out of your all sight” Prince Adam command

“YES YOUR HIGHNESS” The guards answer in sync, I got shocked shaking as I stand in my place,

“And if she does something notify me immediately” Adam lastly said then leave me with his trusted men guarding her.

“Wait!” I cry out feeling scared and unsafe

‘What? why is he doing this to me?’

He trapped me. I scanned the place looking for my parents to save me, but I didn’t spot them because there were so many people inside the ballroom.

“Vendia” I heard someone call for me on my back I slowly turned around and saw,

“Cathlen?” I got surprised but somehow relief upon seeing her I don’t know why

“Shh!!! stay quiet” Cathlen instruct me

‘Huh? but wh-‘

I got confused for a minute then realize she means the prince three-guard in front of me I cover my mouth immediately with my both hands and nod understanding her words just now,

‘Walk quietly and follow me okay?’ She mouthed

‘Why is she helping me?’

I am confused at the moment but I just go with the flow because I also want to get out of the guard grasp nodding, I followed Cathlen instruction slowly walking away and went close to her.
