*Huffing and puffing* Sound of footsteps running around the dark hallway echoing only light of the moon can be seen and the two-person running away,

“HA! we finally faraway…” Cathlen catching her breath as she continues talking

“Hey, why did that idiot prince bother you just now?” She asks but never gets a response she turned around and saw Vendia is four meters away from her,

Cathlen eyes measuring the distance between her and Vendia,

*Tseeep* *Tseeep* *Tseeep* *Tseeep* *Tseeep* – small bird sound

*Kraa* *Caw* * Kraa* *Caw* *Kraa* *Caw*- Raven sound

A silence of suffering and struggling,

“Uh… why are you so far away from me?” She asks dumbfounded

“…” Vendia didn’t reply

‘What now?’ Cathlen scoffed got pissed and walk back to her

“NO! stay Ummm stay there pleased” Vendia plead somehow afraid and scared,

‘SAY WHAT NOW?!’

“YAH I just saved your ass just now and this is how you pay me?” Cathlen reply somehow pissed off as she continues walking not caring

“NO, I… just please STOP!”

Vendia shouts shutting her both eyes in fear Cathlen got struck by her scream and stops walking, Vendia slowly opens her eyes back and looks at Cathlen with a wary expression, the two didn’t speak at each other for two minutes just staring at each other.

*Deep sigh* *tired* Cathlen close her eyes problematically, then open them back sighing exhaustedly,

“Look here okay? I won’t do anything to you just come here and let’s go where no one can see us okay?”

Cathlen swear but Vendia is still standing at her place not moving an inch, Cathlen deep sigh and start walking again,

“WHY” Vendia shout which made Cathlen stopped walking

“What?” Cathlen asks clueless Vendia look at her confidently

“Why are you helping me just now?” She asks and Cathlen got taken back

“…”

‘Yeah… why did I help this villain just now?’ She wonders then remember something an hour ago before this whole thing happened

As I look at her and the crown prince talking, I heard some nobles talk about her,

“Have you heard about the marquis daughter’s condition lately?”

The noble young girls talking nonstop like a machine,

“No, why, what happened?”

“I heard a rumor that the Marquis daughter lady Vendia lost her memories because of an accident”

*GASP*

“REALLY?!”

“Ssh!!! keep it down” I hear the two of them and got curious so I went close to them with a furious expression,

“HEY” I call their attention

*GASP* They got surprised

“Omo lady Cathlen happy birthday”

“Yes happy birthday lad-” I cut their rubbish greetings

“Is it true?” I ask

“What?”

“I ask you about, Vendia condition, is it true?”

I straightforwardly ask, then they both nod I leave them but when I do I see the crown prince walking to where I am. I immediately blended into the crowd hiding from him, when I saw that he was already far away I went out to the crowd and went to where I last saw Vendia then from far I saw Vendia being guarded by the crown prince guard wearing a fear expression.

‘That idiot’ I somehow feel irritated and pissed off seeing her so weak and vulnerable, then subconsciously I sneak around and help her to get away.

‘Ugh… I hate this kind of feeling. She is not even yerre why I feel like I can’t stand it when someone touches or hurts her?’

I wonder so annoy while sneaking at the guards, then this is the result, I grin

“HA! then let me ask you a question”

“What”

“Is it true that you lost your memories?” She got shocked for a minute then get back to herself,

“Yes but I already regain some of it” She answers

“I see…” I start to walk again

“Wait! STOP you haven’t answered my question” She panic I slightly laugh feeling somehow satisfied seeing her afraid of me,

“I don’t need to answer them do I?” I smirk, teasing her, then she showed me a fear expression,

“WAIT, STOP!” She shouts again and I stop walking

“What is it?” I ask pissed off

‘Why do I stop walking every time she shouts stop?’ I feel irritated

“I didn’t come here to hurt you or ruined your party I swear!” Small tears skip on her eyes and my heart somehow ache,

“What?” I can’t talk back at the moment

” I said I didn’t come here to hurt you or ruined your party” She repeats and continues talking,

“And I want to say sorry for what I have done to you before so please don’t harass me again” She apologies

‘Heh she is cute’ I thought slightly laughing

“Okay I forgive you” I reply she got surprised

“Really?” She asks assurance and I nod smiling

“Yes” I reply as I start walking again

“NO stop!”

“What? You’re still scared of me?” I asked got irritated again

“Yes so just stay there” She proposed but I don’t want it we need to get away from here first so I didn’t listen to her and just continue walking,

“STOP!”

Vendia shouts again but Cathlen didn’t listen and just keep walking Vendia trembled fear showed on her face as she saw Cathlen is not stopping, she walks backward and try to run away but Cathlen is already in front of her grasping her waist tightly their face is so close to each other.

A time between them seems to stop as they lock eyes as Vendia wear a wary expression while Cathlen showed a plain expression to her, for a minute they stay at their position like a statue than a sound of three angry men break their flashing moment Vendia flinch and grind close to Cathlen hugging her like a scared puppy,

“Heh”

Cathlen got surprised by Vendia sudden action but later on felt amazed and satisfied as she grins and hugs her back then look far-seeing Adam three guards searching for Vendia like an Idiot, they didn’t see the two of them because Cathlen immediately dragged them towards the corner which is so dark hiding while embracing Vendia close to her.

‘Tsk these three idiots ruining my moment, Hemp, you won’t find her because she is mine for tonight’ She smirks mischievously,
