Vendia panting from running as she stops in front of the gate feeling relieved and happy but her happiness turned sore when someone surprisingly grabbed her right wrist, causing her to turn around and feel pain in her arm because of the surprising impact.

“I finally found you, what did you do to her WHERE IS SHE!”

‘The prince…’ Vendia surprise

“Aw! prince… you’re hurting me…” Vendia hiss from pain because Prince Adam hold on to her right wrist tightly,

“ANSWER ME!” Prince Adam shout in anger,

“I don’t know!” Vendia close her both eyes in pain and fear

“JE! You don’t know? Are you toying me now Vendia?” Prince Adam feeling displeased by Vendia reply,

“I’m telling you the truth I don’t know where she is now, an hour ago we were together but she left me and didn’t tell me where she was going… p-please loosen your grip on my wrist it hurts”

Vendia hurtfully begs Prince Adam, wearing a wary expression.

“YOU” Prince Adam about to slap Vendia but someone shouts at him and stop him,

“STOP” Lord Marthen running with his wife beside him also rash in worry,

“LET GO OF MY DAUGHTER!” Madam Rose scream in rage

“Mother!”

Vendia cry out Lord Marthen run over to her daughter and snatch her away from prince Adam,

“What did you do to my daughter just now” Lord Marthen send a death glare hiding her daughter to his back protectively,

“Vendia oh… my child…” Madam Rose arrive beside her and embrace her child in relief,

“Mother… *sobs*” Vendia hug back crying from so much relief

“Is okay, mother and father are here now don’t cry Ssh…” Madam Rose comforting her, Vendia nod two times as she cries,

“I’m sorry I ran off just like that mother… *sobs*” Vendia respond

“Mother is sorry too, we should have not accepted their invitation” Madam Rose stated

“Get out of my way Lord Marthen I need to ask your daughter about Lady Cathlen she is messing” Prince Adam reply not showing weakness and fear towards Lord Marthen,

“No, you’re accusing my daughter of something that she didn’t even do” Lord Marthen Insist, prince Adam grit his teeth in anger,

“Are you defying me as a crown prince Lord Marthen?” Prince Adam threat but Lord Marthen just laugh,

“So are we using our rank and level now? and why should I let you pass through me when I know you will hurt my only daughter?” Lord Marthen mockingly responds

“So you choose to defy the royal family?” Prince Adam didn’t back down,

“Of course, is my family we’re talking here, after all, your highness” Lord Marthen scorn

“YOU!” Prince Adam hissed in anger, then suddenly someone shouts at his back again he turned around and saw one of his guards,

*pant* *pant* *pant* *pant* *pant*- sound of panting because of running so fast,

“Y-your highness…” His guard is catching his breath for a minute

“What is it, SPEAK!” He demands impatiently

“We found Lady Cathlen and his now with her parents the Duke and Duchess” His guard respond huffing from short breath,

“What? is she okay?” Prince Adam surprised

“Yes, your highness it appears she is fine and no harm has done to her” His guard elaborate,

“You see your highness? next time fix your hunger because that is not good for your future” Lord Marthen scoffing, prince Adam can’t reply at the moment,

“Dear come on let’s go home” Madam Rose request holding Vendia to her side protectively,

“Yes we shall, I don’t want to stay here for long anyway is full of toxic’s I can’t even breathe the air here so disgusting” Lord Marthen reply mockingly as they leave the prince disorder,

Meanwhile, back inside the ballroom Cathlen our Alda is not with her parents but still feeling down,

“What is it why your so down child?” Duchess Aerwen asks, concern

“Nothing mother, can I go to my room now?” Cathlen ask permission

“But why child? you haven’t danced with the crown prince…” Duke Thranduil stated then she feels irritation rise upon her,

“Duke Thranduil and Duchess Aerwen” Prince Adam notify them with his arrival,

“Oh prince adam good your here” Duke Thranduil respond smiling

“Thank you for helping us search for Cathlen” Duchess Aerwen feel thankful

“Yes, I’m so glad lady Cathlen is fine now, I thought Vendia had done something again to you” Prince Adam reply feeling relief upon seeing Cathlen safe,

“Oh, Is Lady Vendia already found?” Duke Thranduil ask

“Yes, I found her first then her parents arrived next” Prince Adam reply and Cathlen got worried,

“What did you do to her” Cathlen went over to him worried about Vendia

“What?” Prince Adam confused

“I’m asking you what you did to her before her parents arrived” Cathlen feel anger rise upon her regretting the fact that she leaves Vendia wandering alone,

“Cathlen, I can’t understand, why your concern about her, she is Vendia, remember?” Prince Adam feel so lost

the people inside the ballroom hear their commotion and watch them suspiciously as they whisper,

“ANSWER ME!” Cathlen shout coldly not caring about anyone

“Cathlen! why are you raising your voice to Prince Adam!” Duchess Aerwen scolded her

“Duchess Aerwen is fine…”

“Answer my question now” Cathlen send threatening eyes at him

“Okay, I just ask her about you that is all” Prince Adam confess, she sighs in relief then look straight at him showing no emotion,

“I’m grateful for what you have done for me but I also want you to know I’m not weak I’m the Duke and Duchess daughter no matter what Vendia throw to me I can manage it on my own, I don’t need anyone help” Cathlen emphasis

“Cathlen… ” Duchess Aerwen somehow feel sad for Prince Adam,

“And for you Mother and Father, please, I’m 23 now I can manage my problem and I don’t want you two to ever treat me like a child again. Thank you for the grand party but I’m tired and exhausted I will go retire to my chamber now”

Cathlen lastly said and left the three-person feeling guilt and down.
