Heheroine And My Villainess - Chapter 4
HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS
(STAND UP SEE THE SUN SMILING ABOVE US)
The next day, Mary opened the curtain inside Vendia’s room. It brought a flash of bright light inside the room.
“Erm… is too bright” Vendia whined.
“Young miss, Good morning.” Mary greeted her.
“Mary?”
“Yes, Young Miss. It’s me, did you sleep well?”
“Yes, I did. Why are you here so early in the morning? Did you have your breakfast already?”
“Yes, I already ate, Miss. I came here to help you get ready”
“Help me change, why?” I mumbled in a daze.
“Are you still sleepy?”
“Hm? Yes, I am… can I go back to sleep?” I yawned.
“I’m afraid you can’t, Miss. His Excellency and Madam are already at the dining room waiting for you”
“They are?” I felt drowsy. I wanted to sleep more.
“Yes, come now, Miss, let’s get you ready” she said.
I nodded and yawned.
Mary helped her change into a decent dress then fixed her hair up and led her out her room.
“Good Morning, Young Miss” Some of the servants greeted her as she strides through the hall
“Morning” She answered still yawning.
‘Right, I am Vendia now. I need to get used to this kind of scenario in life so I can survive and… Alda…’ a feeling of dread crept to her.
“I wonder what she looks like here. I hope she’s safe.” she murmur to herself,
“Did you say something, miss?” Mary asks
“No, it’s nothing”, She smiled
“Good morning, Miss Vendia. I am Sebi, the head butler of the Marquis Residences. It’s good to see you well Young Miss”
‘Oh yeah, Sir Sebi… Wait… Why did he introduce himself to me, the real Vendia already knew him so why… oh right, mother and father must have told them about my condition’
“Oh yes, thank you and it’s nice to meet you too Sir Sebi” I bowed to his surprise.
“Why are you surprised?” I ask internally panicking. ‘Did I do something wrong again? I couldn’t think of one, so what is it?’
“Um… Young Miss, you should not bow to your servant it’s the noble’s rules” he advised.
“Oh…” I say shocked. ‘Right, in noble’s eyes servants are lower than them, so nobles should not bow to any, except the highest rank monarchy’ I looked at him smiling,
“I’m sorry my head is messy” I acted like I was having a hard time with losing my memory.
“Oh, Young Miss, it’s okay” Mary comforts me.
“Sorry, Young Miss, it’s my fault for forgetting about your situation. Please, forgive my ignorance” Sir Sebi apologizes bowing in front of me. I went close to him and held his shoulders, he raised his head and looked at me.
“I forgive you, Sir Sebi” I smiled, he sighs then bowed for the last time.
“Well then, Young Miss, I came to escort you to the dining room” he smiles.
“Oh right”
“Young Miss, I’ll see you later” Mary bid goodbye. She was probably going to do her duties. I nodded and smiled at her.
“Right this way young miss” he leads the way as we walk. Leaving behind footsteps.
“We’re here. I’ll be going back to my post. Enjoy your meal, Miss.” I smiled at him, he smiles back, bowed then left.
A creak sounds as I opened the door.
“Good morning, Mother and Father” I smile and greeted them.
“Good morning child, did you sleep well?” Father asks.
“Yes I did, Father”
“That’s good to hear”
“How are you feeling?” Mother asks
“I’m feeling light and well now” I smile and sat beside her.
“Good, here, eat well okay?”
“Yes I will mother” I took some food and put it on my plate. I started eating.
“By the way, Vendia, your Father has something to tell you”
“What is it?” I asked.
“The royal family is hosting an imperial party tomorrow and they sent us an invitation”
I nodded.
“Your mother and I wanted to ask your permission first before accepting the invitation”
“Yes, are you ready to go out sweet heart?” She consults me.
“I…” I started in unease.
“We can decline it if you like sweetie, there’s no need to be pressured by it”
“Yes and besides your more important than a party” I looked at them feeling warm and in comfort.
‘So, this is what it feels like to be loved by both your parents. Boy, am I I’m jealous of you Vendia’
“It’s fine mother and father. Just accept the invitation”
“Are you sure?” Mother asks. I nod.
“All right we shall”
“You eat well and be ready. We’re going to town later this afternoon”
“For what, Mother?”
“For your dress, I want my daughter to be a shining star at the ball” she exaggerates
‘She’s just like my mother in my previous life… Mother…I miss her so much…’
“What is it that makes you look so down? Do you not want to buy a new dress? Does mother force you so much?”
“Ah no is not that Mother, I just remembered something unrelatable. don’t worry I’m fine”
“Is it about the prince?” Father asks somehow angry.
“What? n-no”
“Vendia?” Mother look at me with a concerned face.
“No, it is not about the prince, it’s genuinely nothing, Mother and Father, don’t worry okay?” I assured them. I sighed.
“Okay, let us continue eating”
“Yes father”
*Vendia Chamber*
“How is she?” Mother asks.
“Her vital organs are functioning well and her progress is fast but her memories are still unstable” The physician mentioned.
“Right, so what should we do?” Father asks
“For now, she needs to be around people she already knew before and be with you two always so her memory can slowly come back”
“What is the possibility that my daughter’s memory will go back?”
“I am still uncertain my Lord, it’s my first time having this kind of patient” The old physician confesses.
“But there’s a chance right?” Mother blending in filled with concern.
“Wife” Father says wearing a face of uncertainty.
“There is, Right?” Mother forcedly assorted.
“Mother…” I can’t say that I will be able to regain my memories back because the truth is I can’t, I’m not Vendia I’m not their daughter.
“Wife calm down she will regain her memory back so just calm down okay?” Father comforts and assures Mother while I look at them feeling sorry.
‘I’m sorry…’
*TOWN*
“Wow…so many dresses”
“You like it?” Mother asks happily. I nodded excitedly, feeling amused and distracted by the beauty of these dresses.
“Greetings Madam, what can we do for you today?”
‘Oh, this must be the owner of this shop’
“Oh yes, I want a dress for my daughter, Vendia. Do you have something that fits her?”
“Yes we have, but may I ask what it is for?”
“For the Imperials party”
“Oh that’s okay, don’t worry, I’ll take care of it. Your daughter will be a shining star at the party tomorrow”
“I expect so”
“Come here dearie, let’s find you a dress that suits you and impresses your mother. Shall we?”
‘Is he gay? Don’t underestimate me I support LGBTQ back at home in my previous life it’s just odd to see one here’
“Okay,” I answered following him to the dressing room.
“Okay first let me get my assistant to take your measurement”
A moment later,
“Oh my god you have such a perfect waist and perfect body, I’m jealous”
“Uh…” I say uncomfortably.
“Okay here, try this first dress” She tried on the beautiful modest gown.
“Oh my…” My mother mused.
“My god, Young Miss, you are so beautiful…” Mary said stunned at her beauty.
“Uh…” I said dumbly, not good at receiving compliments.
‘It’s heavy…’ I complained.
“Oh my, we’ll take that dress” my mother say.
“Really madam?”
“Yes how can I reject such a perfect designed dress for my daughter?” She assorted.
Mary can’t stop looking at her because she does sparkling with that dress,
“Is there more? I want to see it being worn by my daughter”
“Okay next dress, come darling, let’s get your second dress”
The next dress she put on is called a couture sparkly sequin ball gown,
“Oh My! My daughter you look so perfect,” Mother said feeling so satisfied and amused.
“Miss, you’re so perfect…you look like a goddess”
‘Uh… Yes, I accept all your compliments and all but I am tired already the dress is very heavy’
“Thank you…” I smiled uncomfortably.
“We’ll take that dress, too.”
‘WHAT?!’
“Yes, we’ll prepare it right away madam”
“Is there more?”
‘Oh no…’ dreadful
“Yes, there’s more. Come darling, let’s change you up into another dress”
“Yes…” crying internally

*Carriage*
“Oh my daughter, you looked so pretty and so perfect wearing those dresses that I ended up purchasing it all”
‘Ah…I feel so burdened’ I thought with dread.
“What’s wrong, why do you look so sad?”
“Mother, I’m sorry because of me you ended up buying it all”
“Oh my, is that why you’re looking so dreadful?”
“…Yes” I confessed
“Oh, my daughter it’s all right”
‘No I don’t think it’s necessary’ use to purchase things that are only urgently needed,
“I buy it all because I want you to have it okay? and besides it’s my first time shopping with you and buying your dresses, before, I always insist on you going shopping with me but you’re always not home. But having you beside me right now spending time with me made me so happy” she wholeheartedly implies,
I looked at her. ‘That’s right Vendia and Madam Rose is not close because Vendia is always not home, she always goes around places just to get the Prince’s attention’ I smiled and looked at her,
“I’m happy to spend my day with you today too, mother” I hug her for one minute then look to where Mary is,
“Oh she is sleeping”
“She must be tired; she keeps complimenting you with such heartfelt words every time you go out into the dressing room”
“Yeah…” I smile feeling warm inside as I look at Mary who sleeps peacefully.
“Such a sweet young girl”
“Mother, how old is Mary?”
“She is the same as your age”
“Really?”
“Yes your 21 and she’s also 21”
“Oh, no wonder why we get along so well”
“Yes, you do” I smile then lay my head on my mother’s right shoulder resting for a while.
‘I wonder what kind of life Alda has here…I miss her so much’ I closed my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.
