-Ten days later-

VENDIA ROOM

So many days have passed since I arrived here but somehow I still can’t help to feel belongingness and sadness,

“Alda…*hic*…*sobs*…I am scared…” I mumble alone inside my room crying holding both my niece close to my chest trembling in fear as I cry myself to sleep.

*Next day*

In the morning in the dining room, I and my parent’s eat our breakfast quietly when suddenly mother spotted something wrong with me,

“Vendia why are your eyes so puffy? Did you cry at night?” She asks concern

‘Oh, no is it so obvious?’ I panic internally

“I…no I didn’t mother is nothing” I answer but I can sense their both unsatisfied feeling,

“If you’re not feeling well we can ask our coachman to delivered a letter to the royal family that we won’t be attending their imperial banquet of the crown prince,” Father said

“What? No father I’m fine please let’s attend mother has been looking forwards to the imperial banquet and I don’t want to ruin it”

I smile at both of them trying to convince them that I’m fine,

“Okay” Mother look at me still concern I try to smile brightly at her but I just can’t do it,

*Royal Palace*

“Vendia?” Mother asks upon seeing me spacing out. I blink three times snapping out then father extends out his left hand for me to hold as support getting out on a carriage.

So many days have passed since I got here and I’m already warming up and used to be around Vendia parents.

“Thank you father,” I said gladly

Right now we’re attending the party for a crown prince and my family has been invited. I don’t want to attend but I attend for me to find alda but I don’t know-how,

“maybe she is here…” I mumbled t

They got inside the castle escorted by her father and mother side to side and saw many noble people chattering.

*Gulp*

‘Okay Maybe I should have thought it over before attending here so many people I don’t like’

I grasp my father and mother’s arms tightly.

“What is it, child? Are you okay?” Father asks

“I… a-yes I am fine father don’t worry” I fake smile feeling uncomfortable.

‘Actually, I am not but there’s no turning back now where here already and home is far so might as well bear with it? Ugh…I don’t think I can’ Fidgety dreadful

“Vendia child you enjoy yourself okay? Your father will greet our old friends. We will see you later” I nod

‘I’m alone’

“Wait, the heroine and the crown prince, oh no! WAIT mother can I come with you bo-” dreadful

feeling anxious and slowly can’t breathe seeing so many people, her both parents can’ be sighted anymore,

“I need some air; I can’t stay here either or I’ll meet the two people I don’t want to meet ” She goes to the terrace outside the ballroom.

*relief sigh* *relaxed*

“…This is good…”

“hey! What are you doing here alone? ” I hear someone and turn to the left side only to see

“Cathlen?” I said surprised,

she was wearing an annoyed and angry face, she is with someone, a girl who is blushing so much.

“Yes, how dare you interrupt us?” She said so angry, I was so confused,

“M-miss cathlen I-I must go now…” the noble girl said hasting seemed embarrassed.

‘Huh? But why what did I do?’ dreadfully confuse

-Earlier Before-

*deep sigh*

“This is so boring how can I find You’re here so many people…I am getting bored” Cathlen bored

then she had an idea, she spotted someone alone, a girl and slowly approached her.

“Hey…do you know me?” Cathlen asks

“No I don’t” the girl responds then she smirks.

‘OH jackpot I need some refreshment’

“How about we go outside that terrace and talk? What do you say?” She suggests

The girl thinks it through until she nods as a yes,

Cathlen feels excited and when they arrive at the terrace she pushes the noble girl to the side of the wall, covering them and pulling her close, drowning her face close, and putting her hand to the wall locking the noble girl to escape and she shoved her lips to her hungrily.

At first, the noble girl keeps insisting but then stops and enjoys the moment, Cathlen smirks in satisfaction, when suddenly they hear someone’s voice on the terrace.

*relief sigh* *relaxed*

“…This is good…” Vendia

“hey! What are you doing here alone? ” She turns around

“Cathlen?” surprised,

Cathlen wears an annoyed and angry face, she is with someone, a girl who is blushing so much.

“Yes, how dare you interrupt us?” She said so angry, Vendia was so confused,

“M-miss cathlen I-I must go now…” the noble girl said hasten seemed embarrassed.

And Cathlen releases the noble girl and looks straight to Vendia with an evil smirk,

“Now what should I do to you…”

“What?” Vendia innocently ask

“You made my girl flee like a little bee”

‘Huh? what is she saying?’ confused

“Do you understand your situation right now right?”

‘Huh? Why is she approaching? I need to run quickly!’

But before she could run Cathlen our Alda already locked her up by putting her each hand into Vendia waist gripping on it tightly

“Your Vendia right?” She asks in an angry tone of voice

“I… uh…” Vendia shivered and scared while so puzzled at the moment as they both looked at each other intensely eye-locking she chuckled

‘This is going to be a fun night’ She thought satisfyingly.
