Hellhunters Neo - Chapter 1 The Demonite
The night was quite as the city seemed to be asleep. a rare site but the festival of awakening was something that could shut down the endless city. Many people tired from parties and chaos was something to behold. over 500 years of the city and all its glory this was something to behold. Each year the city was a place of both joy and chaos because the night before the awakening the city opens its gates. it allows the hordes of demons to ravage the city and take the damned who either committed crimes or who failed to find safety on what is called the purge. The next day for those who lived were celebrating the peace that came from this night of purge. See the city is a human city in the demon world who for its first 100 years was ravaged by demons constantly until the hell hunters were given stature. The HellHunters are an elite group created for destroying those demons but really all they did was build a wall and create the purge. Before long the hellhunters were people who ruled the city with an Iron claw. These demons who gained control over the human city were considered gods even if for one day their people ravage their town the other days are peace and calm. That was until today….
This night was one that it all changed. The city was at peace and the hellhunters who ruled the city were resting just like any other year. Demons crawled along the city streets from the sewers. Their claws silent as they slowly made their way towards the citadel that the hellhunters called home. Unlike the years before these demons had chosen to break the accords. So while the hellhunters slept their drunken stupior away. the creatures who they once trusted made their way into their rooms. The first was Victor whose throat was slashed open causing the howling of the vampire to fall on deaf ears as it was a flooded with the blood from his wound. The next was Almar whose heart was ripped from his chest by a flaming claw that melted his stone body with ease. Then Maximus whose head rolled across the floor as the sound of the blade rang out. the next two tried to fight back but the numbers were too great. leaving the last hell hunter who went by the name Ti Zhoa. He was outside the recruit chambers when he saw the flames rising from the citadel. He began waking the recruits to find one of the beds empty. The one with the title demonite hanging from his bed. The flash of light told Ti Zhoa the first offense was already heading to join the fray.
The long black hair floated as the demonite stood tall above the city looking down at the citadel. Flames glowed as people were beginning to stir at the sounds of explosions. Before they could realize what was going on the demons were breaking into their homes and attacking. Screams filled the night as the demons were beginning their assault on the city once more. The demonite snapped his finger as lightning flashed over head causing many demons to lift their heads. The sense of doom shivered down their spines as something told them to fear what came next. The soon to be revered black blade sliced through the demon at the front who was holding a human by the neck. before he could even react his head fell apart in chunks. the blood splattered onto the ground as the demonite stood behind him flicking the blood off the blade. The other demons around him were in shock before grunting and yelling to attack. one by one chunks of demon flew as the toll of demon deaths increased by the second. The few humans who recall this night spoke of a blue flash of lightning that seemed to be bouncing through the crowd of demons. each passing moment followed by a mist of blood. One demon managed to speak “who the hell are you?” he asked the demonite.
As the demonite came to a stop slowly drawing his blade from the chest of a demon he was half cutting through. he turned as blood sprayed over him. his red eyes glowing in the flame holding his black steel katana down towards the ground. “I am Saku Muzaki the Demonite Clone.” he said before another flash of lightning blinded those watching the scene.
