Hellhunters Neo - Chapter 12 The Alpha Second Rank
Ti Zhoa watched on as everything fell as it had. he was not surprised by the shot fired by Saku because he was a 4th rank Alpha. if the boy didn’t look so human he could have easily overtaken this army. he was the closest of the two to break into third ranks. Riku was a 5th rank but that was only because of his limited power with the sword. Ti was one of the only known 1st rank demon alpha’s. Tho many aren’t convinced as those who first claimed that to him have now since passed. so in power wise, he is closely considered a second rank but holds the title of 1st.
As Riku starts to give them new orders the flare drew their attention. A golem-like that would stop ti’s chains before he could even reach him. the layer of ice on the ground would take forever to break through even at his level. Magic had its limits no matter who tried to break them. He was still getting ready to fight when Haru stepped in. Ti was going to say something but instantly noticed the dagger he was pulling from his pouch. The infinity dagger, a demon relic that was carved from the heart of a metalcraft demon. Its said to have the smelting powers of the metal craft demon and those who can use it, make an endless number of weapons. For someone the Haru that relic was perfect.
Ti simply moved back giving Haru space as his power began to rise. Ti was on edge because from the way his power was growing if he didn’t level it out he would be a rage demon in no time. Cursed demons who break their magic limits by force causing them to go insane with power and rage endlessly for the rest of their life.
Just as things seemed to be headed down that path his power hit a flat line of stable levels. but the level Haru was at had Ti stumped. When Haru first joined the hell hunter over a few months ago his power level was that of an 8th rank. he was considered one of the weakest hell hunter trainee’s next to Edin. Yet here with just that relic he was a 2nd rank Alpha. Ti slowly lifted his hand aiming at the slowly walking Haru. Everything in his instincts screamed at him to attack. To kill Haru before he left to fight that golem. Just as he fired his first chain link Haru disappeared. His speed was on par with Riku’s which his arm swing alone could break the speed barrier. but that was only when he had the sword out. Ti let out a low audible growl as he began thinking back about the dagger as much as he could. It was moments like this that he wished he had the lord’s power. the ability to have a library at the tip of his mind at all times seemed like bliss.
He watched as Haru rushed about making the golem that shook fear in him moments ago look like a toy. This was what Ti warned him off years ago.
“Sire…You were to kill every single of vampire… yet your housing one here as a HellHunter. Do you realize the ramifications should anyone ever know? Just one vampire can make an army and then what? he would become an elder and instantly become a rank 4 or higher. while that seems like nothing to you we both know you’re only a rank 3 at best without all your boosts. That being said he can and would outlast you before you ever managed to kill him.” Ti said to the demon lord.
Those were the memories flowing into his mind as he drew back to the fight raging on between the two. He saw the explosions pelting the back of the demon. “That idiot,” Ti said as he started running towards the edge of the roof. He was about to jump when something in pure black rushed past him. He stopped stunned as a black armor flew through the air. As Haru was falling the armor flew under Haru mid-air. It lifted him up flying across the sky towards another building. it slowly set him down on the rooftop. before Haru could adjust to what was happening the armor had already flown off leaving him there with the crystal dagger resting on his chest.
Ti saw only that the armor saved him and left without a word. He was about to chase after the armor when Riku spoke. “Forget it Ti go check on the shelter, Saku gets Haru and I will go check the city and that’s an order.” The last bit focused on Ti Zhoa. Ti clenched his fist watching the armor disappear into the city building before turning to rush towards the North Shelter.
