Hellhunters Neo - Chapter 26 The Human Response
Saku was looking at the front of the barrier that was protecting the shelter. Only 4 or 5 demons something he could handle easily. He stepped towards the barrier as he slowly as his hand slowly lifted. A black portal appeared before his hand that seemed to be ripping the air open. his hand slowly dipped into the black ooze like portal. His hand slowly withdrew the true Ikrutz that caused the air to instantly began shifting from the power emanating from the blade. The portal disappeared just as quickly as it appeared once he had the sword out.
Saku stood there looking at the demons who seemed scared just at the sight of Saku’s Aura. The demons turned tail and run towards different areas. A small chuckle escaped his lips before a loud rumbling sound shook him back to his senses. He quickly started scanning the ground and sky for what could be making such a sound. Before long a blue light encircled the entire shelter. Saku turned to run towards Riku when he realized his time magic wasn’t even working.
He quickly ran towards the entrance as blue water like substance started to flow over the edges of light. Saku turned back to see the buildings seeming to get larger when he realized they were slowly sinking. Saku looked down seeing the blue water was now right at his feet. He started slamming on the door that was sealed shut before it dawned to him they were trying to protect themselves too. He reached his tail out to a bar on the side of the shelter. His tail wrapped around firmly holding on tight to the shelter with the water rising up to his knees.
After a while, a bright light flashed around causing Saku to almost instantly pass out fading for only a second. But in that second he could see what he could only describe as time it’s self-manifested as a portal.
Saku could hear rumbling of what seemed like large chunks of metal digger along dirt and rocks. He lifted his head to see a large cannon aimed towards the shelter. He quickly released his tail to charge them when he realized his power level seemed to have dropped drastically. He quickly covered his tail with his coat before making his way to the front of the crowd that nearly doubles his earlier view.
Large grey and green tanks were primed and aimed at the shelter which seemed to appear out of nowhere. The sky had loud flying metal birds something that the demon world had never seen. Most of the planes they had were like a bird with its arms spread out. This one has some kind of sword it spun above its head to keep it up.
An armed guard stood at a barricade that blocked Saku from the shelter that looked in pristine condition for having fallen the way it had. The guard pointed his gun as Saku ordering him to back up making him smirk. Sure his magic may be limited but he knew that humans would be toy things to him. Behind the guard stood a man with a special hat that made him seem goofy. With Saku’s experience with killing leaders targeting that man made the most sense. The man was staring Saku down while the officer saw this and slowly walked over.
Saku was already reaching for his dagger hidden on his back when he stopped cold. Something about the world caught his attention making him move his hand back down.
The Officer spoke first “SYL. Let that man through he seems to have a need to be here.”
Saku blinked a bit confused til he saw the seal hanging just under his left side. It was a hellhunter seal that the officer quickly tucked it away. Saku said nothing pushing past the soldier before slowly letting his tail slither down his pants. The tail poked out the bottom of his pants before flicking a rock at the soldier. The rock flew into the man’s groin causing him to instantly vomit. Saku would then continue to follow the officer towards a larger vehicle.
Once the man pulled open to the plain looking RV, inside was multiple computers with people controlling camera’s that were scanning over the shelter. The outside was nothing like the inside that seemed like a sterile room. Before long the people noticed the man walking in quickly getting to attention.
“Leave” was all the man needed to say before everyone scrambled to leave the RV. After they were all gone the man held his hand towards the door inviting Saku inside. Saku quickly walked inside making sure to be in before the man was even at the door. He didn’t know exactly what was going on but this man had some ideas.
“I assume your the speaker for the HellHunters and the human passangers under your protections.” said the man who quickly changed his strict tone to a more cowtowing one.
Saku thought for a moment before shaking his head. “Actually no… I was thrown from the sh…..ship before we landed. I am the leader of the HellHunters, Saku Muzaki. The speaker would be the one more inclined to deal with you humans then myself.” said Saku whose tone was as condisending as it seemed. He didn’t mince his words even for those who could be considered useful.
The man’s kind face quickly turned to one with a scowl. His eyes seemed to bore a hole into Saku’s head before he spoke. “Your not allowed on this world. Your father left specific instructions that should you ever come here we are to kill on site. Though seeing you in person tells me that you are probably a lot stronger then originally planned. Why are you here? Regardless to inform you… Your on the Human world meaning your magic is very weak and your tail and horns if you have any must be hidden at all times. If you can’t comply with this then I will make your time here hell.”
Saku was about to lash out with anger til he realized how foolish it would be. At this time they were limited in supplies and having a human who could assist them regardless of his feeling for him. Saku tried to remember how they ended up here before sighing. He stood up as his tail slowly slipped out from under his coat. He pushed his long black hair back over his shoulder looking at the man.
“Fine I can play along but as for why I am here… I have no idea. The city was under attack and the shelter fell through the floor and landed here. As for my magic I have enough of it to still decimate a city or two without needing to replenish. So…Yes, I am much stronger then what my father imagined. Now then… I want you to get me onto the ship. Those machines are to be cleared out.” Saku said firmly.
The man sighed before shaking his head. “Humans won’t see it as simple as you do. Right now you invaded their land and have not form of compensation. If you want those tanks and helicopters gone you have two options. Talk it out with the people or make them pull back by force. my…” before the man could finish Saku was already walking out of the RV with his sword drawn.
