Hellhunters Neo - Chapter 3 The Hunter
Desmond stood outside the armor room while little riku who was only 4’4″ was currently taking out a small squad of demons. He watched as they tried the locks but without the power to the barracks it was no use. Desmond sighed as he pushed Edin out the way. “will you fucking move you idiot.” he snapped at him as he did so. His right eye glowed with the kanji for Demon as he lifted his foot. he kicked hard on the steel door causing it to break. He continued to kick when the door flew open. the other trainees cheered while Edin could only grumble. Desmond rushed into the room grabbing a clip from Riku’s belt before calling out and tossing it over. “get his belt ready and get it to him i gotta armor up.” he ordered one of the trainees before grabbing his bracelets from their place. He slipped them over his hands and latched them in place. He grabbed his red and black cloak spinning it around his shoulders. everyone finished suiting up as the battle started to die down. at least in the barracks.
when Desmond got his orders he looked at Edin with a sigh. ~great the one guy who gets on my nerves and i have to be teamed up with him. orders are orders tho~ was all he could think of in the moment. He waited til the others were out before looking towards Edin. “you know the rules first name called is leader so that being said. I am in charge so lets get moving.” he said before rushing out hearing Edin’s shoes patter on the ground behind him. As they left the barracks it had already started raining but that wasn’t enough to die down the screams. They had made it to the hospital after only 15 mins thankfully it wasn’t to far. He looked at edin then the hospital which had demons crawling their ways into windows. “you go to the top clear the roof and get an escape plan set up. I am going in from the bottom. Do your best to lead others up to the top alright.” Desmond ordered before rushing for the main entrance. four lesser demons stood at the entrance blocking people from escaping.
Desmond reached to his right wrist and spun the bracer and when it stopped it glowed. just before him fell a spear. He caught it in mid air as he rushed at the demons who turned for the light. his right eye changed to the kanji of Dragon. The spear tip glowed as he rushed forwards at the first on the right. The demon got his sword ready for Desmond’s approach the other demons moved aside to watch. if there was one thing to be said without a leader demons cared less about one another. The demon raised its arm to swing when flames bursts forth from the tip. the flames took the shape of a dragon that burnt the demon to a crisp before he even had a chance to react. Desmond turned his head to the other three. next his right eye carried the kanji of tiger. His movement became increased as he rushed towards the second on. his spear tip just a bit ahead of his rush. this demon rushed with its steel claws swinging down at Desmond. The claw only dug through an after image of Desmond. The demon turned to see the spear ram right through his eye. His head shattered apart as Desmond jerked the spear from the head. The next demon blasted the seemingly stunned Desmond. it was like the speed took a toll on his body. He seemed to get knocked down but when the smoke from the blast cleared only the glow of the kanji god could be seen. Desmond was standing unscathed as he rushed towards the demon. The demon lifted his head but had no time as the barrier touched his hand the demon felt his flesh being torn away. He had no time cause as the barrier covered him all that was left was ashed. The last demon attempted to run but before he could demon speared him in the back. His eye glowing with the kanji for human. “you know what makes human the most scary of my abilities…. we take….and take….and take..” as he spoke the demon’s blood was being drawn into the spear. once the demon was drained desmond glowed red before settling into the new energy he regained from having fought the demons. He turned towards the entrance rushing into the hospital. he began his slow trek up the hospital floor by floor killing and collecting survivors to take to the roof.
