Hellhunters Neo - Chapter 31 A third child
After listening to Shindow’s story about how he managed to meet a person like Sasryl. The boys both had a different reaction sitting there in the open as helicopters shined lights down on the group. Saku simply nodded softly as he felt this all made more sense listening to the two. Riku was more stoic as he sat there with his arms across his chest. Shindow eyed riku as his hand rested on the mid back of sasryl.
“Regardless of how we met or how Shindow came to our world… Explain to me why your attacking innocent news crews just because humans are curious.” said Sasryl who was currently rocking the small baby in her arms.
“Shut up fox… you have no reason to speak at a demon table regardless of your mate.” said a voice.
Shindow glared at Saku expecting this disrespect from him. To his surprise Saku was staring at Riku with his mouth wide open. Riku was glaring at Sasryl like she was his next target to kill. If it wasn’t for the fact she was used to Shindow’s over whelming killer intent she might have actually been afraid of him. It all happened in a second even if it seemed to last minutes. The next thing Saku and Sasryl saw was Shindow rushing Riku lifting him by his throat.
“Enough games old man I am tired of testing the waters” said Riku as he lifted his fist.
A sound rang out like the sound of metal crashing into metal. The moment stunned both Sasryl and Saku who had watched on without moving. When they finally registered what had happened they could see Riku had knocked Shindow back a few feet. The ground had two large indents where his feet had dug into the ground to stop him from moving far back.
Riku’s fist was sending off black sparks as he adjusted to charge Shindow. He went to rush forwards when Saku stepped out in front of Riku. Riku’s eyes glared him down getting ready to attack Saku if he stayed in the way. Just as he was about to attack Saku simply shifted his weight to his left leg dodging the rush.
A moment after passing Saku, Riku was still rushing at Shindow when his body collapsed from under him. Riku slammed into the ground feeling his body unable to move. His head struggled as he tried to move about but the link between his body and mind seemed to have been magically severed.
Shindow walked towards Riku seeing the look in his eyes. He slowly lowered himself down enough to lift Riku’s head up.
“Demonic suppression something all hunters learn in order to take down non raging demons. This is one of the more gentle techniques but seeing as you learned it. Something tells me Saku that you knew all to well that this was Riku’s future.” Said Shindow before getting up to move to Riku’s side.
A purple glow flowed around Shindow’s fist before it collided into Riku’s spine. While normally this would cause a spine to break from the force. Shindow’s fist was digging into Riku’s body instead of hitting it. While Riku couldn’t move, it didn’t mean he couldn’t feel the pain. He screamed as his body felt like it was being ripped apart.
As Riku screamed Shindow could feel the power of his body pooling up around his fist. The deeper into Riku’s life force he dug the greater the magical energy. Before he used Saku as a buffer for this magic but now feeling it first hand made him only more proud.
As this continued Shindow could feel something pushing back against his seal he was attempting to put on Riku. All the while no one truly knew what was coming. Riku’s screams were putting off such great magical force that Saku was actually having to protect Sasryl and the small child. He was using his lightning to create a barrier but it also limited his view with the two forms of magic colliding.
It was so small compared that no one had time to react. Even the fastest creatures in the universe could not stop the unknown. Once everything registered they saw Shindow fall limp to the side. Riku’s roaring magic ended as he laid passed out on the ground. Sasryl put a sling like pouch with the small fox around Saku’s shoulders before he had time to protest. He stood stunned holding the small child when he looked over to the side. It was a man holding a Su0026W 460XVR hand cannon the man looked shocked at sheer force of the gun.
The man aimed the gun at the downed Riku as he slowly walked up. Saku growled but was worried about exceeding the speed barrier simply because of the small blue fox in his arm. The child made his heart soft to see his sleeping brother. Who almost looked human aside from the tails and ears of bright blue color. The child could feel Saku’s intent and began to fuss causing him to settle down and coo the child back to a relaxed state.
“SASRYL… You need to stop this foolishness. I killed it so now you are no longer under it spell. The man at the gun store said this would work for taking down large creatures. I figured this would work now that your free come back… Sasryl I know he forced you to…” He stopped mid sentence seeing the look on her face.
“You think I would have gone so long under a single spell without taking a risk to pass a note. You think you knew him so well that it made you think that’s why… I didn’t leave you for my work…I didn’t leave you for pleasure…. I left you because I couldn’t carry your child… Your a human… Don’t you get it?” She said as her fangs were showing through her normal illusion magic. Before long her ears and tails appeared as well. Her eyes glowed with a blue flame that made even Saku feel bad for the guy.
“You stupid humans never could accept other sentient species. I watched how you treated him as if he was a weapon you could use. I had to hide who I was even from you… The one who claims to love me. Now you dear come and…” As she was talking another bullet was fired from the gun. The bullet flew towards Sasryl who quickly dodged to the side.
“You damn monster… you tricked me into sleeping with you… all this time I loved you and you were one of them. Oh god what have I done… I fucked a mutt… Oh god is this bestiality?” The man was showing his true color causing even Saku to start getting angry. It may not be his mate but she was the mother of his brother.
She growled as she got ready to move when something wrapped around her waist. She looked down to see her son resting in the sling. She looked up to see Saku who was standing before her.
“Relax he wouldn’t be happy if I let you fight even if you are mad. Besides if your a beast what would he call my daughter…” Saku said before turning his attention back to the man. “He would never let me live it down if you were the one to fight. Besides….A son doesn’t need to see their mother that way.”
The man aimed the gun at him firing the last three in the chamber barely able to feel his arms much less hold the gun up. He tossed it to the ground before lifting a rifle the was slung over his back. As soon as the barrel lifted up he held the trigger down letting the rounds fire towards them randomly.
once the firing let up the man opened his eyes in shock seeing a wall of bullets. These bullets all stopped in mid air with lightning bouncing between them. While it looks like a wall of magic blocked the bullets that wasn’t the case. The moment the man lifted the first gun to start firing Saku place out a large field of electromagnetic lightning. It was invisible simply because of how small the lightning was spread out. As the bullets traveled it was like pushing through a counter force rotating in the opposite direction slowing the bullets trajectory. Before long the energy came to a stop and the only thing holding the bullets up was the field its self.
“You realize your using modern weapons that have already been tried on us right? Do you humans never learn? Do you need a god to show you what true power looks like?” Saku said in a dark demonic tone as his fingers slowly lifted up to grab the three large bullets out of the bunch.
The bullets slowly started falling to the ground as he slowly moved his thumb behind one of the rounds aiming at the man. His thumb flicked out firing the round that flew into the ground by the man’s foot. The bullet was about a foot away but he could feel the force of wind from how fast it traveled. Saku started walking towards the man as another round was being shifted in his hand into place. The man was trembling as he struggled to get another mag into the rifle. As he started to lift the gun the bullet hit the gun. The man’s eyes were focused on the gun as it was blown into two halves. He tossed the rifle away with a girlish scream falling back.
Saku stood over the man with the last bullet aimed right at his face. “You humans…. you think you are the highest tier… That’s only because of the man whom you shot. He fought so hard to give you humans a world without fear. Now you turned your guns on him because you couldn’t get over the truth. Then because the one thing you claimed to love wasn’t human you turned your gun on her. Its funny how weak you humans truly are to your emotions. Not one bit of it makes sense and yet here we are… Maybe I should be more like my human side, do something nonsensical.” Saku said as his eyes glowed red causing the man’s fear to almost tip over the top. The last bullet flicked out of his fingers.
The bullet shot past the man’s ear causing the gust to basically slap him in the face. The force caused the ground behind his head to shift as the bullet dug into it before stopping. The man was stunned for a moment before falling back. He passed out from the shock and fear of nearly dying.
Saku turned and walked back towards where Sasryl and the others were. Shindow was standing there touching the boy’s head. “Didn’t know you became so soft Saku” said Shindow who never turned to look at him.
“I wanted to be human for a moment… boring but the man did piss himself.” said Saku as he walked over to Riku when something caught his attention….
