Her Wicked CEO: How To Seduce A Hikikomori Wife? - Chapter 278
In a dark room, Yuan Bo seems to be waiting with a bored look on his face while keeping his eyes fixed on the photographs lying at the centre. As the images reveal itself on the photograph papers, he grips the edge of the table and leans closer with interest in his eyes.
An old man in the late seventies steps into the room. He closes the door and walks to the man. “Lord, we have taken care of the evidence.”
Now, they know who was targeting the tails of the Consortium. Since Mira Kirishima is a candidate, they have taken care of all the pieces of evidence that she had left. The CCTV footage was erased and the photographs… They can’t trace it to Mira Kirishima.
“Kamiyama Takeshi and Kinoshita Iori were also there.” The old man says to him with a solemn voice, “He’s seeing Kinoshita Iori, a journalist who is trying to look into a case in which Tezuka Kohei was involved. The Kamiyama family hasn’t made any statement regarding the poisoning incident.”
They can’t take care of all the people in the restaurant. There’s only one way. They must find a child to substitute for Mira Kirishima. “I have found someone. The police will find the body of the child soon.”
The child was given the same poison. Her face was marred with a knife. The police will look for the waiter who was with Mira Kirishima that day.
Yuan Bo picks up a picture and studies it with a thoughtful gaze. “Nagasaki, I can’t tell whether she’s more like Silvester or Dionne.”
The old man glances at the photograph in Yuan Bo’s hands. In the photograph, the knife was between Tezuka Kohei’s brows. The emblem of the Consortium is a golden third eye between two entangled black serpents. The message is clear enough.
“I don’t think that she’s like them.” The old man, the father of Daniel Nagasaki, tells Yuan Bo, “They would not try to destroy the Consortium, my lord.”
“Are you sure?” Yuan Bo tilts his head and gives him a chilling smile. “Nagasaki, do you know how long you have left?”
The old trembles as he bows his head, not daring to utter a word. How did he offend this demon?
“A few months if you don’t speak unnecessary words.” Yuan Bo tosses the photograph on the table. He goes to the wall that is covered with pictures of the Ash and Kirishima family. He lets out an exasperated sigh as his gaze focuses on the photograph of Mira Kirishima. “You sneaky little brat! How did you manage to cast the forgotten calling and turn the table around? You had to make a troublesome wish right after I woke up.”
How did Mira Kirishima find out the secret?
The connection between love and the song… Yuan Bo chortles. “Aren’t you a demon like me, Mira Kirishima?”
If she wasn’t a demon, how could she make a violin out of her loved one’s body?
The song was a powerful spell. It couldn’t be played on a regular violin. The violin was made from the flesh and bones of the loved one whom the founder of the consortium sacrificed around hundreds of years ago. It would only react to the founder’s bloodline with the gift. So many things have happened since then. Each heir struggled to complete the song in the past. Dionne and Christopher were better than their ancestors, but they couldn’t figure out why the song always sounded wrong whenever they tried to complete it.
Usually, there would be a battle between two heirs for the throne if none of them could complete the song. Mira Kirishima certainly lost the battle in her past life. Before she could be found by Valerie Kang, she had built her own violin and played the spell that forced him to grant her wish.
She made a sly wish.
Time was turned back. The person who died… her sacrifice is alive again.
But he doesn’t know who that person is.
The game is replaying, but the winner is decided.
However, how could he let that brat win again? He’s going to find the sacrifice. Only she can tell who he is.
He can’t put Mira Kirishima on the throne. Yuan Bo plucks the picture from the wall and goes to the old man’s side. “You are right. She’s not like Dionne or Silvester if she can outsmart a demon. We can’t have her running around in the streets for long. Find her quickly if you want to live longer, Nagasaki. I am running out of patience.”
“We will find her,” The old man promises him. “My lord, have mercy. She will return home.”
Yuan Bo guffaws. His laughter ends in loud coughs. He clutches his c.h.e.s.t as a trail of blood drips from his chin. Damn! This body won’t last long.
Mira Kirishima doesn’t know the entire truth.
“Find me a new body.” Yuan Bo commands the old man, “Someone young.”
The old man bows before he walks out of the room.
“I am thankful to you, Mira Kirishima.” He wipes the blood on his chin. “You freed me from that violin where your ancestor locked me in. What if I tell you that only your and the founder’s sacrifices were valuable? It was certainly amusing to see your clueless ancestors killing their most beloved one in the past.”
What can he say? Humans are blind fools. The founder of the Consortium made the violin from the flesh and bones of his most beloved one. He summoned him using the spell and made him grant his wish, only to imprison him in the violin.
But the founder had led his descendants to believe that they needed to sacrifice their loved ones. It was a test to see who was devoted to the Consortium. The demon had watched it all and laughed inside the violin, his prison. After hundreds of years, Mira Kirishima made a new instrument to cast the spell and summoned him out of that prison.
Founder’s violin is already destroyed. There’s no prison that can contain him.
Throne of the Consortium?
He wouldn’t mind playing around with human lives.
