Her Wicked CEO: How To Seduce A Hikikomori Wife? - Chapter 292
And where is Mira in this equation? She was given a chance but she chose the same path.
His parents didn’t remember their other lives. He has no idea who died after his death. Why is it related to his death anyway? Was his death different?
He thinks about the day he died. It was an alley, a town that was a little away from the village where Mira’s home was. What was special about Mira’s home? What did she say about the cave?
It was the place where she hid when her mother was chasing her to kill her.
Mira’s mother had raised her like a boy. She had no idea that Mira was a girl. Is that what twisted Mira? Was it her father, Daniel Nagasaki? Mira’s twin brother was killed in infancy. It turned out that it was her father who killed real Yuki Kirishima.
That’s all he learned about her after his rebirth.
He should have tried to find more about her in his previous life. He believed her lies blindly when she told him that she was an orphan. Except for her name, every other detail was a lie.
But she was in a bad state when he met her. Mira was underweight. She was fine being his maid. She even offered herself to warm his bed. He pitied her at first. So, he let her work as a maid. Then, she got hurt by Yuan Bo…
Yuta exhales. Yuan Bo was targeting Mira — not him.
“Mother.” Yuta looks at his mother — not as a child but as a man who has seen enough blood in his other life. “If Valerie recovers her memories come back and she chooses to go against our family, I will kill her.”
He will also kill Mira. That despicable woman. He hates her.
His mother doesn’t show any emotion. “Did she kill you?”
“No.” Yuta gulps, looking at his father, wondering if he should say the name. Though he hates Mira, there’s a part of him that doesn’t want to see her suffer anymore. Then again, he wants her to suffer a lot. He doesn’t understand his own feelings. He hates her and yet, he wants to see her again.
“Trust your mother,” His father advises him.
If it was that easy… Yuta gives his hand to his mother. “Promise me that you won’t hurt that person.”
His father is quite predictable but Yuta has no clue when it comes to his mother. If he thinks about it logically, she’s a variable that flips all plans upside down.
Taking down DH alone and then, revealing everything to the media… she even mentioned Consortium in the public. Wait… why are they still alive? The dark hackers should have attacked them already. People from the underworld could kidnap them and torture them in their dungeons. His mother doesn’t think about the consequences.
“Won’t hurt that person, huh?” A slow smile appears on Rie’s lips. Her brown eyes brighten up. She places her elbows on her t.h.i.g.hs, leaning forward as she smiles wider. Her tone turns saccharine. “Who could it be, who could it be… my son still cares about ‘her’ when he is fine killing his adopted sister if she turns evil.”
Shit! Yuta feels goosebumps in his body. He eyes his father again for the help.
His father shakes his head with a mild smile on his lips. He mouthes silently, ‘You are done.’
“Mother, it’s not someone I c-care about.” Yuta looks for an escape. Why is no distraction appearing at this time? Then, he has no choice left. He tilts his head and smiles warmly at his mother. Screw his real age! “I want to kill her with my own hands.”
“As if you can kill her.” Rie snorts at him. “Who are you trying to fool? I can already guess who it is.”
“W-Who?” Yuta hopes that his mother’s guess is wrong.
“She killed you but you cared about her enough to not utter her name in front of me.” The smile disappears from her lips. Her gaze turns stern. She holds his elbows and looks into his eyes. “You can’t hide your love for her, Son. You might have killed people, but you also love too deeply like your father. You might have received brains from me, but you certainly have his heart.”
“Thank goodness!” Kiyohira lets out a laugh. “What would I have done if my son was as heartless as you are?”
She turns her head toward Kiyohira and scrunches her nose. “I am not heartless anymore.”
“You left me.” Kiyohira looks at his fingers. “Not once or twice. I remember now. My son even asked me if Kamiyama men were cursed.”
“They are morons.” Rie states bitterly, “It’s because of your influence. Why does my son still care about someone who killed him? He should be skinning her alive.”
“You just said that everyone deserves a second chance.” Kiyohira raises his eyebrow. There’s a faint smile on his lips. His eyes glitter with amus.e.m.e.nt when his wife raises her chin proudly and huffs at him.
“She got it and threw it away.” Rie releases Yuta. She half-turns her body toward Kiyohira and scoffs at him, “Kamiyama men are dumb. Why did I marry a fool like you? If I had known that my son would receive such foolish genes, I would have married someone smart. I am so worried about Sho. What would become of him?”
What is going on? This is supposed to be a serious discussion. Yuta’s eyes dart between his parents, wondering if they are going to fight again.
“I have a feeling that Sho isn’t like me.” Kiyohira scratches his chin. “Maybe he’s more like you. The boy’s temperament has me worried. What if he has your heart and my brains? It’s not bad. He would be breaking people’s hearts a lot.”
“…” Now, Yuta is also worried about his younger brother. Honestly, his mother isn’t that smart. She’s good with computers but there’s a simple fact: her EQ is too low.
Rie narrows her eyes slightly, thinking hard about her second son. He’s only a toddler but he’s different from Yuta. “I think that he will be fine as long as he doesn’t get killed by his girlfriend.”
Yuta shakes his head. Should he mention to his mother that she was also killed because of her foolish decision?
Let it be.
