High School Harem - Volume 1 Chapter 2
I’m dead. How did I die? Yeah, now that’s the joke of the century. I have or had a girlfriend.I loved her with all my heart. I thought she loved me too. I was happy. I never thought she’d betray me. But she did. And she’s also the one who killed me.
On that day, we were having a nice romantic candlelight dinner. She gave my some papers to sign. I had so much trust in her that I didn’t even look at the contents of the paper. BIG MISTAKE: It was a paper to transfer all my hard earned money to her.
I’m not a fan of drinking. But since it was a special day, I took out some wine. My GF went to get the glasses and I was busy opening the wine. I didn’t see her take a packet from her bra which she opened and tipped the contents in my glass(It was an odourless, tasteless poison). I poured the wine in both glasses and we clinked them. I drank the wine in one gulp as I’m not a fan of alcohol.
Within a minute, I felt an intense burning in my chest. I asked for help from my GF, but she just smiled evilly at me. Then she said, ” MC, I was never in love with you. I just wanted to get your money so I got close to you. You just signed some doc.u.ments transferring all your money to me. I made your death as painless as possible, so don’t hate me. ” With that, she got up and exited my home.
I was in despair. Death seemed like a relief to me, so I welcome it with open arms. Then I died. I wished for another chance to live again in a world of my choosing.
Then I realized that I was in a peculiar place. There was just darkness around me. I went forward until I bumped into a machine. The machine lit up and words appeared on the machine, “Welcome to the bridge of Death. Choose whether to proceed to the afterlife or to be reincarnated into a world of your choosing.” I chose the path of reincarnation. I also asked to be reborn as Takashi Komuro in High School of the Dead world. But this world was a little different from the original as it was a world in which I placed characters from different Animes I watched in.
I also wished to not carry the memories of this present life to that world. The machine accepted add then asked me to pick skills of my choice.
